I don’t know anything about this one, but I heard from people working in the sorting warehouses in NL, that the apples we are buying from the supermarkets are year or two years old. Just defrosted and packed in trays.

the elastic thing that came out of cup cake is natural within the flour that makes flour elastic when kneaded . Refined flour that is used bakery items has more amount of gluten in it, so dont worry about it
