Some people suffer from Hero Syndrome This is not the way to project their work I remember a officer in rajsthan was not allowed to transfer because the whole district came out in protest of transfer as they loved his work nd dedication for people It's the people who should speak about the work and not officers himself on videos for social media consumption

Agree with that person. Why is the camera needed...to show that you are working?? Also, that attitude is the biggest issue. Many talk like that, too, even with common people who try to tell them their grievances.

Bhai mai yahin se hu haldwani se. Kumaun Commissioner hain ye yahan. Dikhaate aise hain jaise kitne doodh ke dhule honge. Lekin yahan ka har Chhota bada businessman inse pareshaan hai inki ghooskhori se.

DM Deepak Rawat faces allegations of attempted murder!

His own performance evaluation should be done on camera also and he should be humiliated publicly if any shortcomings are found like he does to his subordinates.

Its not about making themselves a hero, they're also sending a message of behavioural change to their subordinates; that their work would be scrutinized & that too in full public view. Yes they are civil servants but it cannot be denied that departmental staff of Government offices needs to be desciplined. I've been dealing with these offices since past many years and it is true that public is taken for granted and made to run from one desk to the other even for basic work. So from the public point of view, this is a welcome step.

Look, this is all a publicity stunt. It is not the job of IAS officers to go around making blogs. If you want to become a YouTuber then you should leave your job.

IAS should be banned from making videos of their conquests in the old govt offices with age-old working ethics. They can change this from within and then demonstrate how it was changed for the better. Kalesh ke liye we already have Big Boss.

Civil Servants are neither civil nor servants

Most Indians do government jobs for under the table money, power or job security means even if you don't work, the job is secure. Some work for facilities provided by the government.
