I'm an intersex male-leaning vtuber (despite my voice) and currently studying Zoology major in university. I'm passionate about animals, preservation and overall just the study of anything nature related including fossils and dinosaurs :)

there are male Vtubers. it's just demoralizing to some when they look at the competition and see nothing happen after maybe some time passes. a year or 2 of streaming? nothing. i'd probably say keep trying, but that's up to the person whether or not they want to do so or not.

I totally understand what you mean. But we can only measure ourselves based on our own growth. It's about putting yourself out there and learning from the people around you. And this isn't exclusive to any gender either, its a struggle. I made content before vtubing and had no success. I fell flat on my face repeatedly but keep picking myself up. Unfortunately, content creation takes a lot of grit.

I feel the same about female vtubers. Honestly way too many lean into the fanservice and even the onlyfans/fansly deal. And that's perfectly fine you can do what you want. But there's other options too. There's not enough bullshittery and nerdiness in this nerdy area.
