Hey! Even if VRR is enabled, it isn’t working on your TV (stuck at 119). It sadly needs a per-game update. Onimusha at 120Hz with unlocked fps already ran great, but you’re not experiencing VRR just yet.

Playing it in Fortnite is insane, and I think it was even updated so Fortnite can run it natively with HDR. The Switch 2 is proving to be a great console 🥹✨️

Reminder, if you have a soundbar don't connect You switch 2 to it via eARC. Connect the switch 2 directly to an 2.1 HDMI port

genuinely insane power, if modders can hack the switch 2 they could honestly get extremely modern pc games (death stranding) to run on the switch 2 via linux or similar

Games have to be updated...vrr doesn't just work, it's like a setting in the software that needs turned on. That's why nintendos switch tour game just got an update

Yeah but rn games aren’t utilizing it without an update. Everything except the welcome tour tech demo is outputting in a fixed frame rate container for vrr to lock to so when frames drop u can see it still

What's this placebo effect? I tried the Onimusha Demo yesterday on docked mode and I couldn't stand the frame pacing. Started playing handheld and it felt really good with VRR. I tried the demo today again with the updated dock and it feels great! What's happening?

No, the docked already supports hdmi 2.1 and the hardware manages it, only required a firmware upgrade

@PanthoriusPrime No, dock doesn´t have HDMI 2.1, it only supports 4k/60 or 2K if using VRR, the console tells you where you activate VRR settings. Look Onimusha with VRR left and then MK World on the right its 4k bc no VRR.
