Wouldn't switching to Local Transform Orientation be easier and achieve the same?

That's a good solution. I usually set the 3D cursor to align with one of the planes on the object then set the transformations to use the 3D cursor

This sort of thing felt natural in 3DS Max but feels less used in Blender. It’s a good technique!

Added a "Slice" boolean mode with an inset. Look at those perfect normals 🥰 #b3d #geometrynodes #normalMagic

3D is weird. You’ll spend 8 hours perfecting a shader, no one notices. Then tweak the lighting for 15 minutes and everyone loses their mind and calls it cinematic. Most of what makes a shot work… you’ll never see in a node tree. You’ll feel it. That’s the craft.

Making my Face Rig a bit more User Friendly! The mouth, eyebrows and eyes again all have Action constraints that are controlled by the Controllers. I also want to do an Expression Controller for smiles, frowns, teeth etc, but this covers a lot of expressions! #blender #b3d
