And led to the sabotage most likely corroborated with parties from Disney/Marvel to make sure Snyders work didn't see the light of day so that they could cash in heavily. As we can see hidden in Civil War (which was originally Serpent Society), Infinity War and Endgame.

After Zack left, DC quality dropped and Marvel quality tanked as well with a few decent films here and there. Fans lost all around.
