【Zankou's Interrogation Practice】 It was supposed to be a quiet bath... until a certain phantom decided to crash it. "Fufu... look at you, all tense. What a perfect chance for us to practice a little 'interrogation'... Who knows? It might come in handy when you finally meet the real me."

Geno Auriemma: If you want to play a certain way, you have to practice that way. If not, you are hoping you get lucky. When you practice and train hard, you might slip, but it won’t be far. (🎥 via: MasterClass )

Kenny Dillingham delivers a raw message on excellence and what average really looks like. "It was a really, really bad day on offense. And it all stems from the passion we play with." "Is it okay to not make a play? And if you accept it, then you accept it and that's who you're gonna be." Then he laid out the truth: "Don't be mad going 5-7. It's okay. Don't be mad going 6-6. Don't be mad going 3-9. 'Cause somebody has to go those records. There's gonna be tons of teams who do it. Why not us?" If you accept average, you'll become average. "We didn't practice bad - we didn't practice with passion." "The best teams - it matters all the time. You wanna win everything. And today we didn't have that mindset." They look to compete every single day. They win because they have a winning mindset. "We didn't wanna win. We wanted to practice. And those are 2 different mindsets to me." Then he dropped the line: "It was a good practice for a bad team. It was an average practice for an average team. That's what today was." This is what the mindset of excellence looks like: "We didn't practice with passion." → Good isn't good enough. "It matters all the time." → Standards never take a day off. "It was a good practice for a bad team." → Champions demand more. (🎥Justin LaCertosa)

"When building a championship, it doesn't just come automatically. It doesn't come because you want to. It comes in stages. You have to earn your way. On your own practice field - this is where it happens. This is the only place that can make you who you're going to be."

"Run hard when it gets hard to run. Everything starts with discipline. Practice until you can’t get it wrong - not just until you get it right. If you don’t respect it enough to do it right-when it’s the right way to do it, how can you be trusted in a game?" - Nick Saban

It’s a lot easier to practice full speed and slow it down in a game if you need to. What we can’t do is practice half speed and except to go game speed come game time. Practice how you want to play.

“He said to me on the phone, it was supposed to be you, verbatim. At the moment, I just took it as poorly expressed grief. He was crying, I was crying. I thought he said, it was supposed to be you. It was supposed to be you. So I have questions about that now.” “What scares me more is considering the world that our children will inherit if we stay quiet. We feel the squeeze. We feel the evil. We feel the cloud. It’s there. And you have a bunch of people who, whether it’s for money or for fear, are allowing it to happen. There are so many historical lessons about what can happen to a country when good men do nothing.” Candace Owens

To prepare Al Pacino to play LAPD detective Vincent Hanna in Heat, Michael Mann had him perform a mock interrogation on a real professional criminal: John Santucci, the real-life thief James Caan’s character in Thief was based on. Mann called it a “very rough interrogation.”

I’ve been a huge fan of this show for years, so it was a real honor to have the chance to work on it. Thank you for all the smiles. Me and Pim have a swan song for you.

Big leaguers work on their craft. You have to be obsessed with it. Reminds me of a saying: Amateurs practice until they get it right, Professionals practice until they can’t get it wrong. @mlb #allstar @jonahheim6 is that professional.

A fire doesn’t wait. It doesn’t warn. It takes. Know without doubt your home has a working smoke alarm. Know for certain your family knows what to do when it beeps. A life lost. A family forever changed. Seconds decide everything. Test. Practice. Survive. #SavedByTheBeep

🎥 Coach Sacco on today's dress-and-drive practice in NYC: "Change of pace for the guys. Get to look at the outdoors. Was only a 30-minute practice just to get our legs under us...it's good for the guys, can see the energy level is a little different when you change the scenery."

After all these questions she still decided to pop on him 🤔 Like seriously 😳!!! Asking him questions like it was an interrogation. Immediately she said tell me a joke , I would've popped 🤨 Like, you are barely smiling, you want me to force you to laugh 🤔
