We have intel indicating that Russia is preparing a new massive attack. Please pay attention to air raid alerts and stay safe. Air defense and the continued need to help Ukraine protect its skies are our key priorities. I am grateful to every partner, every leader, and every country that is ready to help and that implements our arrangements in full. The PURL initiative must work. This concerns both the United States and Europe. We are pooling funds from our European partners and other friends to purchase missiles, including for Patriot systems. Sufficient supplies depend on America, and we hope that Ukraine will be heard.

I held a meeting with German Foreign Minister @ABaerbock. We discussed further support for our state, the path to a dignified peace, and the development of security guarantee formats. Germany is a leader in Europe in the scale of assistance provided to Ukraine — from financial aid and weapons to strengthening our air defense. This includes 6 IRIS-T systems, 3 Patriot systems, and Gepard anti-aircraft guns. All this support has saved thousands of lives. We are grateful to the Bundestag for the decision to provide an additional 3 billion euros to Ukraine. In total, German support this year will amount to 7 billion euros. We are grateful that German support for Ukraine remains unwavering and stable. We thank Germany, its Government, and all the German people for their significant assistance.

And it's not only about Ukraine – it's to all the Europeans who have such capabilities to start and to produce it massively. We continue to work with partners in order to maintain unity in support for Ukraine. With those in Europe, America, and around the world who support us, our state, and international law. Our foreign policy will be active in the coming weeks, and we are already planning international activities for January. We make every effort to strengthen Ukraine and ensure that everyone is confident about the coming year, about military aid, macro-financial assistance, and political support.

The main news today is something we have all been waiting for and working on for months on various levels: two more air defense systems have arrived in Ukraine. Naturally, all details should not be made public. But these are the systems capable of intercepting everything. We will protect regions. There are not yet enough systems in place to fully protect Ukraine, but we are working on it every day. I am grateful to our partners who help us strengthen Ukraine’s air defense and protect lives.

This week, we’ve seen important decisions from our partners, decisions that really help. France has confirmed a new missile package. We continue with France a significant training program for our soldiers. I’m grateful for this support. We are working closely with the U.S. on new defense packages that will bolster our air defense systems – a critical need as winter approaches and Russian strikes persist. We also need real progress in terms of range long-range capabilities. Additionally, a decision has been made that allows American contractors to work in Ukraine on equipment repairs and maintenance, which will expedite these processes. I am also grateful to Canada for working with us to supply additional Nassams air defense systems. The UK has taken new action this week, imposing sanctions on Russian entities fueling the war. This is important, and I thank for this. All Russian individuals and entities supporting their military-industrial complex should be isolated globally, reducing Russia’s capacity to avoid fair, real diplomacy and continue this war. Sanctions need to curb Putin’s overconfidence, and that is achievable. Lithuania is preparing a new military aid package and collaborating with us on securing funds for weapon purchases and local production. Sweden - there are new decisions in both civilian and military support, particularly for maritime security. I want to express our deep gratitude to every partner around the world who is helping us.

Much depends on our partners – there is good momentum with Europe, and we are awaiting decisions from the U.S. In particular regarding the Patriots – we have proposed to the U.S. the purchase of the necessary number of systems. Also on the table is our proposal on drones. We have given our partners serious opportunities not only to invest in production in Ukraine – and our drones are clearly proving their effectiveness – but we are also preparing to build industrial complexes on the territory of our partners – our joint production facilities with them. For the first time in history, Ukraine will have modern joint arms production with strong countries.
