Audit Window Extension 📢 The audit window has been extended, following activation of Hardfork v10 at block 511000. 🗓️ ETA for window opening: ~52 hours ➡️ Download Link: This extension has been granted to ensure that critical services and partners who support the Zephyr ecosystem have been able to get all their assets audited successfully. Some exchange entities are handling large volumes of user funds, which has made the process more complex than for typical users. We are working with them to ensure this gets done as efficiently as possible. At long last, RHP John Holobetz (GG #14) is headed to Triple-A Worcester. Finally some statcast data — that sinker will turn some heads. The 23yo has posted a 2.70 ERA/2.13 FIP with a 0.90 WHIP and 30% K-BB rate over his last five starts (23.1 IP). He started the year off on a scorching hot note, cooled off a bit, but has now found his groove again. K% and SwStr% are up a ton this year but cStr% is a tad bit down. I’d like to see a 30% CSW rate in AAA. Velo is up. Moldable clay in the arsenal. High floor thanks to his strike-throwing ability. Holobetz is another metric darling arm. I’m super pumped. Top 10 prospect in the org right now (meaning next update, post-deadline).

Some insider info regarding Deadlock PvE. The PvE mode features 4 game variants and 7 different stages* (*?). Heroes have a progression system and personal Artifacts (currently one of the testing options). You kill monsters and get a chest containing an item. In one of the variants, chests drop from bosses. In another, they are rewarded for completing challange (potentially along the lines of: "kill 100 monsters using the 1st skill, get upgrades beneficial for the 1st skill"). Items can stack and be upgraded (similarly to Streetbrawl, but like you'll get 4 items, but each duplicate will affect the damage percentage, radius, etc.) The number of items and possible upgrades is limited. There are also legendary items from Streetbrawl, as well as a new type of item (artifacts) that have a separate inventory slot. Bosses can disable your stamina and items, and affect both you and the monsters in general. The final objectives differ for each mode, but exact descriptions are not available yet. --- In reality, this is the exact same thing that happened with StreetBrawl 6 - Valve threw in a wide variety of ideas and is currently testing them. (For those who don't remember, there were initially many different rumors about how StreetBrawl worked, but the final 4v4 system, random items, and round-based combat remained). Information from an anonymous source who previously discussed the mod-split in the Ranked update and the item changes in the Minor Update (prior to the Ranked update)

While I have premium I definitely want to do a long post breaking down the main scene from this show that I obsess with. There's so much that I feel could be learned from it. Not just for expansion animators either. There's honestly a LOT that can be learned from how this show directed its expansion scenes that can be applied to even safe for work animations. Obviously yes, the expansion alone is really good. What makes it so good though is just the fact that there's things you pick up on that you likely don't even realize until you re-watch. I'm using this scene as an example as it's not AS good I would say, but it still has a lot going for it. One thing I've always loved from it that I want to use in my own animations someday is that the expansion sort of comes in waves as opposed to one consistent growth. In a way, it makes it feel more natural while also selling how tight the top is getting. It could have been accompanied by showing the knot getting tighter or smaller with each growth. It's a small part of the animation but just that one thing already adds another layer to appreciate. It's not like most expansion scenes where there's very little outside of just "growing" on its own. There's a bunch of little things that subtly improve it without being obnoxious. The first expansion scene has WAY more that I want to talk about honestly. Far more than this one has. It will probably be a really long post now that I think about it...

💔🏳️‍⚧️ Finding out Michael from #TheProudFamily was supposed to have they/them pronouns but was cut from the show is another reminder that the beautiful diversity that (Disney Creatives) keep fighting for are low priority for (Corporate Disney). 💖🏳️‍⚧️ But there is some hope… • The ‘MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE’ Revival Special introduced Kelly, Malcolm’s trans non-binary sibling played by trans non-binary actor Vaughan Murrae. • Filipino American writer and creator Mia Resella is trans non-binary and the creator and showrunner of the new upcoming Disney Jr show ‘SAM WITCH’ coming out in 2026. That’s a big deal because it directly counters the conservative political push to bar trans creatives and talent from working in family entertainment. • And it might be a long shot, but for a year Hunter Schafer has been rumored to be the frontrunner for playing Mystique in the upcoming #Xmen movies and by a miracle might get it, even though she’s clearly the perfect actress for the role. UPDATE: MADDISON IS GOING HOME!!! 🙏🏻❤️ I have an incredible update for all of you who have been following Maddison McDonald’s story and stepped up to help this family. MADDISON GETS TO GO HOME! Her mom reached out to me tonight and told me that Maddison is being discharged. They still have a long road ahead. The family has to arrange home health care, pick up her wheelchair and walker, and continue making their home as accessible as possible for her. Doctors also performed another MRI overnight and sent her spinal fluid for more detailed testing. Some of those results could take up to a month to come back. But her mom shared some WONDERFUL news: doctors have been able to rule out cancer, MS, and several other frightening possibilities. PRAISE GOD! 🙏🏻 Her mom also shared that Maddison has damage around L4/L5 involving a bulging disc and continues to deal with loss of function and significant pain. She still has a very long journey ahead of her, and there are still unanswered medical questions. But tonight, she gets to go HOME. ❤️ And I want every single person who donated, shared her story, prayed for her family, or helped them prepare their home to understand something: YOU HELPED MAKE THIS POSSIBLE. When I first shared what this family needed, you showed up. Because of your generosity, they are closer to having the equipment and accessibility Maddison needs to safely live at home while she continues this journey. But this isn’t the end of Maddison’s story. Going home doesn’t mean the struggle is over. She still needs home health care. She still needs mobility equipment. She still needs an accessible home. LinkedIn wrapped is here! And it's made with Rive Stoked to be invited by BUCK to join the project. I wasn’t actually animating the thing though I had more of a technical assignment and we had quite a few things to solve. There is 9 chapters total (but not everyone sees all the chapters or even all the slides in given chapter) in 3 languages, the data being sent to Rive is raw so we had to cover for many variables: - A progress bar aware what chapters are included for given user - A progress bar checking what slides are included for and logging their duration time to progress bar - A custom slider solution (the default Rive slider is not enough if you turn contents on and off) - A State Machine logic aware of chapters or slides skipped from playback - A custom slider behavior for when there is auto-slide (instant) and tap-slide (slide animation) - A custom text-length tracker for to dynamically change font-size for long strings - A custom screen ratio tracker to scale down the UI for small screens - Handling dynamically handle big numbers (10,000 becomes 10k etc.) - Handling translations (3 languages) - Super complex behaviour for when if some data-point is missing we don’t leave a blank space, but it is being replaced with other data point instead (so some user se A-B-C, but some will see only B-C as if A never existed without leaving blank space) - Rage click prevention Amazing experience, thanks for having me. LinkedIn wrapped is here! And it's made with Rive Stoked to be invited by BUCK to join the project. I wasn’t actually animating the thing though I had more of a technical assignment and we had quite a few things to solve. There is 9 chapters total (but not everyone sees all the chapters or even all the slides in given chapter) in 3 languages, the data being sent to Rive is raw so we had to cover for many variables: - A progress bar aware what chapters are included for given user - A progress bar checking what slides are included for and logging their duration time to progress bar - A custom slider solution (the default Rive slider is not enough if you turn contents on and off) - A State Machine logic aware of chapters or slides skipped from playback - A custom slider behavior for when there is auto-slide (instant) and tap-slide (slide animation) - A custom text-length tracker for to dynamically change font-size for long strings - A custom screen ratio tracker to scale down the UI for small screens - Handling dynamically handle big numbers (10,000 becomes 10k etc.) - Handling translations (3 languages) - Super complex behaviour for when if some data-point is missing we don’t leave a blank space, but it is being replaced with other data point instead (so some user se A-B-C, but some will see only B-C as if A never existed without leaving blank space) - Rage click prevention Amazing experience, thanks for having me. I built a clone of the Yeezy store with Next.js. This was a fun challenge — the site has some smooth animations and feels very fast. But it was bothering me that I couldn't use the browser back button. Can we do better? So I rebuilt the site with v0 and Motion. Here's how it works: 1. When you click on a product, Motion is able to animate the original position of the product in the grid, to the zoomed in product detail page. 2. During this transition, we also shallow update the URL with the `/p/slug` route for the page. 3. If you press the back button in the navbar, or use the browser back button, or press escape — all options will take you back to the main product listing page. 4. If you reload the page while looking at a product, or someone sends you a link to a specific product, it still works! This is the best parts of a SPA and MPA mixed together. In the future, I can make this even better with View Transitions (I wasn't able to get the product animation just right, but if you can I'd love to see it!). I also took some creative liberties from the original design. The whole 1/2/3 size thing, where you needed to click the "?" to see SM/MD/LG was strange, so I just went directly to those sizes. Similarly, I prefered the more traditional style sheet/modal with the background color change, versus the full screen takeover. If you wanted to actually hook this up to Shopify now, you can swap the cart implementation with Next.js Commerce, which has all the APIs you need + optimistic writes 🔥 Should I make a video walking through the code?
