And she has no qualms in threatening the farmers saying - if they are protesting for one lakh now, they will ending spending one lakh trying to get out of the case! Before July 2024 we paid only 10% above ₹1 lakh & people stayed invested happily. Government hiked it suddenly & broke confidence. Roll back to 10% now. Raise exemption from ₹1.25 lakh to ₹2.5 lakh so small SIP guys with ₹10k-20k monthly build wealth without tax on modest gains. Foreigners pulled ₹1.6 lakh crore in 2024-25 partly due to this. Had they published data on a regular basis - as & when matters were adjudicated - had they published data per 1 lakh people basis - they wouldn’t have to release data of 29 lakh people in one go, as they have done - which is of course a heavier file. But CJI laments it’s only in Bengal that SIR is creating so much noise

Kia Syros Prices Announced - Petrol: ₹8.99 - ₹15.99 lakh - Diesel: ₹10.99 - ₹16.99 lakh I was right about the pricing, which is definitely on the higher side for the top variants, especially considering the multiple alternatives available, such as the Creta, Seltos, Virtus, Roxx, Scorpio N & 700, and even the Nexon 45 EV and Windsor, if practicality is your priority. This isn’t particularly aggressive pricing, in my opinion. It will be interesting to see how sales unfold in the coming months. The Koreans haven’t had a major success since the Carens. Their latest launches, Exter, Alcazar, and Verna, haven’t met expectations. Meanwhile, local brands are gradually eating into their market share, with Mahindra focusing on size/power/butch and Tata strategically positioning their cars and variants. The Syros is a crucial model for them moving forward, as the Hyundai Group is currently heavily reliant on the Creta, Seltos, Venue, Sonet, and Carens to maintain consistent sales numbers.
