Zero soldering. One PCB. iPod classic 5th gen Bluetooth, SSD and battery mod. This is v0.1, I have a lot to tweak but it works. I just tested, the Bluetooth distance is about 5m with the original back, it's +20m without the metal back (it blocks the antenna)

Uhh any guesses on what you might charge for this? Because current Bluetooth options aside from full DIY range from permanently-out-of-stock to like $300

Nah nothing close to that, at the very most $100usd but likely lower than that

Doesn't need one, I programmed it to reconnect to the last device it was connected to. If no device is connected it finds the closest audio device in pairing mode
