Impeccable 3.7 brings linting to design. Until now it was a skill you asked for help. Now it's a design-system-aware feedback loop that runs while your agent builds, catching slop and design drift before they land. 🪝 Design hooks for Claude, Codex, and Cursor They run after every UI edit and quietly nudge your agent to fix slop and drift. The output isn't another wall of lint: it separates new findings from already-seen ones, flags clean scans, and asks the agent to use judgment. Fix real issues, leave intentional demos alone, save exceptions to config instead of littering your source. 🎨 Slop detection is now project-aware Reads your actual design system from DESIGN.md, your typography, palette, radius scale, and tokens, and flags drift from your system, not just generic AI slop: • this font isn't in your design system • this color is outside your documented palette • this radius doesn't match your rounded scale The same engine powers both the hooks and the CLI, and it's where we're investing next. 🖥️ Live Mode, ready for real projects Svelte/SvelteKit now preview variants as temporary framework components with live params, then accept cleanly back into your source component. Manual text edits got evidence / apply / discard routes, insertions preserve their anchors, and mapped lists and JSX slots clean up far more reliably. ⚡ Leaner core, sharper detector Rule-level evals across 3 providers and 4 niches cut guidance with no measurable lift and dropped examples that taught models bad patterns. The detector now skips hidden and screen-reader-only elements, understands OKLCH alpha and Sass-like inputs, and tightened checks for repeated kickers, oversized H1s, clipped overflow, and cramped padding. 🛠️ CLI caught up impeccable detect loads DESIGN.md by default, motion findings name the exact token or cubic-bezier instead of just "bounce," and impeccable ignores gives real CRUD for exceptions. Hooks and CLI share the same ignores. No split-brain config. Plus a much-improved interactive installer with hooks setup built in. Upgrade: npx impeccable install npm i -g impeccable

over the weekend, i built an app that i sincerely hope you will never have a need for, but if you do happen to need a friendly, free, private mri viewer designed to make it easy for you to track tumor progression, you can try it here: here's the story: as some of you may know, last last september, my six year old daughter mira was diagnosed with an extremely rare brain tumor called an adamatinomatous craniopharyngioma, and since then our family has been doing everything we can possibly do to find a cure for her. we tortured chatgpt deep research, put together our own private research team, raised $1.4M and donated it all to Hankinson-Mitra Lab research thanks to $MIRA, explored every remotely applicable drug whether on the market or not, and even began working with md anderson to develop a personalized vaccine that we hope can lead to a more permanent cure unfortunately, we received the devastating news last march that the tumor has continued to grow since her initial surgery, and we had to start to consider more drastic options which would have seriously impacted mira’s quality of life. thankfully, with the help of dr. sabine mueller UCSF Benioff SF and the Hankinson-Mitra Lab at the university of colorado, in april, we started her on an alternative but extremely experimental treatment for this disease. to our unimaginable relief, her tumor has responded extraordinarily well to this treatment which combines tocilizumab (an arthritis drug that blocks IL6 receptors) with avastin (a colon cancer drug that inhibhits VEGF proteins). we know this, because mira gets an MRI scan of her brain every few months. and every time we get a new scan, the first thing we do is compare it against her last scan. so we have to find the matching weight of the scan, and then find the same plane, and then carefully find the slices of the scan where the tumor is visible, and then find the closest match to last month’s scan, then adjust the zoom, rotation, and brightness / contrast so they all look the same. we got pretty good at this. but it shouldn't be this hard. so i built last weekend using gemini 3 with some gpt 5.2 xhigh. you just import your DICOM MRI files (either zip, files or a folder), and you can align all of your scans across multiple dates instantly, just click and drag a rectangle around the tumor on any image, and it will use some very clever algorithms to automatically align up and find the closest matching slice from all your other scans, match the brightness / contrast, rotation, pan, zoom, and even shear to make sure the registration is as close as possible, and make it as easy to possible to compare tumor progression. it has a grid view so you can see all your scans for the same location all at once, and an overlay view so you can quickly compare two scans visually (by holding down the space bar to toggle quickly between two scans), along with tools to animate your scans both within the same sequence as well as over multiple scans to show progression. there is no server, it runs entirely locally on your browser - nothing ever gets uploaded and it's all open source: if you've found this useful, please consider a donation to the UCSF Benioff SF hospital foundation, who has given us extraordinary care over the past year or so:

This will be a long read, but I truly hope it inspires someone. I only wish I had kept more memories honestly… Today marks one year since I moved into my own home after squatting with a family friend for two years. That period remains one of the greatest favors I have ever received in my life. They didn’t take me in as a stranger they welcomed me as a daughter, treated me as one, and even now, here in Abuja, they are my family. Today, I live in a solid two-bedroom flat in Abuja, fully furnished to my taste. I’m living a life I once only prayed for, eating well, living well all courtesy of design and Web3. This same skill once earned me ₦2,000… ₦5,000. I can never forget messaging almost every contact on my WhatsApp, begging them to let me design for free. I went from business to business around my school area, offering free designs. I even designed my school handbook for free just to put myself out there. With this same skill, I met people I once admired from afar. I was willing to design for free just to earn a tag, a shout-out, and the visibility I desperately needed. There were times I slept in school just to use the school Wi-Fi to watch YouTube tutorials, especially from Mez Graphics. Sleeping in school became a lifestyle and it came at a cost. My health suffered deeply. I went through serious health crises because I couldn’t afford medication. Home was tough. Really tough. While others slept like humans, for four years in school I averaged two hours of sleep daily, juggling academics and survival. My health paid the price. I developed growths in both eyes that now require surgery, and my eyesight deteriorated so badly that I can’t function without my glasses. Yet today, this same skill has elevated my family. From living in a single room with five kids in a rented apartment, to my mum bring a landlord. A woman who used to fall sick frequently now lives healthier, eats whatever she wants, and glows differently. Poverty truly stinks but grace changed our story. The store she owns today? Courtesy of this skill and Web3. Every property I own my store, my home, everything came through design and Web3. This same skill funds my lifestyle. This same skill, backed by God, has elevated me beyond words. I could go on and on… This is me telling someone inspiring someone not to give up on that skill you have, no matter what it is, especially as a creative. I slept on YouTube for years because I couldn’t afford to pay for a single course. I used that knowledge to design for free sometimes for one, two, even three years just to build visibility. Today, I invest as much as ₦2 million yearly into learning., i invest heavily ngl If all you can afford right now is YouTube, be diligent with it. Mez Graphics and Caesar played huge roles in my journey, and I truly hope they see this. I am 100% grateful to them. In a nutshell: don’t give up on your skill. Keep refining it. Keep studying. Keep aspiring to be part of the top 1%. See you at the top If you read this far, thank you so much for reading 🫂

Are you safer with LIDAR, or are you safer with vision? This is a false dichotomy. The more pertinent question today is "do you have something, or do you have nothing?" As you can see from the clips below, vision based systems avoid countless potential collisions every day. The difference between a crash and no crash isn't what sensor suite you chose — it's whether you have any AI on your car at all. Even if we concede that LIDAR may help prevent some additional crashes, we are really debating whether it is 1% of crashes or 0.00001% of crashes. Not all crashes are super complex and require lasers to detect. Most are simple, routine, and can easily be prevented by today's vision based AI. In fact, evidence is mounting that computer vision based systems can actually outperform more traditional approaches to self-driving. Why? Because the low cost of cameras enables you to create a much larger, more varied, and more diverse dataset. If you want to have expensive custom cars that's fine, but you're going to get fewer vehicles for the same budget. Seeing what's in front of you now is actually less important than predicting what's going to happen next — and the large scale datasets used to train pure vision systems are the best for predicting what's next. Counter-intuitively, the simpler and lower cost sensor actually has properties that make it better suited for training advanced AI. Computer vision based self-driving is often framed by LIDAR proponents as "cheaping out" on the sensor suite to save money. But it's not about being cheap, it's about bringing the technology to everyone. 1.2 million people die on the road every year around the world. That's around 39 million people who've died on the roads around the world since I was born — equivalent to a city the size of Tokyo or New Delhi getting wiped off the map. The status quo is simply unacceptable, and something has to be done to fix it as soon as possible. Of the 1.2 million people that will die on the roads this year, about 40,000 will be Americans. That's about 3%. So if we moved entirely to self-driving cars in America and brought crashes down to 0, 97% of the world's crash fatalities would still be taking place as usual. Deploying a $200,000+ retrofitted self-driving car may work in a few American cities, but it is not going to make sense in most places around the world where fares are much cheaper. Most often, the choice is not between LIDAR and vision. It's between vision or nothing. The best system is the system that's there running on my car when I need it to save my life. To say that all self-driving cars must have LIDAR is to sentence most of the world to death. We can't write off computer vision if we want to make a serious dent in this problem. It's going to be a key piece of the solution. Let LIDAR based players build the best self-driving car they can, and let vision based players do the same. We need to be trying everything

Some news: after four wonderful years at UC Berkeley Haas, I'm heading to Columbia Business School this fall as an assistant professor in the Decision, Risk, and Operations Division. I'm incredibly excited to be joining a division full of brilliant colleagues studying marketplace design, online platforms, business analytics, and data-driven decision-making -- topics that perfectly complement my own research. And I can't wait to re-embrace NYC life – pizza at all hours of the day, grimy music venues in Bushwick, and a robust public transit system! At the same time, I'm also sad to be leaving Berkeley. Haas has been the perfect place to launch my academic career. The brilliant colleagues, engaged students, and collaborative atmosphere here have helped me grow as both a researcher and teacher over the past four years. I'll also deeply miss the Bay Area's amazing nature and weather, as well as its unique blend of innovation and idealism. When I joined Haas, I announced it with a cameo from Chris Diamantopoulos (AKA Silicon Valley's Russ Hanneman). I considered doing the same now—maybe getting Eric Adams, Jalen Brunson or James Murphy for a proper NYC welcome—but the timing feels off. As excited as I am about my new job, this career move comes at a complex time when universities across the US, including Columbia, are navigating challenging tensions between government pressures and academic independence. I believe in the importance of maintaining both institutional autonomy and protecting all members of our academic communities. Despite the challenges at hand, I remain hopeful about Columbia's future and its enduring mission. As Columbia's motto reminds us, "in lumine tuo videbimus lumen" — "In your light we shall see light" — suggesting that through education and collective wisdom, we find illumination and a path forward. I'm excited to join this historic institution during a pivotal moment and to contribute to Columbia's long tradition of creating positive change through knowledge and research. See you in New York! 🗽

Show these videos to most Westerners and they could never believe this exists in China 🤯 China has some of the best restaurants in the world. International and local chefs are constantly coming up with new concepts, unique menus, and creative decorations 🥘 While China’s economy isn’t as strong as before, deflation has kept food prices down and every night in the city I go out and see restaurants filled with people 🍲 Most people think China is cut off from the outside world. Instead when you visit China you’ll see China is learning and becoming more modern and international 🌎 There are now more high end coffee shops in Shanghai than NYC and London combined. Bakeries filled with artisan breads and pastries are all over China now showing foreign tastes have been developed on mass scale in China ☕️ China is opening up. Dozens of EU countries can now travel to China visa free. Yesterday New Zealand was added to the list. Foreigner visits to China is up 305% in Q1 2024, when measures from the same period last year ✈️ More foreigners are coming to China and it’s a great thing. The world needs to learn more about China. This country is simply amazing and truly changing the future of the world 🇨🇳 Come here to see a nation who is embracing their commitments to producing clean energy. It’s simply incredible how much of the auto industry is now dominated by EVs 🚗 Visiting China is taking a step in the future. Such an absolute pleasure to be back in the country for an extended stay 😃

Softmax vs Sigmoid ✍️ Interact 👉 = Softmax = Softmax is how deep networks turn raw scores into a probability distribution — the final layer of every classifier, and the core of every attention head in a transformer. To see what it does, picture five boba tea shops on the same block, all competing for your dollar. Five candidates: a, b, c, d, e — different chains, different brewing styles, different pearls. A boba reviewer hands you a 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘴𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘦 for each — higher means perfectly chewy "QQ" pearls with the right bite (ask a Taiwanese friend to find out what QQ means). Negative scores are real: mushy bobas, overcooked pearls, a batch left sitting too long. How do you turn five chewiness scores into an allocation that adds to a whole dollar? You could spend everything at the chewiest shop, but that ignores how good the runners-up are. Softmax is the smooth alternative. Read the diagram left to right. First, raise each score to e^{x} — this does two things: it turns negative chewiness into small positives, and it stretches the gaps between scores exponentially. Then sum all five into a single total Z. Finally, divide each e^{x} by Z to get a probability. The five probabilities add up to one, so you can read them as percentages of your dollar. The chewiest shop gets the biggest slice — but never the whole dollar. That's the point of softmax: it ranks confidently while still leaving room for the others. = Sigmoid = Sigmoid squashes any real number into a probability between 0 and 1 — the classic activation for binary classification, and still the gating function inside LSTMs and GRUs. Same boba block as the previous Softmax example, narrowed to just two contenders — a hot new shop `a` with chewiness score x, and your usual go-to `b` whose score is pinned at zero (the neutral baseline you've come to expect). Sigmoid is just softmax with two players, one of them pinned to zero. Read the diagram left to right. First, raise each score to e^{x} — for the usual shop `b` whose score is zero, this is just e^0 = 1 (the constant baseline). Then sum the two into a total Z. Finally, divide each e^{x} by Z to get a probability. The two probabilities add up to one — the new shop wins more of your dollar when its pearls get chewier, and your usual keeps the rest. That's the point of sigmoid: it turns a single chewiness score into a clean 0-to-1 chance you'll try the new place over your usual. --- AI Math, Algorithms, Architectures by hand ✍️ Subscribe to my 60K+ reader newsletter 👉

🚨 $1 TRILLION OPENAI IPO IS COMING BEFORE ANTHROPIC!! Two of the most hyped companies in history are racing to go public. - Both burning BILLIONS. - NOT profitable at all right now. - Valued at TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS. Let's talk about what you're actually buying: OpenAI current valuation: $852,000,000,000 Revenue: $24,000,000,000 per year Losses: growing faster than revenue Anthropic current valuation: $965,000,000,000 Revenue: $47,000,000,000 per year Losses: billions every single quarter Combined, they're valued at over $1,817,000,000,000. They haven't had a single profitable year between them. OpenAI needs to justify its valuation by growing revenue 75x from here. For Anthropic, the math is even worse. It would need a market cap larger than global GDP to match Google's returns. Now think about the timing. The SpaceX IPO just opened the floodgates, and institutional capital is stretched thin. Two more TRILLION DOLLAR offerings hitting the same market. Competing for the same capital at the same time. Google was profitable at IPO. Amazon was growing at insane rates at IPO. Neither asked you to fund a company losing money at this scale. The early investors got in at $5B, $10B, $20B. They need public markets at $300B-$965B to make their returns real. You're not buying the future of AI. You're buying the exit for the people who built it. This sounds SCARY, but I'll keep you updated on everything here. When I rotate money, I will post my moves here so my FOLLOWERS can SAVE their money. Follow me and turn NOTIFICATIONS ON, as I will share my strategy soon. Many will regret not following me earlier...

The future of footwear may not be manufactured in bulk. It may be fabricated around you. That is what makes this shift so interesting to me. 3D-printed footwear is moving from novelty to a real industrial model, with market forecasts pointing to rapid growth over the next decade. At the same time, brands and manufacturers are using additive manufacturing, digital design, and custom-fit workflows to shorten development cycles and make more personalized products viable. What is new here is not just the printer. It is the system around it: → scan the foot → model the fit digitally → print the part on demand → produce closer to the customer That matters. Because once footwear becomes data-driven and locally fabricated, several things change fast: → fit gets more personal → prototyping gets faster → waste drops because you do not overproduce → inventory pressure falls because you do not need to guess demand the same way To me, that is the bigger signal. This is not just about a better sneaker. It is about a different manufacturing logic. Formlabs notes that 3D printing already enables customized orthotics with better biomechanical precision, lower material waste, and simpler digital workflows. McKinsey has also pointed to digitization and 3D design as a way to shorten design cycles and reduce sampling iterations in apparel and footwear. And once that logic matures, the use cases get much bigger: → custom athletic footwear built from gait and pressure data → hospitals producing orthotics faster and closer to the patient → micro-factories making products on demand instead of stocking shelves → footwear designed for one body, not an average body That is why I think this matters now. The question is no longer whether personalized fabrication is possible. It is whether brands move fast enough before customers start expecting every product to fit like it was made only for them. Would you actually wear a shoe fabricated around your own biometric data? #AI #3DPrinting #Footwear #Manufacturing #Innovation #FutureOfWork #RetailTech #Customization #Technology

Two years ago one guy won $579K on sports betting and wrote a detailed thread about how he did it. His model was completely public: formulas entry logic match selection criteria. Hundreds of people copied the approach and started trading using his system. 3 months later the edge completely disappeared bookmakers adapted lines started moving faster windows closed. Everyone who copied lost their deposits. He himself hasn't shown his profile to anyone since and doesn't write publicly about his bets. This is a standard story in the world of sports betting: any advantage dies the moment the crowd finds out about it. Yesterday I found a wallet that contradicts everything I know about this market. > $4M+ in pure profit in 14 days. This wallet doesn't know how to lose: The profile is completely public every position every entry every exit visible to anyone with internet. He absolutely doesn't care that you're watching. The first thing that catches your eye when you open the stats the numbers just don't match reality. The most profitable sports models in the world the ones that feed professional syndicates in Vegas give 54-57% accuracy. That's the ceiling. That's the edge. That's enough to live off betting for decades. > This wallet has 1207 closed positions in two weeks of trading. I scrolled through every one. Won. Won. Won. Won. Won. Scroll further. Won. Won. Won. Won. All the way to the end of the list. > Zero losses. Not 90%. Not 99%. Zero. This is not betting in the sense we understand the word betting by definition assumes you sometimes lose. Then what am I even looking at? I open his largest closed trade to understand the scale. > Bills vs. Jaguars NFL playoff final. > Entry: $1.13M. Exit: $2.45M+. > Pure profit of $1.32M+ from one football game. And the most interesting part this wasn't even a simple bet on the winner where you just need to guess who wins. This was point spread: Bills -3.5. To take the money he needed Bills to not just win but win by at least four points. Not guess the match outcome guess by exactly what margin the game ends. And he bet over a million dollars on it. I scroll through the rest of the closed positions and see the same pattern. > Packers vs. Bears invested $781K took $1.79M+ pure profit over a million. > Stade Rennais FC 1901 invested $602K took $1.56M+ pure profit $964K. > Patriots spread -3.5 invested $600K took $1.27M+ pure profit $675K. > Rams spread -3.5 invested $613K took $1.25M pure profit $641K. Every position hundreds of thousands of dollars on the line. Every one closed in profit. I start looking for any pattern in his match selection trying to understand the logic. > NFL American football. > NBA basketball. > NHL hockey. > Premier League English football. > Bundesliga German football. > La Liga Spanish football. > Ligue 1 French football. > Serie A Italian football. He doesn't focus on one league and doesn't specialize in one sport. This completely kills the insider information theory it's physically impossible to have reliable sources simultaneously in all professional leagues in the world. I look at the timing of his entries when exactly he opens positions relative to match start. > Average entry price in his positions: 35-50 cents per share. > Price of the same positions at match start: 70-85 cents. He consistently enters when the price is still low hours sometimes a day before the main mass of players starts loading money in the same direction. Two possible explanations. 1. He somehow knows match results in advance. 2. He sees something in publicly available data that hundreds of thousands of other people looking at the same matches don't see. I can't think of a third option. > The fattest win in the wallet's history: $1.32M+ pure profit from one position. That's more than most people will earn in their entire lives. He did it in three hours while a football game was on. I look at current open positions he didn't stop and didn't withdraw the money. > Right now he has $4.2 million in active bets. And all of them are already in profit even before closing. > Spread: Indiana -7.5 entered at 50 cents now price 100 cents profit +100%. > Sharks vs. Lightning entered at 73 cents now price 100 cents profit +37%. > Wild vs. Maple Leafs entered at 50 cents now price 100 cents profit +100%. > Tottenham win entered at 35 cents now price 100 cents profit +185%. The catastrophic flooding predating KP, GB & AJK is obviously triggered by global #climatechange, which is fuelled by rising emissions and warming, but equally so by local institutional indifference to building real resilience for communities and society. The mega monsoon of 2025 has already claimed over 300 lives—most in KP—triggering landslides that wiped out villages, hampering rescue efforts with helicopter crashes, mass displacements. Why is this happening? • Forests everywhere are a shield against excess flooding, both in reducing bare-ground heating as well as for blunting climate shock and slowing water cascades. Deforestation in Pakistan is driven by illegal logging, wildfires, and the conversion of forest land for agriculture, commercial development, and mushrooming housing schemes. How much timber is lost to mafias in KP and the north ? Pakistan has the highest deforestation rate in South Asia and only retains 5 % forest 🌳 cover. In the last 33 years, Pakistan’s forest cover has alarmingly shrunk by 18%, falling from 3.78 million hectares in 1992 to a mere 3.09 million hectares in 2025. This devastating loss is most acute in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s districts like Swat, Chitral, Dir, Kohistan, and Shangla, where the illegal timber mafia relentlessly exploits ancient pine and deodar forests despite government bans imposed since 2002 and 2017. Large swathes of the "Million Tree Tsunami" disappeared in a sea of local graft, with saplings struggling to survive rapacious officials, flooding, neglect and poor audits. Locals report that 30 to 40% of Swat’s forests have already been destroyed, with the potential for up to 70% loss if this continues unchecked. The timber mafias operate with impunity where they "sanitise" local timber as coming in from Afghanistan. Each year, Pakistan loses approximately 27,000 hectares of forest, a critical natural defense that once protected communities from floods, heatwaves, and droughts. • Systemic failures on early warning have worsened the impact: Pakistan received $188 million from the World Bank for modernizing weather forecasting and establishing a disaster response system. Yet, unlike Bangladesh and Nepal, Pakistan failed to implement this vital infrastructure and by 2022 when the loan grant was saved from reversion at PMD it had to be repurposed for emergency cash transfers via the Benazir Income Support Programme for saving lives. Climate finance remains a source of inaction even in places where the commitment is available. • Unchecked urban development on riverbeds and green areas has destroyed natural shields for disaster reduction. From the Margallahs to KP, this march of "development" continues to cut through parks, green zones and what used to be protected areas. Graft and greed have led to land use rules being changed overnight, while permissions for building on floodplains, natural storm drains and channels for water flow have added to the devastation of areas and communities that could have been protected. • Melting glaciers, intensified floods, erratic rainfall now imperil Pakistan’s economy, food security, and very survival. Adaptation plans for national action & provinces remain paper documents referenced to elicit donor funding, or to activate delayed inputs. Plastic pollution continues to block drains and storm water exits in a country where there is no public literacy on pollution, and the role played by non biodegradable plastics in aiding monsoon flooding. Disaster management remains reactive and deployed in crisis, while today it faces overstretch at all points when faced with ferocity of extreme weather. To avoid deeper catastrophe, Pakistan must urgently seek more climate financing but build credibility too. It must locally embrace afforestation, resilient infrastructure, planning processes that actually mainstream climate action as policy not theory, reduce river & drain pollution, build empowered EPAs, support renewable energy. #ClimateActionNow
