UAE-Backed Rapid Support Militia (Janjaweed) Circulates New Video Humiliating Civilians The UAE-backed Rapid Support Militia (Janjaweed) circulated a new video this morning showing its fighters insulting and humiliating a large group of unarmed civilians, forcing them to sit on the ground while being made to chant slogans under threat. The militiamen can be heard shouting racist and degrading insults, calling the victims “slaves,” and boasting about entering areas that once belonged to the Sudanese Armed Forces’ 6th Infantry Division. It is still unclear what happened to these civilians after the video was recorded, raising serious fears that they may have been tortured or executed by the militia. This footage reflects the militia’s deeply rooted culture of violence and humiliation, a scene that has been repeated in every city or village it has entered across Darfur and beyond. It also explains why El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur, has stood firm for more than 550 days, because its people know that wherever the Rapid Support Militia (Janjaweed) advances, it tortures, humiliates, and terrorizes the residents of that land. According to military sources, the Sudanese Armed Forces confirmed that some units had tactically repositioned from limited areas around the city while continuing to engage the enemy on other fronts and maintain defensive lines to protect civilians under extremely difficult humanitarian conditions. Meanwhile, the militia released new footage this morning from inside the army garrison in El Fasher in an attempt to create a false image of victory and instill fear among the population. At the same time, hundreds of civilians fled the city toward the Golo area in search of safety, before the terrorist militia deployed a force from the north and surrounded them in the open desert, where gunfire was later heard. This new display of brutality and false propaganda once again exposes the true nature of the UAE-backed Rapid Support Militia (Janjaweed). It is a terrorist organization that thrives on spreading fear and humiliation, targeting innocent people to intimidate and subdue them. Despite this, the protection of civilians remains an urgent priority and a moral responsibility for the entire international community in the face of the ongoing atrocities in Darfur. #Sudan #RSFisTerroristOrganization #UAEKillsSudanesePeople #UAESponsorsTerrorism

Its origins date back to 1925, when the Sudan Defence Force was established more than a century ago. In 1954, its leadership was fully Sudanized, making it the first national institution to be run entirely by Sudanese hands and paving the way for the country’s independence. This year’s anniversary comes amid a series of successive victories over the rebel Rapid Support Militia (Janjaweed) across multiple fronts, alongside strengthened security and protection for civilians throughout the liberated states. #السودان #القوات_المسلحة_السودانية #عيد_الجيش_الذكرى72 #غداً_نعود_حتماً_نعود #حرب_الكرامة #RapidSupportIsTerroristMilitia

Joint Force of the Armed Struggle Movements ⭕ Press Release ⭕ Following up on our statement issued on August 2, 2025, regarding the heroic stand by the Armed Forces, the Joint Force, and the Popular Resistance in repelling the treacherous assault launched by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on the city of El Fasher, we wish to affirm newly obtained and significant information concerning the nature of this attack. The recent battle revealed a striking and unprecedented involvement of mercenaries of various nationalities fighting alongside the RSF . Confirmed reports indicate the participation of mercenaries from South Sudan, Chad, Ethiopia, and Kenya, in addition to more than 80 mercenaries from the Republic of Colombia. Several Colombian mercenaries involved in drone operations and artillery coordination were killed. The RSF —long known for its brutal practices—has resorted to recruiting foreign mercenaries as a result of its failure to confront the Sudanese Armed Forces, the joint forces of the armed struggle movements, and the popular resistance on the ground. Even more alarming is the RSF’s collaboration with Abdulaziz al-Hilu’s militias in a paid deal, under which they were tasked with targeting anyone attempting to leave the city of El Fasher, including women, children, and the elderly, an egregious violation of all humanitarian laws. We urge the governments of the countries whose nationals are involved as mercenaries to uphold their moral and legal responsibilities by engaging immediately with Sudanese authorities to halt this grave situation —one that risks implicating them in war crimes and crimes against humanity committed against unarmed Sudanese civilians. To the proud people of Sudan: It has become clear that a conspiracy is being plotted against our homeland, one led by forces seeking to seize our resources, displace our people, and replace them with armies of outsiders. This is a defining moment in our nation’s history, one that calls on all of us to rise above our differences, unite behind our armed forces and national leadership, and reject all forms of hatred, racism, and tribalism. Our country is in grave danger, and confronting this threat is a sacred national duty. What is happening in Sudan -and in the city of El Fasher in particular- is not merely an assault by the Janjaweed militia, but a calculated attempt to bring down Sudan as a state, through alliances that turn war into a commodity and make the people its victims. This Is Not a Film About 19th-Century Slavery... It’s a Crime Happening Now at the Hands of the UAE-Backed Rapid Support Militia A horrifying video has emerged showing members of the UAE-backed Rapid Support Militia (Janjaweed) torturing a man who appears to be a civilian, suspected of being affiliated with the Sudanese Armed Forces or Joint Forces. In the footage, the militia stops a pickup truck and forces the driver to park it directly on the victim’s chest — a brutal method clearly intended to inflict maximum pain. Despite the man's visible agony, the assailants continue shouting humiliating commands at him. “Say the Rapid Support Militia are brave... say they defeated you... say the army is weak,” they demand, turning the man’s suffering into a spectacle of degradation. This is not a movie trying to tell us about slavery in the old days. This is reality — happening now — carried out by a militia that uses humiliation and cruelty as a weapon of war, under the watch of the international community. What we saw in this video is not a dramatic scene — it’s a real crime being committed against unarmed civilians, simply because they are suspected of supporting the army or refusing to submit. Slavery has returned in a new form — a militia parking vehicles on people’s chests and forcing them to praise their oppressors. The video is yet another piece of evidence of the systematic brutality practiced by the Janjaweed militia against civilians in Sudan, with complete impunity. It exposes the militia’s mentality of terror and public humiliation toward anyone suspected of supporting the national army — a deliberate effort to crush morale and spread fear among the population. #Sudan #RSFisTerroristOrganization #UAEKillsSudanesePeople #UAESponsorsTerrorism

Statement by Joint Force of the Armed Movement Joint Forces of the Armed Struggle Movements Military Statement To the proud masses of our people, In light of the repeated conspiracies targeting the security and safety of our homeland, the intelligence of the Joint Forces of Armed Struggle Movements, in coordination with the Sudanese Military Intelligence Authority , has been monitoring hostile activities aimed at smuggling unprecedented dangerous weapons into Sudan. These weapons were intended to be transported from a European country through Chad to Darfur, specifically to the city of El Fasher, with the goal of seizing the city using devastating arms. To the proud masses of our people, Thanks to precise intelligence monitoring from both across borders and within the country, the Special Operations Forces of the Joint Forces, in coordination with the Sudanese Army, succeeded in thwarting the delivery of these dangerous weapons. A meticulously planned military operation was carried out in the X area near Nyala at 3:00 AM on Sunday, December 1, 2024. Outcomes of the operation: •Seizure of 3 large drones capable of carrying four air-to-surface missiles each. •Seizure of 6 smaller drones capable of carrying two air-to-surface missiles each. •Elimination of over 30 mercenaries from the Rapid Support Forces militia. •Destruction of 8 military vehicles. Details of the seized weapons: The weapons included drones of the Danger Propellers model, bearing the serial number J/DF24-23-01-043A, manufactured by Woodcomp Propellers in the Czech Republic, Central Europe. These drones were modified for military purposes. Their entry into Sudan marks an unprecedented event, facilitated and funded by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and coordinated with Chad to ensure their passage. Message to the UAE: You must understand that we are tracking all your steps from the western and northern borders. Your plans will fail no matter how much effort and conspiracy you invest. Cease tampering with our land and security. Know that you are wasting your people’s wealth on a doomed project, and defeat will be your fate in Sudan. We will remain steadfast, determined to eliminate all your regional and international mercenaries and seize your weapons, no matter their cost. We also thank you for your generosity in delivering these sophisticated weapons, valued at millions, which are now in our hands. We will use them to further your defeat. Message to the Chadian regime: The Sudanese and Chadian peoples are bound by ties of blood, history, and shared destiny. Your support for the Rapid Support Forces militia with weapons and supplies, and your facilitation of their passage through your territory, is an act of betrayal that history will not forgive. Your facilitation of these weapons and your support for the militia is a stain of shame, and you will pay a heavy price if you do not stop this recklessness. To the Sudanese people: This exceptional military achievement reflects the readiness of our forces to confront all conspiracies targeting the security and safety of our homeland. We renew our pledge to you to remain vigilant and steadfast, with our hands on the trigger, protecting the lives of our people and the resources of our nation from any external or internal threats until we achieve full liberation. Glory and immortality to our righteous martyrs. Shame and disgrace to the enemies of the homeland. Captured Joint Force Fighter Forced to Carry a Rapid Support Militia Member Like a Pack Animal and Mocked Over El Fasher’s Starvation, Exposing the Janjaweed Mentality Armed by the UAE A widely circulated video reveals the degrading treatment of captives by the UAE-backed Rapid Support Militia. The footage shows a captured fighter from Sudan’s Joint Force, an alliance of Darfur armed movements fighting alongside the Sudanese army, being forced to carry a militia member on his back while others surround him, laugh and shout commands normally directed at donkeys and camels. “Turn the donkey around,” one man says. They then order the captive to lower the man riding on his back before another militia member asks to be carried. The fighters command him to kneel as they would command a camel, hurl degrading insults at him and mockingly ask: “How have you found the treatment?” The video ends with one of them swearing that they will chain the captives “one by one”. The militia members also use the word “ambaz” to humiliate him, with one saying: “These are people who eat ambaz.” Ambaz is the residue left after groundnuts are pressed for oil and is primarily used as animal feed. Civilians trapped in besieged El Fasher were forced to eat it after the militia cut the city’s food and supply routes. The men in the video turn the starvation they inflicted into another weapon of humiliation, describing a starving person as an animal and treating him accordingly. The footage documents the deliberate degradation of a captive and the denial of his human dignity, conduct prohibited under international humanitarian law. It also exposes a culture of supremacy within the militia, one that regards certain Sudanese communities as inferior and uses ethnic abuse, starvation and violence to subjugate them. It is the same Janjaweed mentality associated with identity-based killings across Darfur. Sudanese people have endured the consequences of this mentality across entire cities and states. In Khartoum, the Rapid Support Militia occupied and looted homes, converted civilian buildings into detention and torture sites, and committed widespread killings, sexual violence and other abuses against the population. In Gezira State, it attacked villages, killed civilians, looted homes and crops, and forced hundreds of thousands to flee. In El Geneina, the militia and its allies carried out an ethnic-cleansing campaign against the Masalit and other non-Arab communities, involving mass killings, rape, torture, the burning of neighbourhoods and forced displacement. El Fasher then endured a prolonged siege in which starvation, shelling and drone attacks were used to terrorise its population. After the city fell, civilians, captives, wounded people and those attempting to escape were subjected to widespread killings. The UN Independent International Fact-Finding Mission for Sudan concluded that the crimes committed by the militia in El Fasher bore the hallmarks of genocide. The danger posed by this ideology becomes even greater when the UAE supplies its adherents with sophisticated weapons, long-range drones, guided bombs and heavy artillery. Over the course of the war, hundreds of reports, investigations, documented materials and official statements have traced weapons, drones, foreign mercenaries and Emirati supply networks supporting the militia. This foreign sponsorship has given a group steeped in humiliation and identity-based violence the military capacity to besiege cities, starve their inhabitants, attack hospitals and civilian infrastructure, pursue fleeing civilians and expand the scale of its crimes. This video offers a concentrated image of what Emirati support has meant for Sudanese people: a human being degraded and treated as an animal, a city deliberately starved and its residents’ hunger turned into a source of mockery, and a Janjaweed militia equipped with modern military technology to continue what it inflicted on Khartoum, Gezira, El Geneina and El Fasher. This is the price Sudan continues to pay for the arming of the Janjaweed. This is precisely why any agreement that preserves the militia or grants it political or military legitimacy is unacceptable to the Sudanese people. A group responsible for such crimes, sustained by foreign weapons and supply networks, will remain a permanent threat to Sudan and its population. Any genuine peace must dismantle and disarm the militia, terminate its financing and supply networks, and hold those responsible for its crimes accountable, allowing Sudanese people to reclaim their state, their security and their right to justice. #Sudan #RSFisTerroristOrganization #UAEKillsSudanesePeople #UAESponsorsTerrorism

A Circulated Video as Further Evidence of the Terrorist Nature of the Rapid Support Militia, and Why What Is Happening in Sudan Is Not a Civil War A recently circulated video has spread widely across Sudanese social media platforms, adding to an accumulating body of evidence documenting the violence and threats endured by Sudanese civilians for more than three years at the hands of the Rapid Support Militia (Janjaweed), which is backed by the United Arab Emirates. The footage shows three individuals. One of them, wearing the uniform of the Rapid Support Militia, is speaking to a well-known figure within the militia known by the nickname “Yajooj and Majooj.” This exchange is marked by explicit threats directed at the city of Omdurman. It begins with repeated statements about their intention to “enter on asphalt,” accompanied by assertions that they will not back down, followed by talk of “returning” to Omdurman as they had entered it before. This rhetoric, with its direct threats against civilians, clearly reflects the terrorist mindset prevailing within the militia. Within this exchange, the speaker addresses the people of Omdurman directly, stating that they have heard that residents “have gained weight, put on fat, rebuilt the city, and made it flourish again.” This statement constitutes an explicit admission that the Rapid Support Militia had previously destroyed the city, and that subsequent recovery came as a result of civilians returning and rebuilding after liberation by the Sudanese Armed Forces. This admission is immediately weaponized within a provocative threat, through the claim that the militia withdrew and deliberately allowed residents to “grow their feathers,” in preparation for returning to cut those feathers. It is widely known that the Rapid Support Militia left Khartoum and Omdurman after suffering a crushing defeat at the hands of the Sudanese Armed Forces. Nevertheless, this rhetoric is used to terrorize civilians, by threatening return, destruction, and revenge, and by transforming a military withdrawal into a tool of psychological intimidation directed at the population. The discourse then escalates to an even more explicit and dangerous level, as Yajooj and Majooj openly embraces looting, stating, “If you call us shafshafa, then we are shafshafa.” The term shafshafa is a colloquial expression referring to thugs and highway robbers who carry out violent looting outside any legal framework. This is followed by a direct threat of total destruction, as he declares that they will leave nothing behind, not even the bricks of Omdurman itself, expressing a clear intent to physically erase the city. The threats extend further to include historical and religious landmarks, with talk of removing them and taking them to Nyala. This rhetoric reflects a consistent pattern in the militia’s behavior, in which looting is presented as a deliberate choice, destruction is framed as an objective, cities are treated as spoils of war, and civilians are addressed as targets for collective punishment. These statements align with what has been documented on the ground across Sudan. Omdurman, Khartoum, Wad Madani, and large parts of Darfur have been subjected to systematic looting, arson, killings, sexual violence, and campaigns of intimidation that directly targeted civilians. What is said in this video corresponds closely with survivor testimonies, journalistic investigations, satellite imagery, and reports by humanitarian organizations. This video, along with many others, confirms that what is happening in Sudan is not a “civil war” between equal parties. Rather, it is organized violence carried out by an armed terrorist militia against civilian populations. This violence would not have reached its scale or persistence without direct external support from the authorities in Abu Dhabi, which enabled the militia to continue killing, looting, and terrorizing civilians. This support has manifested through funding, logistical assistance, the provision of weapons and mobility, as well as political and media cover, effectively prolonging the violence, turning cities into zones of systematic abuse, and forcing civilians to pay the price for this empowerment. This context further underscores that there is no moral, legal, or factual equivalence between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Militia. The former is a state institution, while the latter is built on looting, intimidation, and destruction. For Sudanese people, this video is not shocking. However, it adds yet another documented piece of evidence to a long and well-established record of violations. #Sudan #RSFisTerroristOrganization #UAEKillsSudanesePeople #UAESponsorsTerrorism
