APPEAL FOR RAMADAN FEEDING SUPPORT FOR WIDOWS AND ORPHANS Assiraj Islamic Academy 8155560533 Moniepoint MFB. Dear Beloved in Islam, As the blessed month of Ramadan 1446 is fastgoing, a time of immense mercy, forgiveness, and blessings, we humbly call upon you to extend your hands in charity to support the most vulnerable among us—our widows, orphans, and needy Muslims who struggle daily to afford even a single meal. Ramadan is a month of fasting, prayer, and generosity, where the rewards for good deeds are multiplied beyond measure. What greater act of worship than to feed the hungry and ease the burden of those in need? The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever feeds a fasting person will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the fasting person’s reward in the slightest." (Tirmidhi, 807) At Assiraj Islamic Academy, we are committed to ensuring that our less fortunate brothers and sisters experience the joy of Ramadan with dignity. Your donations will provide iftar (breakfast), suhoor (pre-dawn meal), and essential food supplies to those who would otherwise go without. Your generosity can make a difference: ₦5,000 can provide a day's meal for a widow and her children. ₦10,000 can sustain an orphan for several days. ₦50,000+ can support multiple families throughout Ramadan. We urge you to donate whatever you can. No amount is too small, and no act of kindness goes unnoticed by Allah. DONATE NOW: Assiraj Islamic Academy 8155560533 Moniepoint MFB For inquiries and further information: 📧 Email: [email protected] 📞 Call/WhatsApp: 08034554901 May Allah accept your sadaqah, multiply your rewards, and grant you a Ramadan filled with blessings, mercy, and endless barakah. Ameen. Jazakumullahu Khairan.

At the same time, the Foundation’s teams continue their work in several other shelters located in schools. The medical team provides consultations and medications in coordination with the Primary Healthcare Network of the Ministry of Public Health and with our health-sector partners. Ahead of Ramadan – Standing in Solidarity with Palestinian Communities Under Attack Against the backdrop of the ongoing horrors in the Gaza Strip over the past two years, the humanitarian crisis in the West Bank continues to deepen. We are witnessing an unprecedented escalation in settler terrorsim, alongside broad processes of ethnic cleansing carried out with the support and leadership of the government. During this period, 45 herding communities in Area C - home to more than 2,600 people - have been forcibly displaced. Thousands more have been uprooted from refugee camps that have been destroyed across the West Bank. The deliberate impoverishment and starvation of Palestinian communities is another tool in the ethnic-cleansing toolkit: denying access to grazing lands and agricultural areas, unprecedented violence during the olive harvest, and the sweeping cancellation of work permits since the beginning of the war in Gaza have all severely undermined these communities’ basic ability to sustain themselves economically. In the face of these policies, for more than two years we—together with activists and grassroots organizations—have been operating a food-aid network for Palestinian communities in Area C of the West Bank. So far, we have delivered more than 5,000 food parcels to dozens of communities throughout the West Bank. Four of the communities we supported were violently expelled from their land, and we continue to support them as much as possible in the temporary locations to which they were forced to flee. As Ramadan approaches, we invite you to join us and support this effort. Severe poverty, food insecurity, and rising prices make the special month of Ramadan an immense challenge for many families in the West Bank. In times of great darkness, preserving the tradition of family gathering and observing Ramadan with dignity and abundance carries profound meaning. As part of the current campaign, we hope to support approximately 500 families across the West Bank (in Area C) by raising 125,000 NIS. The cost of each food parcel is approximately 180 NIS. Ramadan is a month of generosity and shared responsibility. This is an opportunity for all of us to act together in the spirit of these values, and your donation will help us reach as many families and communities as possible. We are deeply grateful for every contribution, large or small. In an era when powerful forces work relentlessly to destroy any possibility of a just present and future, solidarity and joint resistance to the occupation remain the steadfast hope we must hold onto. Food prices continue to rise in Gaza. And we are not talking about meat and fresh vegetables and fruit - those are not even available. Staple foods like rice, lentils, and beans are becoming increasingly scarce, and canned goods and cheese costs are skyrocketing. This past weekend we delivered food packages for families to prepare their own Suhoor. This is the meal that is usually light, but filled with protein and nutrients to give you sustenance for the day. However, with limited variety we prepared 82 parcels of 5 cans of fava beans, a jar of jam, medium-sized halva, 1 kilogram of dates, 5 packs of feta cheese , 5 packs of triangle cheese, a box of tea, and a pack of vermicelli, for 105 shackles each. About 3 times what we would have paid for a similar package 2 weeks ago. The Sameer Project team distributed the parcels in Abu Dalal Camp, with the remaining parcels given to passersby who were surprised and elated by the random acts of assistance. As we enter the next 10 days, the holiest days for Muslims, consider how those in Gaza must feel with bombings, attacks, displacements, while fasting and breaking fast amidst famine like conditions. Yet they say, “Alhamdulillah.” The world has a lot to learn from Gaza. Support our Ramadan campaign as we help as best we can until the end of the month. Or other options include: (Paypal option, please make sure to add a message saying "Ramadan") (Venmo option, please make sure to add a message saying "Ramadan")

🚨 Urgent Humanitarian Appeal from Gaza – Ramadan Edition 🚨 In Gaza, Ramadan does not arrive with full tables or warm homes. It arrives in tents, under fear, loss, and an empty question that repeats every day: Will we eat today? Here, time is not counted by days of Ramadan, but by how long a family can survive without food. This Ramadan, we chose to stand with families in the most basic way that preserves life and dignity: food. Thanks to the generous support of: ✨ William Menaker Will 🦥 Menaker ✨ 🔥 Felix GoliathFan1952 🔥 🤍 Eyup Lovely Eyup Lovely 🤍 we were able to distribute food parcels to displaced families in Gaza — families who have been living for months under extreme hunger and food shortages. 📌 Food parcels distributed Not numbers. Not reports. But meals that reached hungry children, fasting mothers, and families who had nothing to break their fast with. Inside these tents are: •children falling asleep hungry instead of playing, •mothers dividing a single meal so everyone can eat, •families whose daily question is no longer What should we cook for iftar? but Will we have anything at all? In Gaza, hunger is not temporary. It is a daily siege. It weakens bodies, breaks strength, and turns survival into a struggle fought hour by hour. This food distribution was not just parcels. It was relief in a moment of desperation. It was dignity restored during Ramadan. And it was a clear message that these families are not alone. A food parcel became an iftar. A simple meal became survival. A moment of nourishment for families who have lost everything except patience. 🌟 A message of heartfelt gratitude This work would not have been possible without your direct support. William Menaker, Felix, and Eyup Lovely — you were not just supporters, but a direct reason families were able to eat during Ramadan. Your donations turned into food, into children who broke their fast without hunger, and into mothers who felt — even briefly — that someone remembered them in this holy month. With your support, we did not only confront hunger — we restored dignity, mercy, and hope in the heart of Ramadan. 🤍 The call now is extremely urgent Hunger is still tightening its grip on thousands of families in Gaza, and every delay means another Ramadan night without food. 👉 Your donation today can feed a fasting family 👉 Donate urgently and help us deliver food parcels to families who have no other choice Together, we confront hunger. Together, we stand with Gaza this Ramadan. Together, we choose humanity. 🌙🤍

It is always free to be kind, and today, as we reflect and celebrate this Holy Week - this Easter Sunday - we are reminded that even the smallest acts of kindness can carry the greatest impact. 💛 Through our Silong sa Payong Project, we distributed 23 AZRALPH payongs bundled with either Dear Face Beauty Milk (Melon), Beauty Bean (Mocha), or Axe Deo Spray to 23 hardworking vendors in Baclaran. We also shared additional Dear Face Beauty Milk, Beauty Bean, and Axe products to volunteers, security guards, and fellow kababayans we met along the way. In this intense heat, this simple gesture may seem small but the smiles, gratitude, and warmth we received in return meant everything. At the heart of AZRALPH is a community that believes in giving back, in showing up, and in spreading kindness wherever we can. This Easter Sunday, as we celebrate hope, renewal, and new beginnings, we hope this simple act reflects the same light and love we wish to share with others. ✨ Thank you so much to our donors and sponsors, and special thanks to Mamicakes (mamicakes), Siopao (Siopao) , Denz (d.), and Enne (enne) for volunteering and helping us distribute. This wouldn’t have been possible without everyone’s contributions and efforts. May this inspire more kindness and continue to bring smiles to many faces. 💛 But wait… there’s more! Watch out for our next post 👀🚦 🎥 credits: AZRalph Creatives Team, thank you for this edit!

I Return to Jama Masjid After Month-Long Restrictions Condemn Brutal Killings, Pay Tribute to Victims and Rescuers Urge Safety for Kashmiris, Denounce Media Vilification Today, after more than one month, authorities allowed me to come to Jama Masjid. Repeatedly, I am barred from delivering the Friday sermon and offering prayers here, which, while being condemnable, is cruel to me and all those who come here to listen to the sermon, and to all Muslims of the valley who are deeply upset by such measures. I once again ask the authorities to desist from pursuing the approach of bans and bars. Sadly, during this time, we had to witness a terrifying incident which has left our hearts bleeding. The manner in which a carnage was carried out—more than two dozen people killed after ascertaining their identities and in front of their families—is shocking and chilling beyond belief. We strongly condemn it. Who better can understand the pain and grief of loss to the families of those affected than a people who have suffered it for decades and still continue to. Today, as I say this, as per the Islamic calendar, it is the 36th martyrdom anniversary of my father, Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Molvi Mohammad Farooq, and seventy others who lost their lives on this tragic day. Our hearts go out to these families who will never see their loved ones again, and our prayers are with them. We also pray for the speedy recovery of those injured. Kashmiris have always opened their hearts and homes to outsiders, especially tourists. Known for our hospitality to visitors, people of Kashmir once again upheld the tradition of outreach, help, and humanity in this distressing time. Being left helpless, locals helped those at the spot to flee, even at the risk to their own lives, in which pony operator Adil Hussain lost his life. We pay homage to this brave young Kashmiri who gave the ultimate sacrifice of life while saving that of others. Others rushed the injured, some even on their backs, trekking miles to hospitals. Kashmiris, in every manner, reached out to help the distressed tourists, as can be seen in videos where tourists are thanking them for opening up their homes to them, giving them food and free taxi rides to airports and other destinations, and even providing emotional support. People observed a complete shutdown, held spontaneous and silent protests, and candlelight vigils in memory of those killed in this horrific manner. The people of Kashmir send a strong message of their total disapproval of such actions and their solidarity and sympathy with the bereaved by standing shoulder to shoulder with them. Yet a large section of mainstream media, with its communal rhetoric of hate directed against Kashmiris, has made Kashmiris across India vulnerable, forcing hundreds to leave cities and towns, especially the students, causing great distress to their families and to all of us. I appeal to the concerned governments in different states of India to ensure the safety of our students and all other Kashmiris. I also ask the authorities to allow me to visit the injured in hospitals and to the house of Adil Hussain to pay my condolences to the family of this brave heart. Prior to prayers, in solidarity with the bereaved families, we will observe one minute of silence.

#BREAKING: India hits out at Pakistan at the UN Security Council. India condemns strikes against Afghanistan by Pakistan at UN. India names and shames Pakistan for sponsoring terror groups. Indian Envoy to UN Parvathaneni Harish Statement: India strongly condemns the airstrikes on Afghan territory which are flagrant violations of international law and the UN Charter and the principle of state sovereignty. It is hypocritical to espouse high principles of international law and Islamic solidarity on the one hand, while mercilessly carrying out air strikes during the holy month of Ramadan that have killed 185 innocent civilians as of 6 March 2026, around 55% of whom are women and children and displaced over a hundred thousand according to the UNAMA on the other. We also reiterate our grave concern on the practice of trade and transit terrorism by denial of passage for trade and cynical closure of access for a land locked country. UN declarations on Land Locked Developing countries (LLDCs) sound hollow in the face of such actions. The trade and transit vulnerabilities of LLDCs should not be weaponized. This is a violation of WTO norms and of the UN Charter and international law. While we condemn these acts, we reaffirm our support for the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Afghanistan. Terrorism remains a global scourge afflicting humanity and only coordinated efforts of the international community would ensure that ISIL and Al Qaida and their affiliates including the Lashkar e Tayyiba and Jaish -e- Mohammed and proxies of LeT such as The Resistance Front, along with those who facilitate their operations, no longer indulge in cross border terrorism.

Yesterday, I was deeply honored to deliver the opening invocation at the graduation ceremony of the university where I serve. It was more than a speech — it was a prayer, a moment to pause and honor the sacred journey each soul has taken to arrive at this milestone. As I share the video and full text below, I do so with a heart full of prayers and love for all our dear brothers and sisters graduating this season — wherever you are. May your path ahead be filled with light, meaning, and gentle guidance. May Allah bless your journey ahead. Congratulations, Class of 2025. *** Full Text of My Commencement Invocation Dear Class of 2025, beloved families, devoted faculty, and cherished friends — May peace and blessings be upon you all. My name is Osman Simsek, and I serve as the Director of Muslim Life at Trinity College. It is both a profound privilege and a deeply humbling honor to offer today’s invocation as we mark this extraordinary milestone together. Long before we opened our eyes to this world, we were souls — breathed into existence by the Divine. From the unseen world, we were carried gently into this life through our mothers, entering this Earth not as owners, but as guests on a sacred journey. Each of us carries within a memory of that origin — a longing for the eternal, even as we walk the temporary course of this world. Your time at Trinity has been more than a chapter in your academic life. It has been a station on your soul’s journey — a place where you grew not only in knowledge, but in wisdom, patience, and awareness of who you are becoming. And now, as you prepare to step into the next chapter, degrees in hand and dreams in heart, I celebrate you — not only for what you’ve achieved, but for the resilience, compassion, and light you carry forward. Along the way, we come to realize something beautiful: that being human means welcoming all that life brings. We are not just travelers — we are hosts to every feeling, every thought, every joy, every sorrow. In this spirit, I share with you the words of a beloved 13th-century poet and spiritual teacher, Jalaluddin Rumi — who reminds us of the sacredness of being fully human: "The Guest House" This being human is a guest house. Every morning, a new arrival. A joy, a depression, a meanness — some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor. Welcome and entertain them all! Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows who violently sweep your house empty of its furniture, still, treat each guest honorably. They may be clearing you out for some new delight. The dark thought, the shame, the malice — meet them at the door laughing, and invite them in. Be grateful for whoever comes, because each has been sent as a guide from beyond. May our hearts be just like that house — open, hospitable, and tender. Hearts that do not break when sorrow enters, and do not cling when joy arrives. Hearts that hold space for everyone — because in the house of love, there must always be a chair for every soul. May we seek purpose beyond ambition, and meaning beyond achievement. May our lives be guided by justice in our decisions, humility in our leadership, and mercy in our relationships. May we become builders of peace, companions to the lonely, and protectors of dignity — in our communities and in the world. And as we walk forward into the unknown, may our journey be blessed — with wisdom to see clearly, with fortitude to act kindly, and with hope that never fades. Amen. Thank you!

Minnesota Biggest Covid-19 Fraud Case: Next Shoe Drops on Feeding the Future Scandal, FBI Raids New Vision Foundation In September 2024, the U.S. House Committee on Education and Workforce, issued Governor Tim Walz a subpoena regarding his potential decisions and involvement with the Covid-19 $250 million dollar nutritional child food program fraud case--tied to the Dar Al-Farooq Islamic Center. Federal investigators have uncovered compelling evidence in a case involving the New Vision Foundation (NVF), a nonprofit that claims to teach computer skills and coding to underserved communities. According to court documents, investigators presented a claim ticket for over 3,300 meals a day, six days a week, alongside an invoice for $33,000 worth of food to prepare those meals. However, the alleged cooking and dining activities were supposed to occur in a small, nondescript building, which, according to the landlord, had been renovated for offices and training, not food preparation. A neighboring business further informed investigators that children could not be in the area due to the presence of former convicts working nearby. Founder, Executive Director of New Vision Foundation, Hussein Farah was born in Somalia, and lived what he describes as a pretty normal life up until the civil war. He wanted to help counter this absence of diverse voices and founded The New Vision Foundation, an organization that works to create pathways to success for disadvantaged youth in Minnesota through coding and digital literacy. The FBI executed a search warrant on Thursday, suspecting NVF’s close ties to Feeding Our Future and its founder, Amy Bach, who orchestrated a $250 million scheme to defraud the federal government during the COVID-19 pandemic. The funds in question originated from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, disbursed and managed by the Minnesota Department of Education, raising significant concerns about the state’s oversight. Despite numerous hearings and investigations, oversight issues remain a contentious topic at the state capitol. In September 2024, the U.S. House Committee on Education and Workforce issued Governor Tim Walz a subpoena regarding his potential decisions and involvement with the Covid-19 $250 million dollar nutritional child food program fraud case directly tied to the Dar Al-Farooq Islamic Center. If you recall from my previous reporting, Islamist officials with high-level political contacts, based out of Dar Al-Farooq Islamic Center and its subsidiaries was part of the $250 million Covid-19 pandemic relief fund fraud scheme stealing nutritional funds slated for children to "buy luxury cars, houses, jewelry and property overseas — and very little food," reports the Minnesota Reformer. Governor Tim Walz has had longstanding ties with the Dar Al-Farooq Islamic Center for years. News of the Walz administration’s grants to the IANA comes as the former Democratic vice presidential candidate faces backlash after a series of Washington Examiner reports revealing his ties to Muslim cleric Asad Zaman. As Minnesota’s governor, Walz has repeatedly hosted Zaman, who shared a pro-Adolf Hitler movie on social media and defended the Oct. 7 attack. Moreover, according to unearthed footage, Walz referred to Zaman as a “master teacher” at a 2018 event held by the Zaman-led Muslim American Society of Minnesota, which partners with the IANA. Minnesota’s Health Department awarded over $238,600 to the IANA in 2024, according to state records. In 2023, the agency gave $191,900 to the IANA, which received over a million dollars from the agency in 2022 and over $612,200 from 2019 to 2021. The funding appears to have been for public health-related initiatives, including community vaccinations and outreach to the Somali community. U.S. House Committee on Education and the Workforce (Committee) is engaged in ongoing oversight of the United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) and the Minnesota Department of Agriculture and Minnesota Department of Education administration of federal child nutrition programs (CNP). The Committee subpoena compelled "the production of responsive documents that will show the extent of the actions taken by you and your administration relating to MDE's administration of the FCNP and the extent of your responsibilities and actions addressing the massive fraud that resulted in the abuse of taxpayer dollars intended for hungry children." Earlier this year, the Minnesota State Senate passed a bipartisan bill to establish a new Office of Inspector General to combat fraud, but the initiative failed in the House due to funding shortages. Critics of the proposed office questioned its effectiveness and cost, arguing that the existing system, with enhancements, is sufficient. While the measure may be revisited next year, the ongoing investigations highlight persistent challenges in preventing fraud within state-managed federal programs. This is getting more interesting as time moves on.

Dreams come true. My father حفظه الله used to undertake an hour round-trip every night of Ramadan so that we could attend a Masjid for Taraweeh throughout my childhood and teenage years. We would listen to the Qur'an on our way to and from the Masjid and dream about one day being able to simply walk to the Masjid back home in Morocco. Alhamdulillah we've made it, we're both in Morocco now and I ask Allah عز وجل to preserve him and to reward him for his diligence in cultivating his children upon the 5 pillars of Islam and making prayer, fasting and recitation of the Qur'an a priority in our lives. This is intended as encouragement for my beloved brothers and all the Muslims in the West, strive hard in whatever you're able to and aim to live amongst the Muslims. When there is a will, there is a way. I wish I'd done this sooner, the fear of the unknown keeps us chained sometimes. When we realise there is truly nothing apart from our jobs, families, brothers and communities in the West - it's easy Alhamdulillah. Bring your family and community with you, this way we continue to benefit from that which is good in the West. If you can work remotely, run a business from abroad or even go back and forth to earn for your family - then DO IT, don't hesitate. All lands of Islam have Khair in them that supercedes the lands of the Kuffaar exponentially. The wealthy Westerners themselves - especially those with conservative values - are flocking to escape the West in droves, whilst the riff raff and rabble of the people East are flocking to the West. It's a no brainer. Your wives and children feel safe walking the streets, strangers make Dua for your children and Allah's mention is frequent upon the tongues of the people. May Allah make it easy for us and our families to live with the Muslims. May Allah make it possible for those who are not well to do or unable to make Hijrah, to remain firm within the West in the Salafi communities until Allah عز وجل opens doors for them to leave. Love for your brother what you love for yourself. Karim Al Maghribi.

⚡️BREAKING: Al-Qassam Brigades Spokesman, Abu Obaida: We congratulate Muslims on the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan, the month of victories, especially our people in Palestine and Gaza. We tell our two billion Muslim brothers and sisters that your brothers in faith have sanctified their fasting by offering a stream of pure blood. The Islamic nation will not rise, nor will it hold a place among the nations, until this holy land is cleansed of the defilement of the occupiers. We remind the two-billion-strong Ummah that this Arab Muslim people are being subjected to genocide, starvation, and attempts at displacement before your very eyes. The resistance has adhered to the terms of the ceasefire agreement and the prisoner exchange in Gaza, both before the world and the mediators. Despite all the enemy’s attempts at evasion, we have chosen—and continue to choose—to abide by the agreement, out of respect for the blood of our people and a desire to eliminate excuses. We honored the agreement out of respect for the commitments made by our mediator brothers from the Arab nations. The enemy has reneged on many of its commitments, which are fundamental rights of our people. The enemy has engaged in bullying, procrastination, and arrogance. A criminal and sadistic mindset nests in the mind of the occupier, whether in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, or throughout the entire region. The enemy’s leadership is trying to evade the agreement, as the Prime Minister prioritizes party interests over the lives of its captives. The enemy’s leadership continues to seek to avoid the agreement, aiming to secure American cover to continue its aggression against our people. The world has witnessed how the enemy has tortured—and continues to torture—our prisoners, who recount horrific testimonies of criminal treatment.
