Look at how American children live! I filmed this on my way home from New York City after attending the World Falun Dafa Day parade a few days ago. I happened to get stuck behind a school bus, which kept stopping and delayed me quite a bit — but it also gave me a chance to closely observe the happy lives of these children. As you can see, the school bus drops each child off right at their home. Sometimes two houses are only five or ten meters apart, yet the bus still stops separately for each family. It doesn’t try to save time by dropping the children somewhere in between and making them walk home on their own. Around the 10-second mark in the video, you can see a small child get off the bus and cross the street to go home. That’s why in the United States, whenever a school bus stops, not only must all the cars behind it stop, but even the cars coming from the opposite direction must stop as well — all to ensure children can cross the road safely. I filmed both of these clips from inside my car. I was quite amazed that day, but I hadn’t had time to share them until now. Today I finally wanted to show everyone. This is what a society built for people looks like! And compare American children's lives with those of Chinese children! A follower of my Chinese language account 曾錚 says that a lot of Chinese middle and high-school students are just like prisoners, and their parents are only allowed to visit them at school once a month!

People get so emotional about DNA issues that they refuse to think reasonably. If you, on your own volition, wake up one morning, and decide to go have a DNA paternity test of "your" children, then you must also be ready for the results that will come back to you. You must have reasonable cause to go for the test. That reasonable cause means you are not 100% sure if the kids are yours and hence need a confirmation test. The DNA centers are supposed to take you through counseling before you sign on to do the test. Don't go for a test and later come and disturb us online with the results. Nobody asked for it. The situation is different if you need to have the DNA test to help you complete some documentation for traveling etc. That one you didn't request for the test out of your own volition. So I can understand you if you are surprised when the results come. There is an Akan proverb that says "if you go searching for stuffs in the eyes of dead person, you will definitely see a ghost."

A friend of mine just recently got his first gun, a striker fired Glock 19. He is terrified to leave a round chambered. To anyone reading this who has this same fear, I want to alleviate your concerns. I'm going to explain why there is nothing to be afraid of. First and foremost, I fully understand your concern. It's not irrational. And you're not stupid for being nervous about a bullet being aimed at your leg with the striker cocked back under spring tension about an 1/8 of an inch from the primer. I get it. I shared this concern when I was new to carrying. But your fear is due to a lack of understanding of the internal safety features of a modern striker fired handgun. On a properly maintained modern striker fired pistol the striker CANNOT hit the primer on the chambered round without the trigger being pulled. Can't. Not shouldn't. Can't. (If you have any good Sig P320 jokes, this is the proper place to share them) There is a block that the striker will hit and stop if it is released without the trigger being depressed. It works just like a lock and key. There is a channel in the blocker that the striker can pass through if it is in the fire position. It only goes into the fire position if the trigger is pulled which pushes the blocker into the fire position. A spring keeps the blocker firmly in the block position until then. The blocker is a solid piece of steel that won't break. And if your gun is securely in a hard sided Kydex holster nothing can move the trigger unless it is unholstered. Many guns like Glocks have a trigger safety that prevents the trigger from moving due to force of dropping. Your finger has to be on the trigger safety to move it. So the gun cannot fire unless you pull the trigger. And it's easy for you to test this safety feature to see how it works! See the video below. You can try to push the striker forward by moving that piece at the back of the slide forward. That piece is the back of the striker. Push it forward and it will stop. The tip won't come out through the breach. You see it trying to come through but it gets stuck. Now push that little button in. That is the actual blocker. When you push it in you will now be able to move the striker forward through the breach and see how it will strike the primer. You can test this easily every time you disassemble your pistol to verify it is still working. You can break this safety feature by removing the blocker or losing the spring. But if it's there it will work. (You would be the first person in firearms history who has ever lost a spring. Literally the first one. It has never happened before. 😐) But it doesn't come out as part of regular maintenance. You have to disassemble the firing assembly to get it out. That won't happen by accident. And if you do that on purpose you should do this blocker test when you reassemble it to make sure the safety feature is working. My video shows a Glock slide. All Glocks will look like this. Other brands may put the blocker in a different spot or it may be a slightly different shape. But they all (mostly) have the same design. If you test yours as demonstrated and it works like mine does, your gun WILL NOT fire without pulling the trigger. (If you just thought of another P320 joke, this is another good place to toss that out there)

*Long sigh* Here we go again. E-bikes. Or in this case, what are actually electric dirt bikes. Have you seen these two individuals? We know some of you are tired of hearing about this topic, but we’re determined to keep our community safe, and part of that means identifying the people putting others at risk. This video was taken yesterday around midday near Southlands Mall. One of our officers was patrolling the area when he spotted these two doubled up on what appears to be a modified electric dirt bike. These types of vehicles are not street legal in the City of Aurora and are classified as off-highway vehicles, similar to traditional dirt bikes, ATVs and side-by-sides. Only pedal-assist e-bikes are allowed on roadways and they must follow the same traffic laws as bicycles. These two were not. Long sigh Here we go again. E-bikes. Or in this case, what are actually electric dirt bikes. Have you seen these two individuals? We know some of you are tired of hearing about this topic, but we’re determined to keep our community safe, and part of that means identifying the people putting others at risk. This video was taken yesterday around midday near Southlands Mall. One of our officers was patrolling the area when he spotted these two doubled up on what appears to be a modified electric dirt bike. These types of vehicles are not street legal in the City of Aurora and are classified as off-highway vehicles, similar to traditional dirt bikes, ATVs and side-by-sides. Only pedal-assist e-bikes are allowed on roadways and they must follow the same traffic laws as bicycles. These two were not. You’re on a journey on this kind of lonely road with your car and your car suddenly develops a fault, You can’t call for help and your lines can’t be reached due to network issues, what do you do? Except the car will stop and the engine won’t come up again, please reduce your speed and accelerate softly till you get to a nearby town, if it is an overheating issue, keep driving, put the gear in the neutral position and switch off the engine and let the car keep moving, switch it back on when you have to ascend a hilly road and the car can’t move freely on its own again. If the battery signal comes up while driving, chances are that your alternator has failed, or the alternator belt is damaged, apply the same method and switch off your AC, radio system or anything that may drain the battery while driving till you get to a safe place. If it is a flat tyre, maintain a low speed till you get to a safe place to change and use your spare, keep moving. Yes!!! Damage that tyre till you get to a safe place, just keep moving and make sure you have a spare tyre always and it is in a good condition. If the engine suddenly goes off on top speed, chances are that a fuse is damaged and this is why I will make a thread on how to identify different fuses and how to have them fixed temporarily in case of Emergencies. If your car jerks or experiences a lazy movement while driving, it’s likely to be a fuel related issue, fuel pump most likely, switch off the engine intermittently and put the gear in Neutral position, keep moving… if the fuel pump rests for about 5mins, it’ll pick up back when you ignite the engine, this will/may at least take you to a safe place or where you can have access to network to make calls. If you hear strange sounds like knocking sounds or the oil signal starts to blink, relax and reduce your speed, keep moving. Manage it till you get to a safe place or can have access to network. If your gear/transmission system isn’t selecting well, apply the same method, reduce your speed but keep moving, slow movement is better than no movement, your life and safety matters a lot.
