In times of crisis, rapid response is what makes the difference. Makhzoumi Foundation’s humanitarian and medical teams, along with volunteers, are working continuously on the ground to support displaced families and meet their essential needs. The Camille Chamoun Sports City Stadium has been transformed into a shelter that hosts thousands of people, with generators and solar lighting installed to improve living conditions. At the same time, the Foundation’s teams continue their work in several other shelters located in schools. The medical team provides consultations and medications in coordination with the Primary Healthcare Network of the Ministry of Public Health and with our health-sector partners. Relief teams are also collaborating with Matbakh El Khair to prepare and distribute hot meals daily. Our teams remain present… because humanitarian work does not stop when crises intensify. Father On this holy Christmas morning, as millions gather with loved ones to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we acknowledge in gratitude and prayer those who can not be home with their families this Christmas. Today, our hearts turn especially to the brave men and women who sacrifice their own holiday to serve and protect us all. Bless our military personnel standing watch away from loved ones. Bless our police officers, ICE agents, firefighters, and first responders patrolling our streets and borders, ready to place themselves in harms way while others celebrate this holy day with family. Watch over and protect them. Bless our doctors, nurses, and medical professionals in hospitals and clinics, caring for the sick. Bless our truckers and all who work long hours away from family to help keep our nation rolling. Bring them home to those who await their safe return. Lord, Bless these faithful servants and ease the pain of missing their loved ones. We know, Lord, that their selfless service is seen, valued, and honored, not just by us, but also by You. Also, comfort our brothers and sisters who are alone, staring at empty chairs this Christmas, like our sisters Julie, Miss Sophie, who recently lost their husbands, and Kat who lost her dad. May our prayer this Christmas morning touch each of their hearts and may these hardworking Americans feel the gratitude of our beloved republic. In Jesus' name To my brothers and sisters here on X: Thank you for another great year. Your friendship, prayers, and encouragement helps me stay motivated and on track working a tough job that makes many feel isolated and alone. Merry Christmas, and may God bless you all.

This is Hinglaj Mata Mandir, lovingly known among the Baloch as Naani Ka Mandir, a sacred place where hundreds of thousands of devotees come every year to seek the blessings of Ma Bhavani. Here, devotees raise their voices without fear: Jai Shri Ram! Jai Hinglaj Mata! They journey across the highways, roads, deserts and mountains of Balochistan with confidence not because they are strangers in a foreign land, but because they are our honoured guests. The Baloch have a proud tradition of hospitality. A guest is a responsibility, a guest is an honour, and a guest must be protected. No pilgrim should ever have to live in fear of being abducted, harassed or intimidated while travelling through our land. Balochistan is a land of ancient civilizations, diversity and coexistence. We respect every religion, every faith and every community. Our doors remain open to those who come in peace, devotion and friendship. Hinglaj Mata Mandir is far more than a sacred temple. It is a living symbol of our shared civilization, religious harmony, tolerance and mutual respect. We take immense pride in protecting this sacred heritage of the Hindu faith and ensuring that generations to come can worship here freely and with dignity. We are proud to announce that Hinglaj Mata Mandir will be expanded and developed to welcome the largest gatherings of devotees in the years ahead. The Republic of Balochistan will work to provide the necessary facilities including spacious parking, accommodation, markets, tourism infrastructure and essential services so that pilgrims and visitors can experience their journey with comfort, dignity and peace. And beyond the temple lies the breathtaking Hingol National Park, one of the great natural treasures of Balochistan, where the beauty of mountains, deserts, rivers and coastline comes together in one extraordinary landscape. To every devotee, every pilgrim and every visitor: Come without fear. Come with faith. Come as our honoured guest. The people of Balochistan welcome you with an open heart. Welcome to Hinglaj Mata. Welcome to Hingol. Welcome to the Republic of Balochistan.

Musab is one of the most critical, and most devastating patients we have cared for under The Sameer Project. Months ago we would visit Musab nearly weekly with food parcels, nutritional help, and hygiene support, along with his medication, when he was at Al Shifa Hospital in the North. Upon evacuating to the South and being denied inpatient hospital services at Al Aqsa due to overcrowding, The Sameer Project has been in regular contact with the family to figure out how best to serve Musab. We immediately supplied him with a tent and a large food parcel with weeks worth of pantry staples. We also gave the injured child diapers and a restock of his medication. We want to do more, but in Gaza there are endless obstacles. The plan was to bring Musab and his family to one of our medical camps, with an onsite medical clinic ready to deal with any emergency. But Musab requires 24 hour electricity to run his air mattress, blender for food, and suction machine to remove secretion out of his airways. The Refaat Alareer Camp, Sawarha Camp, and Batool Camp like most of Gaza relies on solar panels for electricity. As the days become shorter and cloudier, electricity is not reliable. We are in discussion with Musab’s mother and father and ready to receive Musab when his family sees fit given the uncertain conditions. It just shows you the amount of effort and considerations that go into every decision of bringing every family into our medical camps. Help us potentially support Musab in our camp, and so many other patients in need of extra support, by donating to the Refaat Alareer Camp. Other ways to donate include: (Paypal option, please make sure to add a message saying "Camp") (Venmo option, please make sure to add a message saying "Camp")

WHO delivers health supplies to Al-Shifa Hospital, appeals for continued access to address urgent needs in north #Gaza WHO staff participated in a joint UN mission to Al-Shifa Hospital in north Gaza on 16 December to deliver health supplies and assess the situation in the facility. Partners on today’s mission included OCHA, UNDSS, and UNMAS. The team delivered medicines and surgical supplies, orthopedic surgery equipment, and anesthesia materials and drugs to the hospital. Al-Shifa Hospital, currently minimally functional, needs to urgently resume at least basic operations to continue serving the thousands in need of lifesaving health care.Once the most important and largest referral hospital in Gaza, Al-Shifa now houses only a handful of doctors and a few nurses, together with 70 volunteers, working under what WHO staff described as “unbelievably challenging circumstances" and calling it a “hospital in need of resuscitation.” The operating theatres and other major services remain nonfunctional due to a lack of fuel, oxygen, specialized medical staff, and supplies. The hospital is only able to provide basic trauma stabilization, has no blood for transfusion, and hardly any staff to care for the constant flow of patients. Dialysis is being provided to approximately 30 patients a day, with the dialysis machines operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, using a small generator. The team described the emergency department as a “bloodbath”, with hundreds of injured patients inside and new patients arriving every minute. Patients with trauma injuries were being sutured on the floor, and limited to no pain management is available at the hospital. WHO staff said that the emergency department is so full that care must be exercised to not step on patients on the floor. Critical patients are being transferred to Al-Ahli Arab Hospital for surgeries. Tens of thousands of displaced people are using the hospital building and grounds for shelter. A multi-pronged humanitarian response is needed to provide them with food, water and shelter. Many of them asked our team to tell the world what is happening in the hope that their suffering might soon be eased. Al-Shifa Hospital continues to experience a severe shortage of food and safe water for health workers, patients, and displaced people. This reflects grave and growing concerns around persistent hunger across the Gaza Strip, and the consequences of malnutrition on people’s health and susceptibility to infectious diseases. WHO is committed to strengthening Al-Shifa Hospital in the coming weeks, so that it can resume at least basic functionality and continue to provide the lifesaving services that are needed at this critical time. Up to 20 operating theatres in the hospital, as well as post-operative care services, can be activated if provided with regular supplies of fuel, oxygen, medicines, food, and water. Substantial additional specialized medical, nursing and support staff, including emergency medical teams, are also urgently needed.Currently, Al-Ahli Arab Hospital remains the only partially functional hospital in north Gaza, along with three minimally functional hospitals—Al-Shifa, Al Awda and Al Sahaba Medical Complex—down from 24 before the conflict. WHO is also gravely concerned about the unfolding situation at Kamal Adwan Hospital and is gathering information urgently. As hostilities continue and health needs across the Gaza Strip increase, Al-Shifa Hospital, a cornerstone of Gaza’s health system, must be urgently restored so that it can serve besieged people trapped in a cycle of death, destruction, hunger, and disease.

Since the "ceasefire" was announced, the occupation has killed more than 930 people and injured over 2819 others... During Eid al-Adha alone, 35 people have been killed so far... Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, which serves more than half a million people, has suspended surgical operations after its fourth backup generator went out of service, and if the situation continues, other critical services such as intensive care units and neonatal wards may also stop... We are facing a crisis created by the occupation through preventing the entry of generator oil, spare parts, and electrical generators... There is a severe shortage of medicines and medical supplies, with many items reaching zero stock levels, and this poses a very serious danger... The occupation prevents the entry of medicines, medical supplies, oils, and filters, while allowing candy, chocolate, and other non-essential goods to enter... The World Health Organization has reported 250000 cases of skin diseases, in addition to the spread of respiratory illnesses... We are fighting rodents inside the tents, where they have begun sharing our food and eating our children's flour... The occupation has enabled the spread of disease and the accumulation of waste, and with the collapse of sanitation services and shortages of water, it is effectively allowing illness to spread throughout Gaza.

Father God, I thank you for everyone here. I pray that you would give each person here in this audience, clarity of mind, clear thoughts. That you would speak to them in their hearts and minds to, prepare them. That you would, fill them up where they aren’t full, where they are full, that you would give them perfect opportunities that suit your will to be a blessing so that you may increase their blessing, that you may refill their blessing. Make their glasses bigger to receive the blessing that you have for them, Father God. And give them clarity of mind and purpose to be a blessing to all around them. Blessings for healing, blessings for prosperity, so that in the midst of the storm, those around them will be able to be fed and cared for, and to know your presence, your peace, your way. We pray for all those warriors of truth, that they would, be encouraged and strengthened in their soul to proceed forward apace in this dark moment, and the dark moments ahead. That as we go through this near-death experience as a country, that it will go, we will go through it and, and prevail by faith, and that you would increase all of our faith through faithfulness to do your will, Father God. That we would come through this storm, this group specifically, as shining like the noonday sun, that your presence would shine brightly through each person here out into the country, and that we would dispel the darkness in souls, in actions, in justice, in lawfulness. That we will, push out the darkness that has, that has clouded our land, and those principalities, those powers of darkness in high places would be purged from the land by the light of your presence in your people doing your will, your way, Father God. We seek to be children of the light, the heavenly light, the godly light, and not a false light. But through truth and justice, that we would be, reign supreme in our land over every power of darkness, every evil, every sickness. That those demons of disease and dis-ease would be cast out of our land, and then that we, being strengthened, being made whole as a people, would be able, with power, to go forth into the world with ample supply from our own shores. To go into the world and to be not our brother’s keeper, but our brother’s brother. To be friends and, through kindness and through, acts of beauty, and your righteousness, Father God, to bring healing out into the world, wholeness into the world, and to oppose the devil wherever we may find him. To attack his activities, wherever he may be, and to bring light to those held in darkness, and freedom across the world according to your will, Father God, that men may serve you from liberty, not from compulsion, and not having to hide their faith in the dark. We look to you, Father God, for the energy, the supply, the clarity of mind, and the understanding of how to move to accomplish these things according to your will. We pray to be Gideon’s, those that are chosen by you specially, as we go into the enemy’s camps and at the appointed moment, bring them to complete chaos. Not against us or your children or your purposes, but to destroy each other’s camps, to destroy each other’s armaments, to destroy each other’s evil intention. That we may enjoy a time of peace, prosperity, clarity of mind across the world according to your will, even in the midst of the darkness. We ask for, protection, angelic protection throughout this whole camp and throughout those places that the people in this camp are warriors to protect and defend. That each one here would have all the necessary provision, angelic assistance, divine direction to do your will, Father God, your way, with an instant of, of clarity of mind and purpose. We thank you for the opportunity to come together, for the will in our hearts, that you have put your presence inside of us, and we ask for your help to do your will your way, and enjoy your supply accordingly, your blessing, Father God. Bless us, that we may be a blessing according to your will. We ask all this in Jesus’ name. By the blood of Christ, make it so, Amen. Full program today from Washington D.C. Evacuation in Ukraine has been and remains an acute problem: every day, families leave their homes and cities due to intensifying shelling. We all occasionally-and with age, more and more often-look back on our childhood. For some, it was happier; for others, it was not as bright. Yet, everyone can recall something in a moment of sadness, while reflecting in solitude, or finding peace in nature. Many children in Ukraine will remember their childhood as a series of upheavals that caught up with them far too soon; for their fragile psyche, it is an unbearable burden. They are left with too many questions: "Why us? Why now? And why did the russians come here and hate us so much?" There will be too many of these "Mom, why," and the answers will only come with age. How do you explain to a child what "war" is? Something that they previously saw only in movies as a form of entertainment, viewed from the safety and comfort of home, has suddenly appeared right outside their window. Explosions sound ever clearer, closer to home, and there is no point in replacing the windows anymore-they are destroyed too often. A child simply packs their small suitcase, packing away their childhood, and along with it, the memories of the years they have lived. The situation is similar for elderly Ukrainians, although they certainly have more answers than children do. Yet, our elderly parents, in their advanced age, become like children themselves; they require our attention, care, and words of love. In most cases, they are very stubborn, making it incredibly difficult to persuade them to leave dangerous cities and villages where war is already at the doorstep. It is important to remember that not everyone has family to turn to. For some, life has distanced them from their loved ones; for others, it is resentment or anger that keeps them apart. Evacuation is about packing a suitcase and setting off on a "journey." But this is no cruise-and this is a journey that brings no happiness.

📌 CanYamanForChildren IG Post Ours are not just promises, but facts. The ones that we all committed to creating together when #CanYamanForChildren was born. The same is the mission of the "#BreakTheWallTour": to help the Institute of Child Neuropsychiatry of the Umberto I Polyclinic, an internationally recognized excellence which, however, needs an important structural intervention because, unfortunately, as we all know, no realities of this type always get the attention they deserve. We therefore committed ourselves with the management of the Polyclinic to creating a project that would make the Institute more comfortable, so that its guests, children and teenagers, would find some of the warmth they need to face their battles. The project is large and challenging. Soon we will let you know about everything we are about to accomplish. It took some time for industry experts to create the project for a department that will be completely rebuilt, but we are almost ready to show you what it will be, explaining in detail what we are about to do. All together! Today with this video we want to tell you something else: at the beginning of this summer they told us that the recreational space was now dilapidated. We have therefore made a further commitment: to completely renovate it so that the time that the young patients and their parents have to spend in that place is a little more peaceful. Kids today call it "the park"! The first step of a great mission. Today the kids understood that there is someone next to them. This is the declaration of Prof. Pisani, Head of Child Psychiatry: "Every help to our Institute is help to fragile children and young people, which generates smiles, serenity and hope. Many Thanks to #CanYaman and the #CanYamanForChildren which with the "#BreakTheWallTour" he gave us new life and enthusiasm, as well as concrete support. Let's continue to make the world brighter together, our fragile heroes ask us to do so."

Four years ago, we set out with a vision: to build an Edmonton for all of us. A city full of joy, opportunity and hope, a place where everyone can feel like they belong, where services are accessible and fair. And an anti-racist Edmonton, because I believe that true inclusion must be intentional. Thank you to Edmontonians, partners and stakeholders. From non-profits to community organizations, businesses and cultural institutions. Together we tackled emergency housing, homelessness, reconciliation, anti-racism, transit, safety, downtown revitalization, climate action, public spaces and more. What we accomplished together: ▪️More than doubled our shelter capacity and improved standards of care for our most vulnerable neighbours. ▪️We worked to secure funding and forge relationships with the province in downtown investment, new police officers, more funding for Homeward Trust, and finally - we got the Province to pay their taxes. ▪️We made public safety a priority, expanding Transit Peace Officers and building crisis diversion teams that make an incredible difference every day. ▪️We advanced reconciliation, Indigenous-led housing, and anti-racism initiatives because justice and equity are intentional and now foundational parts of our government. ▪️We enhanced our parks, revitalized recreation access, and reimagined downtown vibrancy, showing the world the beauty and the power of Edmonton on the world stage. Each of these successes, are about more than just line items on a report. These are lives changed for the better. Policies only matter when they represent the people they serve. I am deeply proud of our work with Indigenous leaders and communities. Together, we have signed historic memorandums of understanding with multiple nations including MOUs on Indigenous housing. The City of Edmonton is more committed to reconciliation than ever. I am confident in Edmonton's capacity to care for one another, to rise to new challenges, and to continue to build a city where everyone belongs. If I leave you with anything, know that this was the privilege of my life to serve my community as your Mayor, and I am deeply grateful for all the support and progress we have made together.

In Loving Memory of Chester Today, the Ark of Grace family is mourning the loss of our beloved Chester. More than six years ago, Chester was surrendered to our care with diabetes and a difficult prognosis. We did not know then how much time we would be given with him, but by the grace and mercy of God, Chester went on to live many happy and peaceful years here at the Sanctuary, far longer than anyone expected. Chester was truly special. He was gentle, loving, and brought warmth to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He loved his treats, being surrounded by those who cared for him, and especially spending time with his best friend, Boots. The two were rarely far from one another. For Amanda, Chester held an especially meaningful place in her heart. He came into her life during a season of tremendous change and uncertainty following Chris's brain injury, becoming a source of comfort and light when it was deeply needed. Early this morning, Chester went into respiratory distress and was rushed to the emergency room. Amanda and Chris remained by his side as he peacefully passed on to be with the Lord. We are incredibly grateful to the Guardian Veterinary Specialists emergency and internal medicine teams who fought for Chester and did everything they could to help him. Their compassion and dedication did not go unnoticed. We also want to thank every member of our Ark of Grace family who prayed for Chester and generously helped make his care possible over the years. Because of you, Chester was given the opportunity to live a life filled with safety, comfort, friendship, and so much love. Chester, you were a precious gift entrusted to our care, and you will be deeply missed. We take comfort knowing that you are now healed and whole in the presence of the Lord. This isn't goodbye. It's simply see you later. Rest peacefully, sweet Chester. You were and always will be deeply loved.
