It is a good idea to put it away in a casual conversation but these days we cannot do without a phone. It is required for taking meeting minutes, or showing photos, sharing contact numbers, taking social photos and what not. We cannot put it away in the bag.

Totally utterly disagree .....you need to put your phone off to give full attention to anybody...what if your mother is elderly back home or have kids whom may need to contact u in emergency? What if your hardly earned money is invested some where and fire errupts there...so on
