This is my message to the international community, especially Europe: “We are not asking for charity. Under the UN’s own Responsibility to Protect, you have a legal and moral duty to act when civilians are being massacred and the state fails to protect them. In Iran, the state is the executioner, deliberately killing its own people with military grade weapons. For years, you made it easier for this regime to arm itself. If you stay silent now, you are complicit in the bloodshed. So tell us: how many civilian deaths are enough for you to act? Do Iranian lives matter at all? Is 16,000 murdered men, women, and children not enough? Must all 23,000 arrested protesters be slaughtered before you move? What is your limit? Or is this inaction because some of you still benefit, from the Islamic Republic, from the IRGC, from dirty deals dressed up as diplomacy? We know the EU has grown weak and dependent on others for its own security. But at the very least, you can do this: Close Islamic Republic embassies. Expel their diplomats. You're your own caretaker. Do not for once think that the govt cares. This simple if you consider that you literally provide everything for yourself: you drill your borehole if you want water. You provide yourself electricity by installing solsr systems or generators. If you want good health care, you go to private hospital and pay. If you want good education for your wards, you take them to private schools as well. Yet, you pay taxes. You literally benefit nothing from the govt. Instead, it is the govt that benefits from you. We fund the govt and the officials with our taxes. Therefore, under this hardship of life, as a Nigerian, this is what I suggest you do: 1. Be your own caretaker. 2. Anything that's not a necessity in life, let it slide. The time for excessive spending & enjoyment has been snatched away. This is a time of survival. If you are a fleet of cars, reduce them to one. The number of air conditioners in your house, reduce them or put them off, on your fan. Shawarma, chocolates, ice creams the kids consume, reduce them. Tap the kids on their shoulders. Tell them the reality of today. English breakfast might not be affordable anymore, return to the traditional ones you can afford. If you have beef for protein in your meal fine, if not, add some beans into the soup. It is another source of protein. (Sic: because egg isn't for average civil servants now). 3. Your health is the most important thing you have. Try as much as you can to avoid going to the hospital. Work hard for your health and pray for good health. The hospitals are in terrible state. You might go with headache and return home with an infection or bigger sickness. As a Nigerian, you're your president. You are your teacher. You are your governor. You're your local govt chairman. You're your security. You're all on your own. Forget anything and focus on your well-being. Own your own life. Again, avoid anything that will put you at loggerheads with the govt. Because if you do, the moment the power decides to kidnap you (arrest you); remember your family depend on you to feed. When you're away, you're only putting them in a more serious situation. Anyone who is stepping out of their homes should do so prepared. Prepare for the unimaginable. Anything can happen to you. Rely more on God. Present to Him your problems. (Sic: report every wicked leader to God. Only Him can deal with the situation).

Merry Christmas Eve, dwellers. 🎄🐲 I have a request from a friend that may apply to many people out there, but here are my thoughts… (I apologize for the lengthy response, but this topic is something I also care deeply about) You are doing better than you think. When you feel anxious, it becomes easy to downsize your own efforts. When you look at what you made, you focus only on what could be better. You compare it to an ideal that no one else is holding you to. With that mentality, you forget how much care, time, and effort you already put in. If you keep telling yourself that you are not good at anything, pause for a moment and understand this: that thought isn't true. Anxiety and low self-esteem change how you interpret your own work. Your mind learns to look for flaws and dismiss everything that went right. So even when you make something solid or meaningful, it feels small to you. That does not mean it is small. It means your perception is narrowed by fear and pressure. Perfectionism often hides behind self-criticism. If something is not flawless, your mind labels it as worthless. But that standard is impossible and unfair. Growth does not happen at the finish line. It happens in the unfinished, imperfect attempts you keep doing. The work you are making is not insignificant. It shows growth and someone who is learning while still trying. That matters far more than perfection ever will. You do not need to see your full potential right now. You do not need to prove your worth by being exceptional or reach some invisible standard to justify your effort. You just need to keep doing it and allow your work to exist as it is. Others can see the value even when you cannot. If you cannot see your potential right now, that is okay. You are not broken. You are not lazy. You are not wasting anything. These patterns were learned over time, and they can be unlearned with patience and support. You are not behind, and you are not failing.
