🔹सुगम्य पदपथ (Accessible Footpath) धोरणांतर्गत बृहन्मुंबई क्षेत्रात ‘पादचारी प्रथम’ (Pedestrian First) अभियान राबविण्यात येत आहे. तसेच, कचरा साचण्याची संवेदनशील ठिकाणे (Garbage Vulnerable Point) निर्मूलनाची मोहीम हाती घेण्यात आली आहे. या अनुषंगाने पूर्व उपनगरातील एन, एस व टी या विभागात (Ward) विविध ठिकाणी सुरू असलेल्या कार्यवाहीची महानगरपालिका आयुक्त श्रीमती अश्विनी... भिडे यांनी आज सकाळी प्रत्यक्ष भेट देऊन पाहणी केली. सुमारे तीन तासाहून अधिक काळ चाललेल्या या पाहणी दौऱ्यात श्रीमती भिडे यांनी संबंधितांना विविध निर्देश दिले. 🔹‘टी’ विभागातील एकूण मार्गांपैकी १३ मार्ग ‘पादचारी प्रथम’ अभियानांतर्गत हाती घेण्यात आले आहेत. या १३ मार्गांवरील पदपथ अतिक्रमणमुक्त करण्यात येत आहेत. मुलुंड पश्चिम परिसरातील सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल मार्गावरून दररोज मोठ्या प्रमाणात नोकरदार वर्ग तसेच, महाविद्यालयीन विद्यार्थ्यांची मोठ्या प्रमाणात ये-जा असते. त्यामुळे या मार्गावरील अतिक्रमणे हटविण्याकामी प्राधान्य देण्यात आले आहे. महानगरपालिका आयुक्‍त श्रीमती अश्विनी भिडे यांनी सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल मार्गावरील पदपथांची पाहणी केली. 🔹भांडुप रेल्‍वे स्थानक (पश्चिम) येथे 'बेस्ट' बसेसच्या नियमित वाहतुकीसाठी आणि रस्ते वाहतूकीच्या अनुषंगाने 'अर्बन डिझायनर' च्या माध्यमातून वाहतूक आराखडा तयार करावा, अशा सूचना श्रीमती अश्विनी भिडे यांनी दिल्या.कांजूरमार्ग रेल्‍वे स्थानक (पश्चिम) परिसरातील १३ गाळे निष्कासन करून हा परिसर पादचाऱ्यांसाठी उपलब्ध करून देण्यात यावा, असे निर्देश श्रीमती भिडे यांनी दिले. या गाळेधारकांना पर्यायी जागा देऊन त्यांचे पुनर्वसन करावे, तसेच पदपथ मोकळा करण्यात यावा, अशाही सूचना त्यांनी दिल्या. 🔹'एन' विभागातील पंतनगर (घाटकोपर) येथील शिवाजी टेक्निकल शाळा परिसरातील पदपथांची आयुक्त श्रीमती अश्विनी भिडे यांनी पाहणी केली. या परिसरातील पाच ठिकाणी पदपथांवरील अतिक्रमण निष्कासन करण्याची कार्यवाही नियोजित करण्यात आली आहे.त्‍याचा आढावा श्रीमती भिडे यांनी घेतला. 🔹पदपथांवरील अनधिकृत फेरीवाले, अतिक्रमणे व इतर सर्व प्रकारचे अडथळे तत्काळ हटवून पदपथ पूर्णपणे अडथळामुक्त करावेत. तसेच, पदपथांची सुधारणा, सुशोभीकरण आणि सुरक्षिततेच्या दृष्टीने आवश्यक उपाययोजना तातडीने राबवाव्यात, असे सक्त निर्देश महानगरपालिका आयुक्त श्रीमती अश्विनी भिडे यांनी दिले. 🔹कचऱ्याच्या संवेदनशील ठिकाणांचे निर्मूलन करण्याच्या उद्देशाने मुलुंड पश्चिम येथील पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरू मार्ग आणि भांडुप येथील बदवाईक रूग्णालय येथे नियमितपणे स्वच्छता करण्याचे निर्देश आयुक्त श्रीमती अश्विनी भिडे यांनी दिले. कचरा संकलनासाठी नियुक्‍त केलेल्‍या संस्थांनी स्थानिक परिसरात घरोघरी नियमितपणे कचरा संकलन करावा. तसेच स्थानिक रहिवाश्‍यांनी कचरा नियमितपणे योग्य ठिकाणी टाकून प्रशासनाला सहकार्य करावे, असे आवाहन आयुक्तश्रीमती भिडे यांनी केले. रस्त्यावरील कचरा टाकण्याच्या ठिकानांचे निर्मूलन करण्याच्या उद्देशाने नियमितपणे दंड वसूल करणे, सीसीटीव्ही कॅमेऱ्याच्या माध्‍यमातून निगराणी करणे, कचरा संकलन वाहनांद्वारे कचरा संकलन करणे आदी गोष्टी नियमितपणे करण्याच्या सूचना श्रीमती भिडे यांनी दिल्या. 🔹उपायुक्त (आयुक्त कार्यालय) श्री. प्रशांत गायकवाड,उपायुक्त (घनकचरा व्यवस्थापन) श्री. किरण दिघावकर,उपायुक्त (परिमंडळ- ६) श्री. संतोषकुमार धोंडे, सहायक आयुक्त ( टी विभाग) श्रीमती योगिता कोल्हे, सहायक आयुक्त (एस विभाग) श्रीमती समरीन सय्यद, सहायक आयुक्त (एन विभाग) श्री. जयदीप मोरे आदी उपस्थित होते. #PedestrianFirst #MyBMCUpdates CMO Maharashtra Eknath Shinde - एकनाथ शिंदे Sunetra Ajit Pawar Adv. Pedestrian First will work only when footpaths stay clear after being cleared. Removing encroachments is action. Preventing their return is the real system. Regular enforcement, CCTV, fines and accountability are essential-otherwise the same footpaths will be occupied again in weeks.

The footpath on SV road Khar West is a joke . Please ask all officers to take a walk in their areas to judge and repair .
