🚨👀 A few months ago, JAY-Z did an interview with The New York Times where he spoke about older artists trying to make younger music, saying: 🗣️“If you’re tryna make young music and you’re not young, it’s gonna be inauthentic, and people can feel that.” Well today, JAY-Z hopped on the re-released, remixed version of Beyoncé’s “Morning Dew / Donk,” and from the lyrics, it appears he may be taking shots at people on Twitter/X and podcast personalities. While continuing his often used braggadocious rap style. 🚨👀 This is what 56-year-old JAY-Z had to say in his verse: 👀 “Bihh so bad I had to give her my last name.” 👀 “If you ain’t riding for the gang, shut the fk up.”** 👀 “You niggas tweet a lot, all you do is twit. Pop it on the pods, but you ain’t doing shit. We just making love. We just getting rich. Y’all keep doing that, we keep doing this.” He also appears to continue flexing his wealth and success with bars like: 👀 “I caught a fk nigga hating on my wrist. I caught a ho nigga hating on my bitch.”** 🧐 So the question is: Is JAY-Z being hypocritical after saying older artists shouldn’t make music that sounds inauthentic when trying to appeal to younger audiences? Or do you think this record still sounds authentic for a 56-year-old artist? 🤔 Lastly. Some interesting lines and production choices in this track makes me wonder could they be subtle responses to Drake’s recent lyrics on ICEMAN. Drake previously rapped: “You boys got big off my name, that’s big enough… We know how you OGs rockin’ already, my nigga, the jig is up.” Now,hearing certain jabs in the song and random sample and production choices makes me wonder. JAY-Z may have responded by flipping familiar samples, including what sounds like a Biggie “Big Poppa”/ Isley brothers interpolation. And a Sheck Wes “Mo Bamba” sample we know Sheck Wes being braggadocios in the Mo Bamba track about being really rich. That sample choice feels strategically used to maybe respond to Drake’s Iceman Line Where He Says “ I got real numbers on niggas claiming to have billions.” 🤔

Shocking panhandling scheme exposed in Ontario! You may have come across a recent report by Lincoln Jay of Rebel News in which Jay exposed a band of female beggars in Mississauga, Ont., who were actually running a scam operation. Which is to say, they were claiming they were destitute and were trying to support several children. Alas, it turns out they were cogs in an elaborate grifting operation, passing themselves off as homeless in order to prey upon the generosity of good Samaritans. How low can one go? Jay’s report quickly went viral. And the Rebel News Tips Line soon lit up like the proverbial Christmas tree. Numerous reports flooded in from viewers regarding similar con jobs operating not just in the greater Toronto area but across Canada and even in some U.S. cities. So it is we went on full alert to spot — and expose — similar cons. And last Saturday, we happened upon one such grifter outside a No Frills supermarket in Richmond Hill, Ont. She was brandishing a cardboard sign claiming she had three children to support. We observed numerous people giving her both cash and groceries. We eventually approached her and gave her a $5 donation to engage in a conversation. In broken English, she told us she lived in a basement apartment a short distance away from the supermarket. We were uncertain if she was unable to fluently speak English or if she was simply pretending that she couldn’t speak English. After our interaction, we waited in the parking lot of the plaza. About two hours later, she packed up her bags and walked across the parking lot, presumably on her way home to that aforementioned nearby basement apartment. But no. Instead, she made a beeline to a blue Nissan that was waiting for her in the lot. She got into the car; we have no idea whether the male driver was her husband or her pimp — or both. We discreetly followed the Nissan. And it was eyebrow-raising to discover that the vehicle was headed towards Hwy. 404 southbound to Scarborough, some 25 km southeast of Richmond Hill. Hey, what happened to that basement apartment? And where exactly are those three kids (assuming they actually exist)? When the vehicle pulled over at a delicatessen, we approached the couple and asked them about their fake begging operation. Incredibly, the woman played dumb, denying she was begging outside the Richmond Hill No Frills supermarket even though her activity was all caught on camera. She also denied that she had been brandishing a cardboard sign proclaiming she had three kids — even though that very same sign was in the hatchback area of the Nissan. We followed them again to another plaza that had a Food Basics supermarket. We were wondering if she was planning to carry on her begging act here. But once the couple saw us, they beat a hasty retreat. Our ultimate goal was to find out where they resided. That’s because we are quite certain they do not live in a shelter nor a homeless encampment. One thing is for sure: they do not live in Richmond Hill. Alas, given that the couple was now on to us, they drove at an unsafe speed and at one point blew through a red light. We declined to follow any further. But it is obvious that this so-called destitute woman with three kids to support is clearly not who she claims to be. Rather, she would appear to be yet another scammer taking advantage of kindhearted people. If you know of another area where this behaviour is taking place, please let us know by reaching out to the Rebel News Tips Line: [email protected]. Let’s all do our best to expose these shameful scammers. REPORT by David Menzies:

Happy 48th Birthday to the best to ever do it, none other than Foxy Brown, King Fox! Another birthday, another day to be blessed to still have this legend here with us today. When Inga says we are lucky to have her in this reality, she really means it. Only God and herself know the life that she’s been through, and even then, she want to be labeled as a victim because Foxy is more than that. She is a warrior, a fighter. A woman who has stood ten toes down on what she believes it’s right and what’s wrong. Never afraid to speak her mind, to share her ideas, to tell it like it is, and have no filter about it. Some people have looked down on Foxy because of her ways, but I call it real. I will always appreciate the love she has for her fans, even if her number one priority as of now is taking care of her daughter, plus spending time with her. Besides being the greatest spitter to ever grace a mic, she also splits her time in half to balance us and her personal life all-in-one. I mean, what other female rapper can say Dr. Dre has vouched for them? Being Nas and Jay-Z’s “right-hand-bitch” at the same time, doing a rap battle against Biggie himself, or never having Pac dissing her directly. Whew, it makes you think that, she is truly one-of-a-kind. 50 Cent wanted to put everything on the table just to sign her, but you know her loyalty is different when it comes to HOV. Giving Kanye West the opportunity to produce his first number-one album? That’s just crazy work right there, no wonder he did an arm sleeve with her song on it. People do not realize how many doors she has opened in the music industry, with her connections, her sound, her ability to persuade people, she is incredible. There’s a lot to say about her career and persona, and that’s why I never get tired of writing these long messages on her birthday. I’m glad she sees them as well. But I wanted to take the time to appreciate an icon that doesn’t get the flowers she deserves for her music efforts and presence alone. Notice how Foxy hasn’t performed in how many years? That’s when you invest in real state, trust in your family’s long-standing food franchise, and stray away from the spotlight after you have worked day by day in your teenage years and early 20s. She has earned it all and has nothing else to prove to nobody. Whether it was a freestyle, a single, a promo, she went all out and gave everything to her fans and people who loved her. It’s something special about Foxy that keeps me hooked after all these years. She is the gift, she is the IT girl, it’s in her bloodstream and no one can take that away. I will always cherish and praise her legacy she has left off, and what other surprises she brings in the future. I’m gonna be ready for what’s to come and support her in whatever way I can. I made this little edit today with one of my favorite songs from her, it’s called My Life 2 featuring Althea Heart. It’s such a full circle of a song, you can listen and feel every word she’s saying. That 2003 era of Foxy is literally peak, and I’m still saddened they stole that version of Foxy from us. She could’ve re-peaked during that era, but God had other plans for her. He wanted our Inga to move onto something bigger in life, and that’s why she appreciates her daughter so much. I love to see every second and minute of her treasure, and how she is enjoying her life with her mother. Thank you Foxy for everything and we truly want you to celebrate this moment with your family, friends, and loved ones. You deserve it in your special day. Love you! x
