Stunning artwork! Just thought I'd chip in with a tip I picked up recently, which might be handy. I've been dabbling in creating anime scenes, particularly one with a car racing through a city. Since the car's the star, I needed to sort the city backdrop pretty sharpish. Ended up using Google Maps models imported into Blender, slapped on a toon shader, and traced over with the grease pencil for that line art look. Threw in a random noise modifier to give it that hand-drawn vibe.
