“Liberación de Europa?”… de quien la liberaron?… 🤔 mi pregunta es retórica 😒

Germany ran out of ammunition. The Communists lost more than 800,000 men and over 6,000 tanks and armored vehicles. The USA and its industrial machinery helped the Soviet murderers survive.

By the Summer of 1943, it was over for Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. The combined power of the UK, USSR, and US was unstoppable. The Axis foolishly hoped the Allies would shrink from heavy combat and full mobilization.

Russian victory? Maybe strategically but the battle was for sure not a clear victory of the Russians

Fairly sure that's a Tiger II. They weren't operational in 1943.

So while their was no clear indisputable victors of its battles fighting itself the Germans were forced to retreat in not accomplishing, its operational goals mission while using up what was left of its ability to project operational power level again in the East with its battle.

Italy surrender made HITLER withdraw troops to defend US army. In that case, STALIN got the victoy with a great loss in human.

Is there any truth to some postwar German accounts that given one or two days more the Germans would have achieved success? Rather than sending troops to Italy.

NOT the biggest tank battle. Do your reading.

The song playing is SS marschiert in Feindesland (also known as the "Teufelslied")

The vast Soviet agent network gave them plenty of notice. The Germans made no attempt to disguise their plans. US aid was freely flowing to the USSR: trucks, planes, and food. The Soviets had incredibly managed to transfer their production to the Urals. Game over.

Erly on Stalin recognized or it was brought to his attention that this battle lines Soviet bulge would be identified by Hitler as bait to him, for a double pincer envelopment of it so the Soviets planned & prepared for it given ample time also to do so.

There was no defeat. The Germans broke the battle up, because the Allies landed on Sicilia, demanded urgently by Stalin.
