Made me remember how vroid studio hair creation

To be honest, I'm not very familiar with VRoid Studio! 😅 I just really wanted a tool to draw hair directly and intuitively in Blender, so I created this from scratch. I'm honored that you find it similar to such a great tool, though! ✨

Oh it's like the VRoid Studio hair tools I've been working on something similar for Blender Im curious if your tool supports changing the hair profile, thickness and radius after the strand has been made?

To be honest, I'm not very familiar with VRoid Studio, but yes! You can adjust the thickness (Base/Root/Tip), radius, tilt, and smoothness anytime from the panel even after drawing! Please check it out on BOOTH if you'd like to try it! (Link in reply)

Will it be efficient for mobiles games ?

You can control the curve resolution and simplify vertices using the addon's topology settings! Once converted to mesh, you can optimize it for mobile games easily.

maybe im missing something, but the issue I have with using curves is when it comes time to do the UV unwrapping. Gotta mark every strand of hair 🫠 Aside from that, this addon looks absolutely great!

Hi! Amazing work! I have a few questions: Can the generated hair be converted into a regular mesh? Does the converted mesh have clean topology suitable for game assets? Can it be exported as FBX for Unity/ZEPETO? Thank you!

Hi! Thanks for asking! Yes, hair curves can be converted to meshes and exported as FBX for Unity/ZEPETO. However, the current topology isn't optimized for games, so manual cleanup might be needed. Appreciate your feedback!

素敵なアドオンいれて１本髪の毛つくってみました。すごくやりやすいし髪型以外でも既存のカーブ機能よりやりやすいです。 リクエストなのですが、Vroidさんざんうるさいかとおもいもうしわけないのですが、画像のような後ろ髪に使えるまとまった紙の束をワンクリックで生産して、何本か調節できるような機能と、 「こういうこと」を、ここのボタンをおしたら使えますよ～。などの使い方の紹介動画ほしいです。何卒よろしくお願いいたします。🙇
