ピンクフロイドの『原子心母』はキューブリックがサントラに使用したくてロジャー・ウォータズにオファーしたが音源を切り刻まれるのを嫌がり拒否。この話はお流れに。ビートルズのTV映画『マジカル・ミステリー・ツアー』の『フライング』には『博士の異常な愛情』の空撮ボツテイクが流用されている

ここには不思議にマイクロカセットやＤＴが並んでいなくて堂々とＬＰレコードが並んでてもあまり違和感感じないのがよく出来てると思いました。

ヘヴン17（実在のバンド）はこのあとのナンパシーンに出てくる架空のバンド名からとったとか。
