I'm British (English). The young presenter isn't wrong. He's just stating g the obvious. A case many of us have made for a long time. Especially after Brexit, when the UK walked out of its largest market. Since then, no government has made the slightest effort to replace that. I know, I'm in international business. The truth is, Britain is going back to what it was pre-16th century. A small, isolated island with a population divided by internal disputes, now made worse by the cultural wars he referred to. Unless a great leader emerges (and I can't see one), the country will fall apart. It's a sad thing, but hardly a revelation.
