Look at this dilapidated Massive Bagawan Shiva temple 🛕 This is located in Kanchipuram district, Uthiramerur taluk, TN. The deities (Thirumenigal) are so large, but look how it has fallen into ruin. Bagawan owns 19 acres of land. It’s not one or two acres; the deity has 19 acres of land. The deity’s name is Chidambareswarar. He is magnificent and beautiful, and the Nandi Lord is also very beautiful. Everything here consists of ancient deities. This banyan tree has grown over a 1,000 to 1,500-year-old temple. Please share this video as much as possible. Help restore this temple. We make a humble request to the HR&CE department to restore such ancient temples, restart regular worship, and hand them over to the local community. There are many devotees in the Kanchipuram region willing to properly maintain it and conduct prayers. We can find someone to perform the daily rituals. Please spread the word about this video. Namaz is being offered inside a thousand year old mandir complex in Kasmandi, Malihabad by local Muslims. Meat and fish markets have come up around the ancient Shiva temple on the same site. Encroachments by them are spreading. A full memorandum demanding protection, legal action, and heritage development has gone to the UP government. No visible response yet. The mandir complex belonged to Raja Kans Pasi and Maharaja Lakhan Pasi, Dalit warrior kings who fought back a medieval Islamic invasion in this very region by Syed Salar Masud Ghazi. They killed two of the invading commander's top generals, and died in a night ambush refusing to retreat. The village of Kasmandi carries Raja Kans's name to this day. None of this is in any school textbook. Last month, the Smriti Gaurav Dwar built in honour of this SC community was cut out at 3 AM with cranes from outside a police station. FIR filed. Accused not found. Gate not reinstalled. This kind of thing is becoming a pattern that keeps repeating itself across UP. The community has given May 25 as the final date for the government to act. CM Yogi has a clear track record on Hindu heritage sites and encroachment. The Pasi SC community is counting on exactly that record to show up here.

Then the trust indicators that reveal how deep this relationship actually runs. UPI is being integrated into Indonesia's payment infrastructure. Indian archaeologists are restoring the 1,170 year old Prambanan Shiva temple in Java. A country does not invite another nation to restore its ancient temples unless the relationship operates at a level that has nothing to do with transactional geopolitics. China spent decades trying to pull Indonesia into its orbit through infrastructure loans, investment promises and Belt and Road positioning. Indonesia watched. Calculated. To review the preparations for the Gangasagar Mela, I travelled to Sagar Island today. The dawn of a new year has brought with it a historic moment for both the pilgrims of Gangasagar and the people of the island. Ending a long wait, the Gangasagar Bridge, being built at a cost of ₹1,670 crore to connect Kakdwip and Gangasagar, had its foundation stone laid today. This 4-lane, 4.75-km-long modern bridge, spanning the Muri Ganga River, will make connectivity faster, safer, and more reliable. It will also significantly improve the transport of agricultural and industrial goods, while ensuring smoother travel for pilgrims, tourists, and residents alike. The construction agreement was formally exchanged today between the concerned department and the implementing authority. I also inaugurated ‘Sagarkanya’, a newly built 100-bed dormitory, constructed at a cost of ₹8.8 crore, to provide better accommodation for the thousands of pilgrims who visit this sacred land. The refurbished tourism complex has been renamed ‘Ganganna’. Additionally, I handed over the benefits of GoWB schemes and services to 2.26 lakh people. In South 24 Parganas, I inaugurated 96 projects worth ₹394.93 crore, and laid foundation stones for 70 new projects, including the Gangasagar Bridge, with a total investment of ₹1,929.37 crore. I also remotely laid the foundation for a 3.4-km high-drainage canal system at a cost of ₹528.93 lakh, connecting Siddheshwari Kali Mandir to the Bidyadhari canal junction in Ashokenagar-Kalyangarh, North 24 Parganas. This project will benefit nearly 50,000 people, prevent waterlogging, protect farmlands from flooding, and help curb the spread of vector-borne diseases. Today, I also unveiled the Gangasagar Mela 2026 booklet, detailing the comprehensive arrangements made by our government. For public welfare, we have fully waived the pilgrimage tax. Yet, certain divisive Jono-Birodhi forces, driven only by misinformation and malice, continue to spread false narratives, even targeting the fundamental democratic right of citizens to vote. The elderly, the ailing, and the vulnerable have been victims of this conspiracy that has already claimed precious lives. Bengal will respond to these Bangla-Birodhi forces through the strength of democracy, unity, and collective resolve. May the bonds of peace, harmony, unity, and fraternity remain unbroken. To review the preparations for the Gangasagar Mela, I travelled to Sagar Island today. The dawn of a new year has brought with it a historic moment for both the pilgrims of Gangasagar and the people of the island. Ending a long wait, the Gangasagar Bridge, being built at a cost of ₹1,670 crore to connect Kakdwip and Gangasagar, had its foundation stone laid today. This 4-lane, 4.75-km-long modern bridge, spanning the Muri Ganga River, will make connectivity faster, safer, and more reliable. It will also significantly improve the transport of agricultural and industrial goods, while ensuring smoother travel for pilgrims, tourists, and residents alike. The construction agreement was formally exchanged today between the concerned department and the implementing authority. I also inaugurated ‘Sagarkanya’, a newly built 100-bed dormitory, constructed at a cost of ₹8.8 crore, to provide better accommodation for the thousands of pilgrims who visit this sacred land. The refurbished tourism complex has been renamed ‘Ganganna’. Additionally, I handed over the benefits of GoWB schemes and services to 2.26 lakh people. In South 24 Parganas, I inaugurated 96 projects worth ₹394.93 crore, and laid foundation stones for 70 new projects, including the Gangasagar Bridge, with a total investment of ₹1,929.37 crore. I also remotely laid the foundation for a 3.4-km high-drainage canal system at a cost of ₹528.93 lakh, connecting Siddheshwari Kali Mandir to the Bidyadhari canal junction in Ashokenagar-Kalyangarh, North 24 Parganas. This project will benefit nearly 50,000 people, prevent waterlogging, protect farmlands from flooding, and help curb the spread of vector-borne diseases. Today, I also unveiled the Gangasagar Mela 2026 booklet, detailing the comprehensive arrangements made by our government. For public welfare, we have fully waived the pilgrimage tax. The sculptors of the Bhagavan Sri Ramlalla at Ramjanmabhoomi Mandir & the over 80-year-old Vigraha of Sri Rama Darbar at Sundar Sadan, Ayodhya are linked through a teacher-student lineage. The story of the Sri Rama Darbar Vigraha's eventual arrival in Ayodhya, decades after it was sculpted, is one of intrigue. The Vigraha is a unique creation by a master sculptor and has been connected to the Sringeri Math for nearly 80 years. The Vigraha is so exquisite that it is impossible to not get moved by its beauty. Bhagavan Sri Rama has Maata Sita sitting on his lap and tenderly holds Her. Sri Lakshmana and Sri Shatrughna fan Bhagavan with chamara and Sri Bharata stands in front devotedly with folded hands. Sri Hanuman sits in front holding Bhagavan Sri Rama’s Lotus feet and fully absorbed in it. In the middle of the 20th century, Sri M.R. Balasubramaniam from Manathattai village near Trichy, was a Chief Engineer in Public Works Department of the erstwhile Madras Presidency. He was an ardent devotee of the Jagadgurus of the Dakshinamnaya Sringeri Sri Sharada Peetam and was serving the Sringeri Math in many ways. He was instrumental in building the Ratna Garbha Ganapati temple and Shankara Matha at Sivaganga in Tamil Nadu. In 1958, the Sringeri Jagadguru had graced his residence at Manathattai and later his residence at Chennai too. Pleased with his immense devotion, the Jagadguru blessed him with the title, “Guru Bhakta Ratnam”. Sri M.R. Balasubramaniam used to frequent Sringeri to have Darshan of the Sringeri Jagadgurus. Once in 1951, he was in Sringeri to have Darshan of the renowned Jivanmukta, the 34th Shankaracharya of Sringeri, Jagadguru Sri Sri Chandrashekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji. The Mahaswamiji would often be in the state of Antarmukha and there would be occasions where devotees would wait for months together to have Darshan of the Mahaswamiji who revelled in the highest spiritual state of the bliss of the Atman. When Sri M.R. Balasubramaniam 1951, happened to meet Sri Siddhanti Siddhalinga Swami, a renowned sculptor patronized by the Mysore Maharaja. Sri Siddhalinga Swami had been waiting for a long time in Sringeri to obtain darshan of Jagadguru Sri Chandrashekara Bharati Mahaswamiji. Coming to know of this, Sri MR Balasubramanian promised to try and help him have the Darshan of the Jagadguru. Soon it transpired that both could have Darshan of the Jagadguru. The joyous Sri Siddalinga Swami asked Sri Balasubramaniam to visit his Shilpa Vidyalaya Gurukula in Mysore at the earliest opportunity. When Sri Balasubramaniam visited within a span of few months, Sri Siddalinga Swami showed him around and asked him to select any Vigraha he wished and he would give it to him as a token of gratitude for ensuring that he could have the darshan of the Sringeri Jagadguru. Sri Balasubramaniam chose an incredibly beautiful Sri Rama Vigraha that is essentially the present-day Sri Rama Darbar. Initially taken aback by this request, Sri Siddalinga Swami mentioned that he had not expected that this particular Vigraha would be chosen as it had been sculpted by him, not to be sold or given, but as a testament of his skill that had been handed down through generations. He had single-handedly worked on the Vigraha for over ten years! However, Sri Siddalinga Swami kept up his word, and had the Vigraha of Sri Rama Darbar sent to Manathattai in the summer of 1952. In all earnestness, Sri Balasubramaniam purchased a piece of land and began preparations for the construction of a temple in his beloved Manathattai agraharam. However, his efforts were beset with numerous obstacles. His son Sri B Raju, was based out of Chennai and building the temple in Manathattai did not seem possible due to domestic commitments. In recent years after his retirement, he did take some preliminary steps towards building the temple, however even this effort did not fructify. When his wife, Smt. Sujatha read about the Sringeri Sharadha Peetham establishing a new branch Math at Ayodhya, a thought crossed her mind – why not offer Sri Rama to the Sringeri Shankara Math at Ayodhya? With this thought, they came to Sringeri on August 17th 2022 to have Darshan of the Jagadgurus and to seek Their guidance. Both Sri Maha Sannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam were very happy to and instructed them to bring the Vigraha to Sringeri at the earliest. Thus, it seemed it was pre-ordained that the sequence of events pertaining to the Vigraha began in Sringeri more than 70 years ago and again culminated in Sringeri. This is what is called Ram Leela. On January 22, 2024, the day Bhagavan Sri Ramlalla was consecrated in Ayodhya, Sringeri Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam and Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam worshipped the Vigraha carved by Sri Siddalinga Swami at the same time as the Vigraha of Bhagavan Sri Ramlalla carved by Sri Arun Yogiraj, grandson of Sri Siddalinga Swami’s disciple was consecrated and worshipped at Ayodhya. Likewise, on February 10, 2025, Sringeri Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji consecrated this Vigraha which was offered by Shilpi Siddalinga Swami as a gratitude for having been able to obtain the Darshan of Jagadguru Sri Chandrashekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji. At its heart lies a fundamental clash between ordinary citizens and a political elite seen as swimming in privileges while the masses drown in hardship. The immediate trigger came in late August when it emerged that 580 members of parliament had been receiving monthly housing allowances of approximately 50 million rupiah - nearly ten times the average wage in Jakarta and far more than minimum wages in poorer regions.
