Steph Curry says the Warriors have to get back to the basics of what makes a good, competitive basketball team next season: “I’ve only been in one locker room for the last 17 years, and before you win the title, there were only those first two years where you’re building the foundation for what a championship team looks like, even though you had no idea what that really meant. this is hilarious the move to ban the tush push started with Mark Murphy of GB he said it was too "automatic of a first down on plays a yard or less" NO MENTION of player safety so I went back and looked a GB the last 3 years on 4th & 1 they converted REGULAR QB SNEAKS on 4th & 1 on 80% of their tries! but they ranked #30 in 4th & 1 conversion rate at only 55% why was their overall rate so terrible? because Matt LaFleur called QB sneaks just 16% of the time and instead called a ton of RB runs or pass plays which were terrible if LaFleur called more regular QB sneaks, GB would have a more "automatic" first down like the Eagles btw, the Eagles 1st down conversion rate on tush pushes last year? 81% but now their play should be banned because Matt LaFleur won’t call his 80% QB sneaks and instead calls way too many terrible RB runs or QB passes on 4th & 1?

🚨 WEIGH IN 31🚨 •283.9 pounds (ATH 530+ pounds) •Blood sugar: A1C 5.4% (ATH 11.1%) •Frank has lost 250+ pounds overall •Inching toward diabetic remission •Doctor discontinued Frank’s fenofibrate medication because his triglycerides have plummeted from deadly levels to normal Frank gained back ~4 pounds this month. The silver lining is that about halfway through the month he was all the way back up to 295 pounds (+16 lbs). Overwhelmed with stress, Frank resorted to some of his old bad habits with late night snacking. He knew he wasn’t on track, let me know, and then managed to turn the month around; losing about 10 pounds in the last 10 days. He is definitely adding muscle with his weight lifting, but Frank is very honest about his journey and is adamant he knows he f*cked up with diet the first half of the month. No excuses, we can’t get off to bad starts, but it was impressive to see Frank’s resiliency persevere once again. From Player to CEO: Vlad joined B8 in December 2024 as COO — and one year later, just last month, he stepped into the role of CEO. The club first met Vlad back in 2021, when B8 Esports entered Valorant and he was the team’s captain. Before moving into management, Vlad spent over ten years as a professional player in CS:GO and later Valorant. He played for NAVI, Team Spirit, k1ck, Entropiq and other teams. He was an IGL, leading rosters and building teams. His daily work now includes business development, operations, and managing the CS roster. His mornings start with checking partner obligations, taking care of the team, and handling financial planning — essentially, most club processes pass through him in one way or another. «Every day I wake up with the thought that I would like to build one of the best esports clubs in the world, that’s going to be known worldwide and be on top of CS. Of course, we would like to expand in the future, but our priority is the best game - Сounter-Strike.» — he summed it up. Over the past year, B8 Esports has grown steadily: qualifying for two Majors in a row and consistently competing in Tier-1 events. Sidney Williams, a WWII veteran, explains why he would never volunteer for war again, and why no one else should either: When asked about his experiences, Sidney recalls a haunting encounter in no man's land. "One Jerry who I laid out sniped him and he laid down out in no man's land. He was there for about over ten minutes, about 20 yards out." Sidney dragged the wounded German soldier back to his lines, but the man was already dying. "I laid him on the first day... it was all blue in the face. I said to him, 'You're a fool. You should have given yourself up and you'd have been taken prisoner. But he turned to run, so I shot him in the back of the head.'" Another memory haunts him even more deeply. A young soldier had wandered into the wrong lines: "I never forgot that fella. He was only a young fella, only about 15 or 16. A weird hand came up last night, during Day 1C of the Milly Maker. #WSOP I get moved to a new table. My first hand, a player to my left that I didn’t recognize raises preflop. It folds around to me. I’m in the bb with QQ and chose to slowplay flatting HU. He covers me. Flop: 5-5-6 I checked. He bet 4K. I tried to raise but mistakenly put in the wrong color chip, putting in 7.5K. The dealer clarified that I had to put in a min raise to 8K so I put in 8K. He reraised to 29K. After thinking (admittedly probably too long), I went all-in. He called, showing 77. My QQ held. He busted later then decided to post on X, accusing me of angle shooting, also writing a lengthy Reddit post about it. Here’s a clip of the hand (again, sry for the long tank.) I told him I only play like 2 tourneys/year in the past. If I was better at tourneys, this hand wouldn’t have taken this long. Looking back, I think we both played this hand terribly. But the term angle shooting gets thrown around way too liberally these days.
