In reality, Kate could’ve stayed. Nala isn’t an excuse; she boards her a decent bit and has multiple friends that continuously watch her. She could’ve had whoever was watching her in the first place, stay a few more days with her. If she loved Liam so much, and she was going to miss him so much, then why didn’t she just stay? Why didn’t she stay to protect him and ensure that he was okay, as she was supposed to do? Because he WAS going through a hard time and leaving him alone was the last thing she should’ve done. Yes, he was with Roger, but remember that Kate said she didn’t trust Roger. She claims that was a bad influence, which IS true. Kate hasn’t shown any remorse for leaving, so her posting this video is quite strange to me. For her to be so “numb” is quite interesting considering the fact that she has not once taken accountability for leaving him when he was in such a low place.

October 12th was the day that Kate left Liam, abandoning him while he was in a vulnerable state when Geoff specifically asked her not to.
