According to the globe earth model, these mountains should be hidden behind over 𝟗,𝟗𝟔𝟖 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐭 of curvature. In fact, this observation happens predictably 2 times a year: February 8th & November 2nd. Now, here's the crucial part: In the video, you’ll notice that at the beginning, the mountains aren’t visible. This isn’t because they’re hidden behind the supposed curve of the Earth—because as the timelapse continues, and the sun begins to set behind them, the mountains appear. This alone debunks claims such as “if the Earth were flat, you’d see the mountains every day” or “you can’t see the mountains because of the Earth’s curvature” or even the classic, “if the Earth were flat, I should be able to see Mt. I'm pretty bad at a lot of things but one thing I've (accidentally or not) have been pretty good at is being early at trends A lot of these trends are in my head in some way and I wanted to visualize those on a chart. So I built another dynamic blog post (on my new vibecoded blog platform that lets me do these kinds of pages) with this chart above. The first disclaimer of course is this is completely subjective and essentially a chart based brain dump. And the second disclaimer is I don't think I'm right, it's just my own beliefs visualized! I'll keep updating the chart You can select different trends on the legend or by clicking on a line, and you can also go fullscreen!
