INNOCENT MDLEDLE I still see some players making the same mistake I made when I moved from Orlando Pirates to Mamelodi Sundowns I regret going to Sundowns Everything was working well for me at Orlando Pirates. Everything was happening fast. I even joined Bafana Bafana All those thinhs went to my jead and i ended up undermining Pirates and believing that i am bigger than the club. I went awol. After sometime of not playing. I received a call from Floyd [Mbhele] informing me that the Chairman wants to see me. Few moments later, Sundowns called to say i must come to PSL offices. On my way back to Jhb from Witbank, I decided not to go to the Chairman. I went straight to PSL offices. I found everything prepared for me. I just signed. Pirates sold me for R4m to Sundowns. Had I gone to the Chairman, I doubt I would have managed to go to the PSL offices 😂😂

I can’t tell you how many times people used to come up to me and say, “Ain’t you Bud from The Cosby Show?” 😂 When I finally met Deon Richmond some years ago, I told him people were always mistaking me for Bud. He told me people sometimes mistake him for Dudley. That cracked me up. 🚨 MINNEAPOLIS PD HAVE SURRENDERED THE CITY TO ROGUE LEFTISTS 911 heard MULTIPLE DEATH THREATS directed at me by a mob, MPD pretended for 20 MINUTES that they were responding Then they told me I was on my own, and HUNG UP This city needs to be taken under FEDERAL CONTROL After about two minutes on scene, my security began wanting to bring me out of there due to the immediate threats of violence. I asked Jake Stauch about raising Serval's $75M Series B from Sequoia the day they announced their $50M Series A: "We closed the A in August and delayed the announcement until October. The day we announced, I got a text from Sequoia asking to come to their office. I was at a customer conference in Orlando. They ended up flying out and meeting me for dinner with a term sheet. They had talked to all of our customers. They talked to everyone I'd ever worked with, managers, peers, and direct reports. They also talked to all our competitors' customers. And they had a clear picture of the market, and just knew we were going to win. So instead of waiting on the sidelines, they wanted to come in immediately. And I initially turned them down. We had just fundraised. I didn't need the money. We were maybe 15 people at the company. I didn't have a way to deploy the capital. But I thought about it more. Everytime I travel, I look up how much that country makes from tourism yearly. International tourists bring 50M euros to Italy every year. It saddens me how much Nigeria leaves at the table because we can't figure out our shit. On my Taormina trip, this cable car cost me 6 euros. We were 12 in one cable car. 10 cable cars at once. Bi directional trips at once. A trip was 4 mins from the top of the mountain to the beach side. Every 4 mins, this station pulls in €1,400. Per hour, that's 21K easy. In a day's work, that's 500K - half a million. Every month, this singular station pulls in 15M euros. One tiny station in a remote city that's managed to magnet the world yearly. The world has left us behind. We just dey fool dey go.

#TBT Let's Go! CBC's "Let's Go!", 1967/68. After a failed trip to England, we had lost our throne in Winnipeg-the other bands took our place. We didn’t have any bookings & ditched our management. One day, my phone rang. A man named Larry Brown from CBC TV Winnipeg said they were looking for a new house band for Let’s Go!, a weekly television show that would be broadcast across the country, coast to coast every Thursday, and featured artists from across Canada. We grabbed it. Each show was broadcast from a different city and was a great way to connect the country. All we were supposed to play was the hit parade songs and were asked if we could read music. The phrase, “Fake it ’til you make it” comes to mind here. I said we did. The audition call was a Thursday and we were told to come in with Bob McMullin to read charts. I knew Bob, so I “casually” called him up to see which songs we'd be asked to play. He had 8 lined up. I went out and got the records. We listened and when we had to play cold, we aced it. Bob came up to me after me and said: “That was amazing.” “Thanks, Bob.” “You sound just like the albums!” “Great!” You can’t read a damn note, can you?” “No.” That show meant we were seen and heard all across the nation at a time when we were down on our luck. Listen /purchase at The deluxe album includes unreleased tracks, lost in the debate over the album’s original direction, including the Everly Brothers-inspired “Keeping Me Alive” – a French TV version is out today accompanied by a performance video from the Record Plant in 1982. Other notable archival discoveries are a haunting version of “Never Be You”, “Don’t Make Me Walk the Line,” “One On One,” and an up-tempo version of “Ways To Be Wicked.”
