🚨 BRITISH FAN FALLS IN LOVE WITH AMERICA, MEETS TRUMP & HITS THE ROAD! Oliver Henry crossed the pond for ONE World Cup game in Texas… and America said “hold my beer!” What started as a quick trip turned into a cross-country adventure: GoFundMe blowing up, truck + country music blasting, massive hospitality everywhere, and a personal meet-up with President Trump himself. He’s blown away by our friendliness, freedom, and how every state feels like a different world. Even admitted the international media got it all wrong. As we gear up for America’s 250th, stories like this remind us why the USA is the greatest country on Earth. Don’t take it for granted, patriots, keep shining! Happy almost birthday, America! 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 A Great American Sleepover at the World Cup 2026 ❤️⚽ Europeans (and fans from everywhere) are rolling into the USA and getting the real deal — not just soccer, but the full American experience. Picture Dutch supporters cruising cross-country in a classic RAM truck, windows down, living the open-road freedom. Packed sports bars with American flags everywhere, smoke machines, and everyone belting “Summer of Love” and “Born in the U.S.A.” at the top of their lungs. USMNT star Christian Pulisic leading thousands in a massive, heartfelt sing-along of “Take Me Home, Country Roads” after a big win — turning stadiums into one giant, joyful family reunion. Big portions? Always. Bigger hospitality? Non-stop. International visitors are discovering genuine American warmth: endless smiles, “welcome, y’all!” greetings, free refills, late-night celebrations, and that unstoppable summer energy that makes every guest feel like family. This World Cup is more than matches. It’s cultural exchange at its best — global flags waving next to the Stars and Stripes, new friendships formed over shared chants, and memories that last long after the final whistle. America is throwing the biggest, warmest party on Earth. This is what welcoming the world with open arms looks like. God bless the USA — come on in, y’all. The sleepover is just getting started! 🔥🤠🇺🇸

Today I leave my home. It's been five years wearing this jersey and always with the greatest honor and happiness possible. Since day one at Liverpool, I've been embraced by everyone. What I saw inside this club, the relationship between the people there, made me feel like family. In these five years, I grew as a player, as a man, I made dreams come true… With that jersey, I won every title a player can dream of. Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup… Thanks to Liverpool, I reached my highest level and played a World Cup. Thanks to Liverpool, I fulfilled my dream of walking into a stadium with my son in my arms. Thanks to Liverpool, I played in the best stadium in the world, with the best atmosphere in the world, which is Anfield. Thanks to Liverpool, I lived the biggest match of my life, the comeback against Barcelona, which was only possible thanks to Anfield. That moment will always be in my memory. I love what this crowd represents for the club. This love relationship between the club and the fans has always impressed me. And I can say without fear that “You’ll never walk alone”, after that match, alongside our fans, was the most defining moment of my career with Liverpool. I say this with a heart full of joy: I love this club. Thank you, Reds, for everything we've experienced together. You will never walk alone. #YNWA ❤️🙏🏾

🔴 Mason Mount addresses links with Frank Lampard and Coventry City According to sources, talks between Mason Mount and Frank Lampard have taken place as Coventry City prepare a serious push to sign the Manchester United midfielder. In a recent interview, Mount spoke warmly about Lampard, saying: “He was the one right from day one that made me who I am today.” He acknowledged the links but made it clear he is fully focused on Manchester United for now and cannot comment on leaving. Coventry are expected to come back with a £40 million offer after the World Cup, with Lampard keen to reunite with his former Chelsea player. Should Mason Mount stay at Manchester United or go and reunite with Frank Lampard at Coventry City?

Last week, I shared a chapter from my 2021 book Principles for Dealing with the Changing World Order that details the classic signs to watch for as the world geopolitical order breaks down in a classic progression of events that I call the "Big Cycle." By knowing what this classic process looks like and then comparing it with what is happening, one can better understand what is happening and what might happen. The article was very popular, getting more than 75 million views, and a number of people asked what it all meant for investing. Because so many people asked, I am now passing along to you the book's next chapter, "Investing in Light of the Big Cycle." I think that it gives a good perspective on investing at this time. You can read the full chapter here:

💌 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 ✨ Today marks a truly special day, the day someone as bright and warm as you came into this world. Thank you for being a quiet light in the lives of so many, for carrying warmth in your smile, and for offering comfort even without saying a word. Your presence feels like sunlight on a heavy day — soft, steady, and full of hope. You remind us that kindness still exists, that sincerity can shine just as brightly as any spotlight. Every note you sing, every step you take, every moment you laugh they’ve become small lifelines for those of us who need them more than you know. As you turn a new age, I hope all the love and light you’ve shared with the world returns to you a hundredfold. You deserve all the goodness you give and more. Please stay just the way you are, because that version of you is already more than enough. We’ll be here, always cheering you on, with quiet pride and endless love. Be happy, Taerae... Right now, state funding cannot be used for sober, recovery-focused housing. That limits our city’s ability to support people who are working hard to get—and stay—sober. Today, I stood with Assemblymember Matt Haney in support of AB 1556, a bill that will allow cities to use state resources to create and expand drug-free recovery housing—giving people the stability and support they need to rebuild their lives. Recovery is not one-size-fits-all, and our system shouldn’t be either. We’ve already seen the impact of this approach in San Francisco with projects like Hope House—a sober shelter that I visited recently—which has a 78% success rate of moving residents into long-term recovery options. To everyone struggling or working to stay in recovery, we are working every day to build a system that supports you. And we’re not going to stop. Thank you to Assemblymember Haney for your leadership and to the Bay Area Council and all of our partners.

In today’s Fearless, Nick Buckley MBE sets out his “day one” agenda for Gorton and Denton: a local inquiry into grooming gangs and child sexual exploitation (run in public, with public updates), an anti-knife crime project funded from his MP salary, a whistleblower hotline for council waste, monthly public accountability meetings with senior police, and 10 open meetings every year where residents can challenge him on how he votes and what he’s delivering. This is what politics looks like when you treat voters as the boss, not an inconvenience. Watch the full interview with Ben Habib now 👇

🇦🇲🇦🇿🇺🇸 Jeffrey Sachs: TRIPP (Zangezur corridor) is a crazy idea. Armenia will end up getting blown up. "Anyone that signs up with Trump should have his head examined right now. If you want to sign up with Trump, go talk to Bahrain, Qatar, Emirates, Saudis. Ask, 'Is that really a very good idea? Did the US protect you? Does having something called a Trump highway or Trump project, is that really helpful for you right now?' It's a crazy idea. I'm sorry to say as bluntly as I can, stay away from American wars. This is not the business for the South Caucasus to get pulled into America's and Israel's craziness. America's playing games with the rest of the world. It thinks it owns Latin America. It thinks it controls the Middle East. It wants to play games in the Caucasus. Don't get pulled into US stupidity because you'll end up getting blown up. You need good relationships within the Caucasus. I know it's hard, but it's important. And then with Russia, with Turkey, with Iran, those are your neighbors. You let the United States in, you're just inviting war. Please don't do that."

I really love this from Molly Miller, head coach of Grand Canyon Women’s basketball… A psychological breakdown… “𝐈’𝐦 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧” Directing attention onto technique by lowering physical and mental activation (intensity). Drawing on Deliberate Practice (Anders Erickson)…highlight a specific area to focus on - affords the player the opportunity to increase awareness of technique and change it if necessary. Affords the coach the opportunity to critique technique (feedback). “𝐎𝐧𝐞, 𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐩 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫…𝐭𝐰𝐨, 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐡, 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞, 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞” Tech/tac attentional cues (specific, controllable cues). Reinforcement…but also a bit of checking for understanding (whilst keeping rapid pace of instruction)…demands on player activation (alertness and readiness) in order to keep track of instructions “𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬. 𝐈𝐟 𝐍𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 “𝐆𝐚𝐩, 𝐠𝐚𝐩, 𝐈 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩” 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐨 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐚?” Reinforcing the importance of listening during the game - improving the understanding of in-game information for better interactions. Interactions influence actions (cultivating player listening and attention) “𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 - 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐮𝐞” Goal-setting - human beings always have hierarchical goals. Linking tech/tac/phys (pace) with mental (dialogue). Putting these hierarchically first (perhaps more so than performance) “𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐲” Technical cue (perhaps an external focus - handsy ON ball) “𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝 - 𝐈’𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐧𝐨 𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞, 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞” “𝐉𝐮𝐦𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐣𝐮𝐦𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐣𝐮𝐦𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥” “𝐈’𝐦 𝐥𝐨𝐰, 𝐈’𝐦 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐬𝐰𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥 - 𝐡𝐞’𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐠𝐚𝐩, 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞. 𝐇𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐠𝐚𝐩 𝐈’𝐦 𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐭. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐈’𝐦 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐭? 𝐈’𝐦 𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲” A broader comment on the instructions here. As a sport psychologist here I’m working with Molly to ensure players are able to process this information deeply and durably into long-term memory. This will help them better learn these actions and interactions…in order to be better at exploiting opportunities and dealing with dangers (anticipation-decision-making). This could include different types of instructions, activity design, the use of motor imagery, utilising video

🚨 Near Death Experience shared on Joe Rogan had a lifelong atheist seeing his Dead Father "I sensed this black abyss like this infinite black void and I was getting pulled into it" He said as a lifelong atheist and rationalist Sebastian Junger's his Dead Father appeared saying "You don't have to fight it, you can come with me i'll take care of you, it's okay don't be scared" But he was horrified "Your'e dead, why would I want to go with you? I'm alive with my family right now" He begged the doctor "You gotta hurry, you're losing me right now" What would you do if this happened to you? Would you follow your loved one or fight to stay alive for your family? Have you or someone you know had a near death experience? Share your stories in the replies!

This woman took “I’m lovin’ it” a little too seriously. Apparently the customer thought the meal came with “extra fries and a fight.” McDonald’s sells Happy Meals, not Angry Combos. A normal shift at McDonald’s suddenly turned chaotic when a frustrated customer decided the drive-thru argument wasn’t enough. Instead of waiting or asking for a refund, the customer walked behind the counter, crossed into the employee area, and attacked the manager, knocking them to the ground. Workers and customers nearby were stunned as the confrontation unfolded. Staff rushed to pull the customer away while others called for help. What started as a simple fast-food complaint instantly turned into a situation that could lead to serious charges for assault and trespassing. All of this… over a fast-food order. At what point does a complaint about food become crossing the line into a crime? Should restaurants immediately ban customers who go behind the counter like this? If someone attacks a worker over fast food, should they face jail time or just a permanent ban?

🚨🇺🇸 🇻🇪 VENEZUELANS IN MIAMI SAY “WE’RE GOING HOME”: POST-MADURO RETURN ALREADY UNDERWAY Celebrating Venezuelans in Miami are cheering, then packing, because with Maduro ousted, exiles are now openly planning their return home. Years of fleeing socialism, violence, and economic collapse, and now for the first time in a generation, hope is on the horizon. Trump delivered what no one else could: the chance for an entire people to go home. This is what regime change looks like when it’s done right. Wid Lyman: “People are claiming freedom to Venezuela, and praising the Trump administration for their actions this morning in capturing Maduro. ‘All the Venezuelans can return to their country as soon as possible!’” Source: Eric Daugherty, Border Hawk

🇺🇸 ⚽ TRUMP FIXES A BAD CALL. WHY CAN'T MORE LEADERS FIGHT FOR AMERICA LIKE THIS?! Folarin Balogun got robbed with a red card against Bosnia and Herzegovina for basically nothing. Zero intent. A phantom foul turned into a season-defining injustice. President Trump did not sit back and watch our guy get sidelined for the biggest game of his career. He picked up the phone and called FIFA President Gianni Infantino directly. Days later, FIFA reversed course. Balogun is back in the lineup for the Round of 16 clash with Belgium. Trump put it simply. "Thank you to FIFA for doing what was right, and reversing a great injustice!" Christian Pulisic backed it up too, saying there were far worse fouls all tournament that went unpunished. Belgium is crying foul now, calling the reversal "astonished." Of course they are. Nobody fights for their players the way Trump fights for ours. This is what leadership looks like. You do not wait for the system to correct itself. You make the call yourself. America has a president willing to go to bat for a 25 year old soccer star just like he goes to bat for this whole country. Let's bring home that Round of 16 win. USA, USA, USA.

The first thing Messi did after finally becoming a World Champion was thank his teammates and tell them: “I love you all.” 💙🇦🇷 Gastón Edul: “And your celebration when Cachete (Montiel) takes the penalty and it goes in, everyone runs out and right away you turn around and find Leo. What was that moment like?” Leandro Paredes: “It was incredible. Every time I get tagged, that’s one of the videos I get tagged in the most throughout the week. I think once or twice a day they tag me in it, and it’s emotional. It’s emotional because I shout, ‘We’re World Champions.’” Gastón Edul: “There it is, look. The penalty. In slow motion, you go back to him. And the first person Messi meets as a World Champion is you, face to face. What did he say to you?” Leandro Paredes: “Nothing, he just thanked me. During the hug, he thanked everyone. He kept saying: ‘Thank you, thank you.’ He even said, ‘I love you all’ at one point. Yes, yes, he was really happy. That’s all he needed. That was the only thing missing.” Gastón Edul: “This hug is incredible, isn’t it? You carry it with you forever, tattooed.” Leandro Paredes: “Yes, yes. That and everything I experienced with him, whether with the national team, with the club, or outside of football. I’m lucky to feel him as a friend, to talk with him a lot, and to have shared all of this with him and achieved so many important things with him. For me, it’s…” Gastón Edul: “So, did you touch the highest glory?” Leandro Paredes: “Yes, one hundred percent. To achieve the World Cup as a player, which for us is the dream, every kid’s dream, and achieving it alongside him as well… it’s incredible.”
