As I predicted 4 days ago Iran is playing chess. It would soak up all interceptors and then roll out its newer missiles. Well it did that yesterday in wave 22. Wave 22 began with a barrage of Khorramshahr 4, Kheibar, and Fattah missiles. Not a single country could stop them. Three layers of Israeli air defense couldn’t stop it. These are hypersonic trails over Tel Aviv left by new generation solid and liquid fuel missiles, one of which hit a fortified IDF command center and killed 7 senior officers plus others according to Military Watch magazine. The passionate brutal Israelis driven by zeal who fought the six day war, that generation is over. It’s replaced by a soft generation that needs technology and the ability to not be struck back while fighting inferior foes, civilian populations and guerrillas, as its defining offensive posture. Iran just crippled that posture and Israel has no answer. It’s naked right now.

The U.S. has never before used hypersonic (Mach 5 or greater) weapons in combat. The Dark Eagle is a precision offensive strike weapon that travels at over 3,800 mph, and can maneuver unpredictably mid-flight. Which makes it essentially impossible for existing missile defense systems to intercept. It has a range of over 1,650 mi, meaning it could reach Tehran from launch positions in the Gulf in minutes. Anthony Aguilar says you don't throw an untested weapon like that as a Hail Mary. You stage it close to the target, protect it in underground bunkers, and give it the highest probability of success. That is exactly why Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait is the most logical launch point and exactly why Iran is hitting it now.
