To support the adoption of electric vehicles, our 2024 Manifesto highlights plans to develop a widespread network of EV charging stations across urban and rural areas. This infrastructure will ensure that EV users have convenient access to charging facilities, reducing range anxiety and encouraging the use of electric vehicles. Furthermore, the BDP is committed to fostering a knowledge-based economy by investing in specialized training programs for students and professionals in the eMobility sector. These programs will equip Batswana with the necessary skills to participate in the growing global market for electric vehicles. Through these initiatives, the BDP aims to make Botswana a leader in sustainable transportation and a key player in the global transition to clean energy.
