Many in white America hate when Black people talk about race, but their whole political model is designed to help one race over everyone else. It’s all a mind game. Trying to trick you into thinking something is wrong with you talking about your history and heritage. They don’t want you to discuss your history because it proves that the stories they tell are lies. Black America isn’t asking you to feel bad for the past, we are demanding that you be true to what you said on paper! We aren’t ignoring the transgressions of your generation that align with the actions of your ancestors. We also know that if we are to maintain the freedoms we fought for it requires us to tell the truth on America. This is why I’m never apologizing for talking about race, or demanding more from this nation, our state, and local governments. I will continue to fight for and protect Black people, live in a Black community, support Black business, and love on Black people out loud. I won’t ever stop believing in the brilliance of Black people. And if you have no issue with his comments you should is have none with mine. We should all be able to be proud of our heritage right? Here’s a nice drill to help your OL from popping up in their pass set that we love to use at 5AS1 OL Training. Put a medball under their down hand. They must “roll” the ball along with them along the angle of their sets, but they must keep it inline with their shoulder. You’ll find that if the athlete is rising in their set, the ball will lag behind or not move at all. OR if the athlete is opening up that shoulder, the ball will continue to roll outside of their frame. Remember this will not look perfect! This video is the athletes first time, and there are lots of things to clean up. The important thing is that the athlete feels what it’s like to move horizontally without “bounding” or “popping up”.

Since we got the news of Mosab’s martyrdom, we have been so distraught and unable to do much other than grieve together. We are trying to reset, find our strength, and continue the work - just as Mosab would have wanted. The ground teams were very busy leading up to this horrific loss, and we will catch you up on all their work. The Sameer Project officially started 14 months ago providing shelter to those in need. We found ourselves starting up in the middle of the 1 million person Rafah forced displacement before the occupation invaded. This is when we first saw Mosab in action - organizing, distributing, and helping. So it’s only fitting that we continue the work and honor our dear Mosab with an update about our work providing tents, providing shelter for those in desperate need…. We recently set up 21 tents in Migrating Birds Camp in Mawasi, Khan Younis, over 2 days of work. Each tent was around $340 before commission, more than double what we paid just months ago due to the need from ongoing forced evacuations and bombings. Thank you to our community for your support, both with your donations and kind words or warmth. We are so appreciative and we will continue to serve. Louisiana is attempting to name a new bridge after Donald Trump. I’m not surprised by the antics of conservatives, but when I learned that two Democrats on the committee voted for it, I had to check the record. A member of the Louisiana Legislative Black Caucus, Rep. Tehmi Chassion, and newly elected Rep. Chasity Martinez (@electchasitymartinez) both voted yes. It’s bad enough that we’re facing a Republican supermajority. Having people on our side voting for distractions like this should let you know we need to pay close attention when the big bills come up. Voters in their districts deserve to know how they are being represented. If you disagree with their votes, they should hear from you. To all Democrats — especially Black Democrats — this is a recommendation: begin each week in your caucus meetings identifying the bills that are unacceptable for any member to support. Otherwise, we will be publicly sharing the votes that harm our communities. It makes all of you look bad that your colleagues take these terrible votes and you stand smiling in pictures together like everything is cool.
