Dear friends, I'm BeeRose. I'm really upset and I believe many of you might share the same feeling. These days in the US, I've seen banners, posters and even official government documents using "Lunar New Year" instead of the long - established "Chinese New Year" to refer to our Chinese Spring Festival. As an American daughter - in - law, I have to say that even as a native American, I'm really indignant about this. The US has always been sensitive about race and culture issues. But it seems some people here have got it all wrong this time. They may not realize that "Chinese New Year" is not just a simple term; it's the name of a festival that carries thousands of years of Chinese history and culture. "Chinese New Year" clearly indicates the origin of this festival is in China. It's a unique and important part of Chinese culture. Spring Festival is a time when Chinese people all over the world get together to celebrate, full of distinctive traditions like dragon and lion dances, setting off fireworks and having the New Year's Eve dinner. These are all symbols of Chinese culture that can't be replaced or confused. When we use "Lunar New Year", it may give the wrong impression that this festival is just a general "lunar new year" celebration that blurs the cultural differences among different countries. It makes people forget that Spring Festival has its unique origin and rich connotations in China. So, I made this video to let more people around the world know that there's only one Spring Festival, and that's "Chinese New Year". It’s a day just like any other because the rhythm of life doesn’t change, we continue build, support, evolve, and bring new members into our Huddle. BUT today is a special occasion to congratulate every huddle holder. Every community member has their own story, and that’s what makes this journey unique. We experience the ups and downs together; we are all human with real feelings and emotions, but we always support each other. This is what turned our community into a family. 100 Years of Celia! CCCADI dig into archives to celebrate the legendary Celia Cruz on her centennial. Ibayé! To many, she was the Queen of Salsa, but to us, she was more than that: a towering ancestral force, deeply grounded in her African roots. If you close your eyes and listen with your heart, you will hear peace, joy, love in this performance. That’s God. The fruits of His Spirit. And that’s what I felt singing this sacred hymn. Tomorrowland 2026, Boom, Belgium ~ done and dusted 🥹✨ One of the best festival experiences of my life, and the best part ? got to experience this on my birthday 🥹- could not have asked for a better gift ✨ This one was really pending for years and its still unreal that I didn’t even have passes three days before the festival! 🙈and what are the odds that a Twitter connection would help me connect with a group for passes. Forever grateful for this community❤️ If you have ever been contemplating going to TML, or even have the tiniest bit of curiosity to experience it once… I will say, just GO!! The feeling of thousands of people coming together, larger-than-life stages, incredible energy, and watching some of the finest artists in the world perform is an experience that truly hits differently.
