The Aeronautical Development Agency and the Indian Air Force plan to conduct the first Tejas Mark2 flight in January 2027 and complete the entire flight-test campaign within 4 years by validating multiple systems in each sortie. Testing will simultaneously cover the flight envelope, Astra Mark2 integration, Uttam Mark2 radar, supercruise and high-altitude operations, while proven systems and test data from Tejas Mark1A will reduce the need to repeat earlier validations.

Anti-drone capabilities of Northrop Grumman’s 25 mm grenade launcher developed for the U.S. Army’s PGS program. The launcher uses the XM157 computerized sighting system from Vortex Optics and High-Explosive Proximity (PROX) munitions. These rounds use a proximity sensor to detonate in flight without requiring fire-control programming. They are specifically designed to engage and defeat both stationary and moving unmanned aerial systems (UAS).

Thursday, March 14th, 2024 #S28 and #B10 took to the skies for #Starship Flight 3. Building on the success of Flight 2, B10 completed its boostback burn making it the first #SuperHeavy booster to make a touchdown in the Gulf of Mexico. S28 completed its insertion burn making it the first Starship to reach the reentry portion of flight providing massive amounts of data for #SpaceX engineers. Both B10 and S28 provided amazing views and reached new milestones making Flight 3 the most successful orbital test of Starship to date. Congratulations SpaceX! We look forward to Flight 4, which could be right around the corner!

This test data helps to validate aircraft performance across mission profiles, supporting safe flights and preparing us for public operations.

Previously, the SSJ-100 aircraft had an engine of the joint Russian-European development SaM-146, but due to sanctions, its production stopped, so we had to create a completely domestic PD-8.
