सरकार किसी भी राष्ट्रीय भावना से जुड़े विषय पर कानून बनाए, व्यवस्था करे या चर्चा करे—उस पर बहस हो सकती है। लेकिन लोकतंत्र में सरकार से यह सवाल पूछना भी जरूरी है कि जब देश का आम नागरिक महंगाई, बेरोजगारी, शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, खेती और भ्रष्टाचार जैसी समस्याओं से जूझ रहा है, तब इन मुद्दों पर सरकार की प्राथमिकता क्या है? आज की युवा पीढ़ी, खासकर Gen Z, सिर्फ भावनात्मक नारों से संतुष्ट होने वाली पीढ़ी नहीं है। वह सवाल पूछती है, आंकड़े देखती है और अपने भविष्य का हिसाब मांगती है। क्या वंदे मातरम् गाने से महंगाई कम हो जाएगी? क्या इससे खाद्य पदार्थों, घर के खर्च, शिक्षा, परिवहन और रोजमर्रा की जरूरतों का बोझ कम हो जाएगा? क्या आम परिवार की रसोई का बजट आसान हो जाएगा?
