been waiting to hear more ppls experience using dual stream w/custom encoder. Yesterday I tried it out & set everything right, but even though it was live, i asked someone to see if it's working but they couldn't find it, just the horizontal one. I wonder how it really works
you wont find the vertical stream unless you're on mobile going through the shorts livestream queue!
I used this earlier in the week and my views literally dropped to less than 10 no matter how long I was live for.

A good tip for those unsure on how to see chat and all also, especially with one monitor, ghost chat, itll let ya add YouTube chats, Twitch chat, and all that, in one thing, with transparency and all and u can see chat on top of your game ๐ Look up some info on it trust ๐๐

once you download and install aitum vertical, it gives you a second Vertical canvas you can edit in OBS, just like the standard one!

If you go into your channel analytics on YT studio, you can see a live count page! All you have to do is add it as a browser source in OBS :)
Question does this work with streamlabs or does it have to be OBS?
hi, genuinely curious- I tried out the dual stream after previously just doing two separate streams for normal and vertical, and my views actually went DOWN. from 300-400 on vertical to less than 100 on the dual-stream.
Does this mean you'll have two separate YouTube outputs on Aitum?
Aitum doesn't work for me and I don't know why.
Can you multi stream if OBS is connected to your channel for streaming? I see itโs an option in obs for regular streams, and I wonder if it works like that for multi streams or do you have to do it in YouTube studio

Twitch does have vertical streaming but not a custom encoder yet! I highly recommend multi streaming though
Sorry i meant I also multistream to youtube but the primary platform i select in obs is twitch, i was wondering if i can still output both regular sized and short form sized to youtube if twitch was the primary platform i have selected on obs

I been doing this for a bit. Its really awesome! ๐คฉ Onlu differences is i got the @Restreamio pluginโจ So now i not only have both vertical & normal for Youtube streams, But also use the Restream site to multi stream to Twitch & just added TikTok to the mix ๐
Still a multi-stream / dual stream question, but it's a bit...sorta off topic? I just can't figure this out and it's the only reason I've not tried to Multi-stream anymore.

Would it work with Restream? As I use that to be able to stream to Twitch and YouTube at the same time by OBS sending it to Restream to send to both channels.
