When we talk of RCEP, it was an FTA deal between China and India. I dont know if anyone believes that would have been good for India. It would have been disastrous. After I took charge, I started meeting stakeholders. In earlier trade deals with Japan, ASEAN, before the Modi govt came to power, the Congress party had barely consulted any Indian industry and stakeholders.
