Last night they completely misrepresented Trump’s comments regarding “protecting women” – with both 6pm news bulletins trying desperately to link it to abortion, even though Trump never even broached the subject at the rally. This morning the headlines all screamed about Trump’s comments that Liz Cheney should be fired upon with guns. Shocking comments. So as with any coverage of Trump by the media, I went and found the actual clip to get the context. Have a watch (below) Trump effectively said (paraphrased): “when the Wyoming Republican was in House Republican leadership, she always wanted to go to war with people. She’s a war hawk, let’s see how she likes war if you give her a rifle and she’s got 9 barrels shooting at her. They’re all war hawks when they’re sitting in Washington saying let’s send 10,000 troops to fight the enemy.” Now let’s watch ThreeNews (Stuff.co.nz Politics) coverage. 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐜𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞. And even later in the report when he’s explaining the comments at a restaurant, the reporter speaks over him. Now watch 1News coverage with Jack Tame. 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐜𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞. Interestingly they didn’t cover the homophobic bigoted statements of Tampon Tim Walz against Elon Musk. I have to say that they're real professional. Actually, I noticed them since before the event. They had some characteristics that didn't look like fans. They shot me with the flash, and I noticed them. I noticed them for the 2nd time when we left the event. I lowered the window to bye the fans. He suddenly lunged at me, took a photo and took off immediately to follow me to another place. There're abt 4-5 ppl in that group. They worked like tag-teaming. They're like a stalking ring, tag-teamiing to follow us. And they knew where were we going next, so they'd wait. After we finished and came out, they took photos. They're 2 of them mainly focused on lunging at me to take photos. And 3 of them standing there, if we did anything to them they'd have evidences. They wasn't lunging that much. Then we got in the car. Once I got in, they lunged at me to take photos, I have no idea what they're shooting. So, I feel that it's terrified. And I feel that this kind of behavior is not okay. Not really ok. So I decided to post it on social media. Because I don't know what else to do. I can only be more vigilant for myself. It turns out that person used to come to my event last year. Maher knows this. Every Democrat in Washington knows this. The primary will eat any Fetterman-type candidate alive before the first snow falls in New Hampshire. But on this one, he is telling the truth at volume about his own side, on his own network, to his own audience, and he knows the next three weeks of his DMs will be brutal. The number: $𝟒𝟎𝟎 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐠. Lost oil sales. Lost petrochemical exports. Lost critical imports of mechanical goods, electrical components, and food. The Iranian regime has never kept a deal. The Democratic Party has never enforced one.
