Despite these threats, the road was completed with the steadfast support of law enforcement, particularly the Frontier Corps (FC), who neutralized multiple operatives of banned outfits to ensure the project’s progress. Before making sweeping public allegations, ground realities must be verified. Such development in conflict zones demands extraordinary courage and sacrifice, often unseen from afar. 2025 has been a good comeback year for the Wales family❤️ As Queen Elizabeth was quoted saying: “The lessons from the Peace process are clear: Whatever Life throws at us, our individual responses will be all the stronger for working together and sharing the load”👌🏽 Last year, the Royal family felt like it was crumbling with the “Annus Horribilis” of cancer announcements. It has been a privilege to collaborate with Amanda Davies and Ghaleb Krame, Ph.D. on research that explores one of the most significant emerging security challenges of our time. We are honored that our paper, “A Framework for Predicting Adoption of AI-Enabled Autonomous Drone Capabilities by Transnational Organized Crime and Foreign Terrorist Organisations”, has been accepted for presentation at EMCIS 2026, the 23rd European Mediterranean & Middle Eastern Conference on Information Systems, to be held in Paris this August. What makes this particularly meaningful is that the research was completed and submitted well before the issue entered the center of public policy discussions in Washington. Our study examined the pathways through which transnational criminal organizations could evolve from conventional drone operations toward increasingly autonomous and AI-enabled capabilities. Using structured comparative analysis and open-source intelligence, it identified conditions under which such technological adoption could accelerate. Just on June 2, 2026, during testimony before the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Secretary Marco Rubio warned that Mexican cartels are already employing drones and that these capabilities could ultimately threaten U.S. interests. While academic research does not seek to predict headlines, its purpose is to identify emerging risks before they become strategic realities. The growing attention from policymakers underscores the importance of rigorous, evidence-based analysis at the intersection of artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, and transnational security. We are grateful to the EMCIS reviewers and organizers for recognizing the contribution of this work and for fostering serious discussion on challenges that will increasingly shape the security landscape of the coming decade. The Board of REACT19 regrets to inform our community of the sudden cancellation of this week’s meeting of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) at the CDC. The meeting was cancelled following a federal court ruling that blocked recent vaccine policy changes and invalidated the current ACIP advisory panel while legal challenges move forward. For many in our community, this meeting represented a long-awaited opportunity. After more than five years of waiting, patients and families had prepared impact statements in hopes that the urgent need for clinical recognition, research, and care for those suffering from serious post-vaccination conditions would finally be discussed. For those living with these conditions, this cancellation is deeply painful. It means more waiting, more uncertainty, and more time without the clinical guidance needed to help physicians recognize, diagnose, and treat patients who have been suffering for years. Our hearts are with every member of this community who had hoped their voice would finally be heard this week. However, even in this difficult moment, important progress continues. On March 18, REACT19 will still be part of a historic step forward at the CDC. A proposal for a new ICD-10 diagnostic code related to post-COVID-19 vaccination conditions will be presented, opening a public comment period and moving the medical system closer to formally recognizing these patients. Diagnostic codes are more than administrative tools. They are a critical foundation for clinical recognition, medical education, research, insurance coverage, and ultimately the development of treatments. The Board of REACT19 regrets to inform our community of the sudden cancellation of this week’s meeting of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) at the CDC. The meeting was cancelled following a federal court ruling that blocked recent vaccine policy changes and invalidated the current ACIP advisory panel while legal challenges move forward. For many in our community, this meeting represented a long-awaited opportunity. After more than five years of waiting, patients and families had prepared impact statements in hopes that the urgent need for clinical recognition, research, and care for those suffering from serious post-vaccination conditions would finally be discussed. For those living with these conditions, this cancellation is deeply painful. It means more waiting, more uncertainty, and more time without the clinical guidance needed to help physicians recognize, diagnose, and treat patients who have been suffering for years. Our hearts are with every member of this community who had hoped their voice would finally be heard this week. However, even in this difficult moment, important progress continues. On March 18, REACT19 will still be part of a historic step forward at the CDC. A proposal for a new ICD-10 diagnostic code related to post-COVID-19 vaccination conditions will be presented, opening a public comment period and moving the medical system closer to formally recognizing these patients. Diagnostic codes are more than administrative tools. They are a critical foundation for clinical recognition, medical education, research, insurance coverage, and ultimately the development of treatments. Establishing an ICD-10 code would represent an important step toward building the clinical infrastructure needed to care for patients who have too often been left without answers. Facial reconstruction of Kostenki14, a 35,000-year-old man from Voronezh The man from the Upper Paleolithic site of Kostenki 14 (Markina Gora) represents one of the oldest known Homo sapiens burials in Europe. My dear brother, when serious investors come into a country looking to do business, they look at basic things, very basic things. In Zimbabwe, people in the capital city, barely 100 metres from the president’s office, are walking over raw sewage. There is no clean drinking water in many homes in Harare. Boreholes are now the main source of water, even in affluent suburbs like Chisipite, where shopping centres rely on boreholes because the government has failed to provide reliable running water. Hospitals do not have basic medication, sometimes not even painkillers. For years, the country has gone without a single fully functional radiotherapy cancer treatment machine in public hospitals. People diagnosed with cancer are often left with little hope unless they can afford treatment outside the country. Around 2,500 women die every year while giving birth in Zimbabwe. Roads are filled with potholes. The country cannot consistently provide 24-hour electricity from January to December. Public funds are routinely looted. Corruption is rife. The Constitution is violated. There is no meaningful rule of law. Those are the things serious business people like Aliko Dangote look at before they invest in a country. They ask themselves important questions. How will workers live? Will they have access to clean water? Will they have access to healthcare? Will contracts be respected? If there is a dispute, will the courts rule fairly and independently? These things matter. So when some people try to reduce this discussion to propaganda and slogans, they are ignoring the very issues that destroyed our country in the first place. We need honesty with each other. A country whose biggest referral hospital still relies on a single maternity theatre built in 1977 cannot honestly be described as a highly promising investment destination. Our judiciary is captured. Institutions are weak. Corruption has become normalised. The world already knows these realities. We cannot pretend on social media that we are something we are not. Zimbabwe is struggling because of governance failures, corruption and policy inconsistency. That reputation cannot be washed away with propaganda. If we do not want that label, then we must fix the country instead of trying to market dysfunction as success.

The Constitution is violated. There is no meaningful rule of law. Those are the things serious business people like Aliko Dangote look at before they invest in a country. They ask themselves important questions. How will workers live? Will they have access to clean water? Will they have access to healthcare? Will contracts be respected? If there is a dispute, will the courts rule fairly and independently? These things matter. So when some people try to reduce this discussion to propaganda and slogans, they are ignoring the very issues that destroyed our country in the first place. We need honesty with each other. A country whose biggest referral hospital still relies on a single maternity theatre built in 1977 cannot honestly be described as a highly promising investment destination. Our judiciary is captured. Institutions are weak. Corruption has become normalised. The world already knows these realities. We cannot pretend on social media that we are something we are not. Zimbabwe is struggling because of governance failures, corruption and policy inconsistency. That reputation cannot be washed away with propaganda. If we do not want that label, then we must fix the country instead of trying to market dysfunction as success.
