Davido's uncle has just re-endorsed Tinubu again despite the hardship, thereby actively confirming that he's working for the APC come 2027. When Governor Adeleke met with the “Federal might," it was a normal visitation, but when the APC governorship candidate, AMBO, met with the “Federal might," it was bragging—OKAY! The president of Nigeria is an APC member. He has the right to support any APC members vying for election in Nigeria. Under President Tinubu's administration, we witnessed a free, fair, and less violent election in Nigeria. Recall the 2022 election: an APC member, FPMBUHARI, was the president in 2022, yet you didn’t accuse the OSUN APC of “Federal Might” when we lost to ADELEKE. It’s now that you all are playing a pity game. The Osun election is about grassroots political workings and not social media politics. The margins in the Osun election are always closer between the APC and the PDP, regardless of the candidates both parties presented. The Osun election is always tied—this already refutes your “wide margin speculation.” These are the results of the last two elections in Osun State. Osun 2022 result. Tinubu froze Osun LGA accounts & allowed Oyetola’s men to kill Adeleke’s men. The EFCC froze Osun State bank accounts. The APC bought votes for 20,000 & 50,000 Naira. We saw Osun people say it live on cameras. They sang for the defeated Senate President & APC governors on their shameful exit from Osun. More than 22 APC governors & 57 lawmakers invaded Osun State with their thugs & police escorts. President Jonathan is right for admonishing them thoroughly in his tweet. Serving governors invading another state during elections is an aberration. We saw the illiterate Monday Okpebholo & his thugs try to intimidate Imole Adeleke, Davido, & the powerful people of Osun State. The incident left Mnangagwa's security and protocol teams fretting, and those attending the event bewildered. Chivayo had lied to his hangers-on that he was going to meet Dangote to sign a mega deal and officials were waiting for him at State House. His social media hacks started posting false stories about the issue, with the narrative that he had an appointment with Mnangagwa and Dangote. Chivayo used that false claim to worm his way into State House to try to gatecrash the meeting for a photo opportunity as there was no business deal between him and Dangote. Before that, Chivayo had begged state officials and organisers to attend the event, but was rebuffed. Apart from Mnangagwa and Dangote, the meeting was attended by cabinet ministers, government officials and business executives. Chivayo, who has expressed public ambitions to be a billionaire and always hobnobs with Presidents in Africa and rich people whenever he gets a chance, stormed State House - uninvited - and tried to gatecrash the meeting, but was stopped dead in his tracks by Mnangagwa's aides, including his son Sean, who is part of the close security unit, and turned away. "It was drama; a spectacle. Chivayo was not invited to the meeting. He had spent some time trying to convince the President's protocol and security teams that he should be allowed to attend the Dangote meeting. He begged them for days, but all in vain. He badly wanted to see Dangote and pitch his quick-buck schemes, but, as usual, he had also seen a big photo opportunity for himself. So he contrived to deceive or scam his hangers-on and state officials. All he wanted was to get a photo with Dangote to enhance his status and in the process scam people that he is signing deals with the richest man in Africa, wealthiest black person in the world. Chivayo likes Dangote, but for his own interests. Yes, he truly admires him, but the difference is that one is a genuine businessman, while the other is a tenderpreneur. Their business models, values and ambitions are so different, and not aligned at all. One is building generational wealth, while the other one is looking for tenders, fame and flamboyance for temporary gratification," a senior government official who attended the meeting told The NewsHawks. "Chivayo's plan this time failed. He had plotted this after failing to get invited to the meeting. Under false pretences, he then negotiated his way at the gate into State House, which is a security breach I'm told, and tried to force his way into the meeting, but he was stopped. He was told it was not possible to attend because he was not invited. His attempt to name-drop the President was promptly and curtly rejected. He was told to go away, so he was embarrassed and humiliated." Journalists covering the event say they saw Chivayo walking towards State House offices after parking his car. "I saw him walking from his car coming to State House offices where we were, carrying a brown envelope and thought he had been invited last minute, but it soon became clear he was trying to gatecrash the meeting. This reminds me of the way he manoeuvred to take a photo with Kenyan President William Ruto at Trade Fair in Bulawayo last year. Out of that deft move, he has now become Ruto's friend and has got business opportunities in Kenya. That is his business model - infleunce-peddling; hence he has met many Presidents in the region, among them those from Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Mozambique, Nigeria and Malawi, among others. But this time it failed. It was really embarrassing. After the drama, he walked away with his tail between his legs."

IG of Police Is a Blackmailer Who Plays to the Gallery – Osun Information Commissioner, Kolapo Alimi The Osun State Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Kolapo Alimi, has strongly criticised the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, accusing him of "playing to the gallery" during his recent visit to Osun State and alleging that his comments were politically motivated. Speaking during a podcast aired on Sunday in both Yoruba and English, Alimi described the Inspector-General as a "blackmailer" whose conduct was allegedly intended to serve the interests of the opposition APC rather than uphold professional policing. According to the Commissioner, the Inspector-General's public comments suggesting that Governor Ademola Adeleke was harbouring suspected criminals in the Government House were inappropriate and inconsistent with the conduct expected of the nation's highest-ranking police officer. Alimi said: "A truly unbiased and professional police officer would have discussed the issue with the Governor behind the scenes instead of making such uncomplimentary and unsubstantiated remarks in the presence of journalists. That was done in bad faith. That is a subtle blackmail to destroy the reputation of the Governor. That is playing to the gallery to seek public validation. That was unbecoming of a professional and diligent Inspector-General of Police. A diligent police officer should have got the touted criminals arrested before even coming to Osun if truly the Governor is harbouring criminals." The Commissioner maintained that the Inspector-General's remarks were biased and politically motivated, alleging that they were aimed at advancing the interests of the APC rather than ensuring impartial law enforcement. It will be recalled that during his meeting with Governor Ademola Adeleke last Thursday, the Inspector-General of Police stated that he had been briefed by the Commissioner of Police in Osun State that some wanted suspects, including Emir Ajagungbade, Nurudeen Alowonle, Solomon Adefioye (popularly known as Solo Iwara), Jide Jọda and other persons on the police wanted list, were allegedly taking refuge within the Osun State Government House, thereby preventing their arrest by the police. Governor Adeleke, however, rejected the allegation, insisting that no wanted criminal was being shielded within the Government House.

VIDEO: How we used religion to give Tinubu victory – El-Rufai The former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has said that he and some northern governors used religion as a political tool to give victory to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election. According to the former governor, the decision to use religion as a political strategy was to help tackle the issue of tribalism and religion in politics in the country. The former governor stated this in a viral video. He was speaking to an audience in the Hausa language in Kaduna at an event before handing over to his successor. He said, “Allah sees our heart, me and Zamfara State Governor, Mutawalle did it because of God and we didn’t do it because of anything. We only do it in order to have solutions to the current religious problem we are having in Nigeria and for us to give South West Muslims a sense of belonging to rule. And it is because of religion that we used that gave Asiwaju victory.” He also noted that the Muslim/Muslim ticket that he used to achieve political success in Kaduna has now been replicated in Nigeria with the emergence of Bola Tinubu as president and Kashim Shetima as vice president. He said, “What we are able to achieve in Kaduna state now has been achieved in Nigeria as a whole. There is no liar that will come and say he will do politics as a Christian and win an election. Even Peter Obi didn’t win.” He stated that he alongside other northern governors successfully pushed for the emergence of a Yoruba Muslim from the South West as president despite opposition from some quarters El Rufai speaking in Hausa said in part, “Concerning the Presidential government, what Professor Akintola said is true. We the Northern governors agreed that the presidential position should go back to the West. It was a verbal promise but a promise whether written or spoken, God knows. “When we saw some people plotting for presidential position to remain in the North, we disagreed, we are not like that. We said we are Muslims and we have our traditions and we cannot go back on our words. That was the first step. The second step is after we all agreed or they realised that they cannot do anything, we will tackle the issue of tribalism and religion in politics in this country. We agreed that we will support BAT. “When we had that agreement I was not on good terms with him, (Tinubu), we were fighting. But Professor Akintola and their leaders came from Lagos and said this is their thought If power is given to the West since we all agreed that it should be given to them the Yoruba people from the South-West have a problem, their Muslims cannot contest, and win an election. A Christian will have to contest and have a Muslim from the North as a vice. They said since from Abiola it had never happened. They said they wanted that and I asked them to bring the person we will support and BAT got the ticket.
