A serious incident has been reported from Siddhartha Medical College in T. Beguru village of Nelamangala taluk, where a lecturer allegedly proposed to a female student inside a classroom, leading to a tense situation and subsequent violence on campus. The accused lecturer has been identified as Abdul. According to initial information, he reportedly approached the student during class hours and offered her a chocolate while proposing to her. The unexpected act was strongly opposed by the student, who allegedly reacted by hitting him with a slipper. Following this, the situation escalated quickly. Other students on campus gathered and confronted the lecturer. Reports suggest that a group of students chased Abdul across the campus and physically assaulted him near a parked vehicle. The assault reportedly continued within the college premises, where the lecturer was beaten by students. As the situation intensified, Abdul managed to escape from the spot while being attacked. The incident has also led to allegations of misconduct against the lecturer, with claims of inappropriate behaviour towards the student. The episode took place under the jurisdiction of the Nelamangala Rural Police Station. Authorities are expected to look into both the alleged harassment and the assault that followed. The college, which is associated with Karnataka Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara, witnessed a chaotic scene as the incident unfolded, drawing attention to safety and conduct within educational institutions. Further investigation is likely to determine the full sequence of events and any legal action that may follow.

TEACHER URINATES IN CLASSROOM WHAT HAPPENS TO THE TEACHER NEXT?? A middle school teacher with more than 25 years in the classroom is now on leave after a studentโ€™s cellphone video allegedly captured him doing something shocking just moments before students walked in. A teacher at Granite Oaks Middle School in Rocklin, California has been placed on administrative leave after a cellphone video surfaced showing him urinating into a container inside his classroom shortly before students entered. The video shows the teacher unbuttoning his pants and urinating into a canister just off camera. As he finishes and adjusts his clothing, he can be heard repeatedly saying, โ€œgosh, thatโ€™s goodโ€ฆgosh gosh gosh gosh gosh.โ€ In the recording, he then grabs the container and walks across the classroom saying, โ€œlove it, love it.โ€ Once out of frame, the sound of liquid being poured out can reportedly be heard. About a minute later, the school bell rings, and students begin entering the classroom. In the background of the recording, students can be heard whispering and giggling as they take their seats. Reports indicate that no students were inside the classroom at the moment the teacher urinated. Students identified the educator as Dan Champ, an eighth-grade history teacher and Associated Student Body adviser who has reportedly been teaching for more than 25 years, according to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. School officials say they first learned about the video on February 25, after a parent brought it to their attention. Later that same afternoon, families at Granite Oaks received a message informing them that a school employee had been placed on leave while the situation is investigated. Champ has not responded publicly to requests for comment. The incident has sparked debate among parents and the community about professional conduct in schools and what disciplinary action, if any, should follow. After 25 years of teaching, should an incident like this end a teacherโ€™s career?

Impact After Term | 14 : Turning Observation into Action โ€” Expanding the Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme to 1,350 Additional Students in Madurai Corporation Schools Sometimes, meaningful public policy begins with a simple observation. In August 2023, while inaugurating the second phase of the Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme in Madurai district, Dr. Dr P Thiaga Rajan (PTR) interacted with Vishva, a Class VII student at the Government Kallar School in Muthupatti. During the interaction, he realised that while students up to Class V were covered under the scheme, many older students studying on the same campus continued to begin their school day without breakfast. Having himself studied in a boarding school, Dr. PTR understood the discomfort this could create among students and resolved that every child studying on the same campus should benefit from the scheme. After learning that 28 of Madurai Corporation's 64 schools had primary and upper-grade students studying on the same campus, Dr. PTR immediately requested the Corporation to pass a resolution extending breakfast support to all students in these schools, without placing any additional financial burden on the Corporation. He also directed officials to estimate the additional expenditure and personally mobilised CSR support, enabling the expansion to be implemented across all 28 schools within just 22 days. Today, an additional 1,350 students from Classes VI to XII receive breakfast every school day under this initiative. The programme continued with the same vendors, ensuring uniform quality of meals while also providing sufficient food for teaching and non-teaching staff. The success of the Madurai model was later reflected in the DMK's 2026 Election Manifesto, which included expanding the Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme as a statewide commitment. Dr. PTR was a member of the manifesto drafting committee. What began with a simple observation evolved into a practical policy interventionโ€”demonstrating how attentive leadership can strengthen an existing government programme, extend its reach, and improve the lives of hundreds more children without imposing an additional burden on the public exchequer. โ€” Admin Team

Italian students issue video apology, say those involved to return home early Representatives of the Italian student group involved in the viral BTS train incident have issued a video apology after the controversy sparked widespread backlash in Thailand, including online harassment, confrontations at the group's hotel and an apology from the Italian Embassy in Bangkok. The students drew criticism after a video showed members of the group behaving loudly on a BTS train before allegedly mocking a Thai passenger who asked them to lower their voices. The incident prompted Thai netizens to flood the Italian Embassy's social media accounts with complaints, identify some of the students' personal social media profiles and confront the group at its Bangkok hotel. At least one Italian teacher was also wrongly identified online and subjected to harassment. The video, released by the Italian Embassy on Saturday, featured four representatives apologizing to the Thai people and expressing regret for offending Thai culture. They said the group had delayed responding because of fear, but acknowledged that waiting to address the incident had been a mistake. They also admitted their behaviour on the BTS was inappropriate and apologized to those affected. The representatives said the group does not condone the behaviour shown in the viral video and confirmed that the students directly involved would return to Italy as soon as possible. They also said the group would strengthen efforts to ensure its students respect local cultures during overseas trips, while thanking Thailand for its hospitality and asking the Thai public for forgiveness. #Thailand #Bangkok #เธงเธฑเธขเธฃเธธเนˆเธ™เธญเธดเธ•เธฒเธฅเธต

Sainik School Tragedy: Bail Hearing Ends in Controversy In a shocking turn of events, the bail hearing of the accused students in the Sainik School student death case ended with the Principal Magistrate of the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) recusing himself from giving an order. According to Tadu Nancy, the victim's sister, the Principal Magistrate abruptly left the courtroom without providing a proper reason. The JJB later passed a verdict, stating that the accused students would be placed under the custody of the Vice Principal, where the accused students will be staying separately at the school, instead of being sent to a juvenile home. This decision has sparked widespread outrage, with many questioning the fairness of the judicial process. The parents of the other students studying at Sainik School have expressed deep concern over the safety of their children, especially since the accused students are still in the school under the Vice Principal's custody. They have alleged that the accused students, were seen playing and eating with other students after the Principal Magistrate sent the 8 CCLs(child in conflict with law) under the custody of Vice Principal of Sainik School on 4th of November, which has further fueled their anger and frustration. The CCTV footage of the incident has revealed chilling details about the extent of the bullying and harassment that the victim suffered. They have also demanded that the school take strict measures to prevent bullying and ensure the safety of all students. Three more students have been implicated in the incident. Bengaluru College Suspends Three Staff Members After Student Forced to Remove Sacred Thread at CET Centre Bengaluru The Karnataka Examinations Authority (#KEA) has initiated an inquiry against three staff members following allegations that students were forced to remove their sacred threads (#Janivara) before entering a Common Entrance Test (CET) 2026 hall. The college administration has suspended the three staff members involved in the incident. The incident, which occurred on April 23, 2026, has sparked widespread outrage. The controversy surfaced after a student, appearing for Physics and Chemistry papers at #Krupanidhi Pre-University College, recounted his experience to the media. The candidate alleged that despite complying with rules regarding metallic objects, officials peeked under his clothing and demanded the removal of his religious thread. "I argued that I wasnโ€™t wearing metallic items and nothing was written on it, but they wouldnโ€™t let me in," the student stated. "They forced me to remove it. Itโ€™s our religious sentiment... I was so tense I could not write the exam properly." The student noted that at least three to four other candidates were subjected to similar demands. The Executive Director of the KEA addressed a formal letter to the District Collector of #Bengaluru City, expressing grave concern. The KEA clarified that explicit instructions had been issued during staff training, citing past controversies, stipulating that religious symbols such as the sacred thread and Lingayat Ishtalinga must not be removed. The KEA stated that if these guidelines were violated, it appears to be a โ€œprima facie intentional actโ€ by the personnel involved. Krupanidhi PU College Principal Ashim Afzal issued immediate suspension orders for three staff members: Mr. Sudhakar , Mrs. Saritha and Mrs. Girijamma. The suspension is pending a full investigation. Additionally, the Madiwala Police have registered an FIR to investigate the alleged harassment and violation of religious freedoms.

23 Students Booked as Ragging Incident Turns Violent at Devanahalli College,3 arrested Bengaluru The Devanahalli Police of #Bengaluru North East Division have registered a FIR against 23 senior students of #Akash Group of Institutions following a violent #ragging incident that escalated into a targeted assault and robbery. The FIR, filed on January 16, 2026, highlights a series of harrowing events that began as campus bullying and ended in a street-side brawl involving weapons. The ordeal began on January 14, 2026, when senior students from the MIT, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Diploma departments began terrorizing first-year BBA and BCA students. According to the complaint filed by Midhun Madhavan, the college's Admission Head, the seniors allegedly forced juniors to buy cigarettes and alcohol, carry their books, and follow arbitrary commands under the guise of campus "tradition". On the evening of January 15, around 5:00 pm, the harassment turned physical when seniors allegedly assaulted students Sushil Kumar and Harikrishna for failing to comply with demands. When Mr. Madhavan and a group of five students attempted to confront the seniors at a "Tea Hut" near Baichapura Road at 9:00 pm to resolve the matter, the situation turned explosive. Instead of a resolution, the seniors, allegedly joined by local outsiders, launched a coordinated attack. The mob used iron rods, wooden sticks, and stones to beat the staff member and the junior students. During the chaos, the primary accused, Bilal (A1), allegedly robbed a student named Krishnajeet of a gold chain weighing approximately 32 grams. A car belonging to one of the victims was also vandalized during the assault. The police have registered case under sections 115(2), 118(1) and 351(2). Additionally, charges were filed under Sections 116 and 137 of the Karnataka Education Act 1983, which specifically address the prohibition and penalty for ragging. Based on the complaint, police have booked Bilal, Ziril, Mishal, Arjun, Antony, Edrin, Saran, Adman, Noel, Baishudhen, Afail, Shiyas, Nishad, Junaid, Jainel, Shameel, Shanni, Shuhaib, Binto, Sabith, Adithyaraj, Mubashir,Naveen and others. We were just blocked from entering a public high school in Los Angeles to preach the gospelโ€ฆ And what happened next raises serious questions about discrimination against Christians and conservatives once again. Before the thousands of views, comments, and opinions โ€” hereโ€™s the raw truth. Buckle up. Over the last two months, weโ€™ve gone to nearly 30 public schools across Southern California. Weโ€™ve been invited by students, staff, and faculty to share during school hours at Christian clubs on campus. Thousands of students have responded to the gospel. Tears streaming down their faces, real salvation and even demons being casted out (that was the last controversy). Our heart is simple, to bless each school and make an eternal impact in the lives of students. Two days ago, I posted a video of students responding to Jesus at the previous school we visited. Itโ€™s reached millions of views online. The next morning, I received a message that a Los Angeles Unified School District board member had seen the video and is demanding it be taken down. The high crime of students coming to Jesus and being saved! God forbid! Problem number one: they thought it was filmed at the school we were scheduled to visit next. It wasnโ€™t. Still, a call was arranged with faculty. We were told no audio or video recording on campus for the school we were visiting today. Problem number two: a quick search shows this same school has allowed other outside organizations to film and post content online. That is clear discrimination. Just when you thought it couldnโ€™t get any worse. They only allowed two members of our four person team onto campus today. I was escorted into a private room with multiple faculty members and given a list of restrictions. Is this communist Cuba or North Korea? That was a legit thought at one point. We made our way to the classroom and I preached the gospel, it was powerful! And right as I was about to invite students forward โ€” a loud fire alarm went off. You canโ€™t even make this up. Coincidence? Most likely, right? I thought this ordeal was over but I was wrong. As I was praying for students after the club ended, a faculty member interrupted and told these specific students they had to leave for class immediately. Then that same faculty member stepped off school property onto public property in front of the school and approached our team members who had been barred from coming onto the campus. Why did he do that? To try to intimidate us as our team was praying for the students walking by! Friends, this is the United States of America. We must stand for both our constitutional rights and God given authority. Let me be clear, whatโ€™s our response? We aint backing down and NEVER will! If this matters to you, would you share this video so that the eyes of the world would see? Itโ€™s revival or we die and I choose revival!

Students of Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala are on a protest. About 400 of them are sitting at campus on 3rd day facing extreme hot weather, against the various systemic complaints against the Vice -Chancellor Mr. Jai Shankar Singh. The Vice Chancellor entered the female studentsโ€™ hostel unannounced. He has earlier asked female students to take easy subjects! He is known to ask female teachers to come in โ€˜Hindustani Poshakโ€™ and has repeatedly commented on the dresses of the students. Allegedly he showed complete lack of apathy when a few months earlier, there was an accident which resulted in the loss of lives of a few students. He is said to have commented โ€˜if you party late at night, what else do you expect.โ€™ He has also commented on the financial status of students asking them why have they enrolled in an expensive college if their parents canโ€™t pay the fee. This was said to a student who is a batch topper and is on scholarship, when there was a slight delay in making the payment of the college fees. Whatโ€™s shocking is that there is so much administrative pressure on the students who are protesting that they are not being permitted to meet anyone. There are implied threats to students who speak to anyone , in terms of their marks deductions in upcoming exams. Students have appealed to the Visitor of the University- Justice Surya Kant, Honโ€™ble Judge of the Supreme Court ; and Chancellor Justice Sheel Nagu, Honโ€™ble Chief Justice of Punjab & Haryana High Court, to take cognisance of the matter and immediately expel the Vice Chancellor. The questions before us are - - Is closing down the institute a good way to deal with the situation? - Why protect the Vice - Chancellor, when there is clear cut violation of law. - Itโ€™s not a one off incident that students are complaining off. Why hand over the top institutes in such hands ? When he was a dean of law at Allahabad University, he was given a notice for entering a female teachers home at odd hours for expediting the last semester exam. - What about the Systemic Issue -Casual Sexism At Law School ? - What about the implementation of POSH? What happens when the complaint is against the top boss ? - What we see is the classic Anatomy of a peopleโ€™sโ€™ movement - divide the students ; show them fears about their careers ; call the POLICE and then close the university down. - Why does the boss always go scot-free ? - Whatโ€™s the point of law if the accused are always protected by those in power ? - When was the training of POSH last done at university? If it is mandatory under POSH, then what happens when institutes/organisations donโ€™t follow it ? - Character assassination - the classic ploy to respond to when female students raise any complaint, how long will this be tolerated? - What are we teaching them as students of constitutional law ? If as students of law, they canโ€™t protest for their own rights, how are they expected to fight for the rights of others tomorrow? Remember, great institutions are not judged by the decorum of dress but the strength of character. Questions galore but here in support of these students and will always stand for the right fight! #RGNUL #protest #Patiala #JaiShankar

Charter School Must Address Triple Shooting Near Bulls College Prep Campus By drkugler On May 2, 2025, three teens were shot at 205 S Hoyne Ave, steps from Bulls College Prep on Chicagoโ€™s Near West Side, raising urgent questions about student safety and school accountability. SubxNews video footage, posted at 5:12 PM on May 2, 2025, captures the grim aftermath: police cordoning off the area, evidence markers scattered, and a community in shockโ€”all within 1,000 feet of the school at 2:45 PM, during school dismissal hours. Bulls College Prep expressed sorrow over the incident but stated it occurred off-campus, suggesting it falls outside their responsibility. This stance has sparked debate about the schoolโ€™s role in ensuring student safety in nearby areas legally designated as โ€œstudent safety zones.โ€ The shooting occurred in a student safety zone, as defined by Chicago Municipal Code 8-4-355, which covers areas within 1,000 feet of any school between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM on school days. The victims, later confirmed as Bulls College Prep students were shot roughly an hour after dismissal, prompting concerns about oversight during student transitions. The Chicago Municipal Code emphasizes enhanced penalties for crimes in student safety zones, reflecting a societal expectation of heightened protection around schools. While the law does not explicitly mandate school responsibilities, it underscores the need for schools like Bulls College Prep to prioritize safe passage to and from campus, particularly in high-risk areas. Bulls College Prepโ€™s position that the incident is unrelated to their operations has frustrated some community members, who argue schools must play a larger role in addressing safety in these zones. However, schools often face challenges, such as limited resources or unclear legal obligations, which may complicate their ability to extend safety measures beyond campus boundaries Chicago Bulls College Prep, a Noble School This incident echoes broader concerns within Chicago Public Schools (CPS). In December 2022, Benito Juarez High School faced scrutiny after a double murder initially described as off-campus was later confirmed to have occurred under a student bridge on school grounds. One victim was a Bulls College Prep student. In both cases, school officials emphasized the incidents were not their responsibility, leaving families and communities seeking answers ChicagoPublicSchools The Near West Side, where the shooting occurred, is a gentrifying area with rising property valuesโ€”homes like 2150 W Monroe St are listed for $2.195 millionโ€”yet violence persists. Schools like Bulls College Prep, a charter within the Noble Schools network, have a moral and practical obligation to collaborate with communities and CPS to address safety in student safety zones. All three victims are recovering at Stroger Hospital. The mother of 16-year-old Cameron King, who underwent surgery, told ABC News her son was walking with classmates after school when an unknown shooter opened fire across from the Bulls College Prep campus. Chicago Police Communication (May 2, 2025, 4:13 PM CDT): Three victimsโ€”a 16-year-old male (gunshot wound to lower back, serious condition), a 15-year-old female (gunshot wound to left leg, good condition), and a 15-year-old male (gunshot wound to right leg, good condition)โ€”were shot on the sidewalk at 205 S Hoyne Ave by an unknown offender. No suspect is in custody. Area Three Detectives are investigating. ( How can Bulls College Prep, CPS, and the community work together to prevent future incidents in student safety zones?
