BYC Shall recently held a solemn vigil to honor our fallen comrades, who were brutally killed by State forces on their way to the Baloch Raaji Muchi. These brave individuals were part of Baloch Raji Muchi, standing against the ongoing genocide of the Baloch Nation with the dream that one day, this horror would end, and our people would live in peace in their homeland. Tragically, these beautiful souls became victims of the very genocide they sought to resist. On 19 September 2025, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) Kech Zone organized a protest rally in Mand, Kech, against the extrajudicial killings of Izhar Baloch, Mullah Bahram, and Jalal Baloch on 6 September, and of Iltaf Baloch on 12 September, carried out by state-backed death squads. The people of Mand joined the protest collectively, rejecting the presence of death squads and the violence being unleashed upon the Baloch people. She expressed extraordinary admiration for the historic gathering of the nation particularly, for the people of Chaghi and Dalbandin. She highlighted that the purpose of observing Baloch Genocide Day is to remind the world and our people of the countless victims and of the fact that it is still going on. Dr. Baloch profoundly explained the connotation of Baloch Genocide and its various forms aimed at physically destroying the Baloch nation. From Gwadar to Koh-i-Sulaiman, Baloch nation is living under the shadow of violence and death. Dr. Sabiha Baloch, BYC’s Central Organizing Member, delivered a powerful speech on ‘Baloch Genocide Remembrance Day’ at Dalbandin. She expressed extraordinary admiration for the historic gathering of the nation particularly, for the people of Chaghi and Dalbandin. She highlighted that the purpose of observing Baloch Genocide Day is to remind the world and our people of the countless victims and of the fact that it is still going on. Dr. Baloch profoundly explained the connotation of Baloch Genocide and its various forms aimed at physically destroying the Baloch nation. From Gwadar to Koh-i-Sulaiman, Baloch nation is living under the shadow of violence and death. She further elucidated the fact that Baloch Yakjehti Committee is not only committed to demand an end to enforced disappearances but also to all forms of Baloch genocide. Patriots ! Pakistan is committing huge mistake by abducting Baloch women. It is a direct attack on Baloch honor, and will face unprecedented resistance by Baloch masses. In Baloch culture, the status of a woman is held in the highest regard. When a woman intervenes in the battlefield to call for peace, firing guns are silenced; and when a woman approaches the opposing side to seek reconciliation in bloody disputes, even the guilty are forgiven. Raising a hand against a woman is, in Baloch culture and tradition, tantamount to a declaration of war. By trampling upon Baloch honor, dignity, and customs, Pakistan has begun abducting and forcibly disappearing Baloch sisters and mothers. The occupying generals of Rawalpindi and Punjab must realize that they have provoked the honor of the Baloch nation a challenge for which they may have to pay a heavy price. Just as Baloch people may spare lives at a woman’s intervention, they can also take decisive action against those who raise a hand against Baloch women or abduct them.
