The tragically fateful day was March 10, 2019. Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 was bound from Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, Kenya. Minutes after takeoff, the Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft crashed near the town of Bishoftu less than 30 kilometers from Addis Ababa. Boeing tried to blame the Ethiopian flight crew for the accident, but the US National Transportation Safety Board determined the Ethiopia flight crew did what they had to do by the Boeing book, but were still unable to control the plane. Ethiopian Airlines Captain Yared Getachew, with over 8,000 flight hours, was the youngest to serve as a Boeing 737 captain in the airline's history. Captain Yared and his co-pilot struggled as the 737 Max 8โ€™s systems repeatedly forced the nose of the plane down. The reason for the crash was Boeingโ€™s depraved and corrupt conduct resulting in the โ€œdeadliest corporate crime in U.S. history.โ€ On June 18, 2024, a US federal judge ordered release of confidential documents from a civil case that could result in criminal prosecution of Boeing officials. International community: History is being written. Many of you, have stood by and watched fascists Mussolini invade Ethiopia and did nothing but watch. Today 2024, the new Mussolini, the African hitler, is using what used to be Ethiopian national defence force which is now Oromo defence force, Oromo militia to target civilians indiscriminately. Only a fool makes the same mistake twice, and only a fool supports evil. We the people of horn of are reminding the international community: fascism flourishes when humanity does nothing, and doesnโ€™t put a stop it. Donโ€™t be those who subject the cradle of humanity, Ethiopia to the brutality of unending fascism, and the brutality of the African hitler: dictator Abiy Ahmed Ali ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡น Do whatโ€™s right, and standby the people - all 84 communities in Ethiopia, to defeat the dictatorship the cruelty, the people face. See the face of that young man, who doesnโ€™t look to be over 20 years old. See the one in military uniform whoโ€™s in his 40s how heโ€™s treating the young man. No one should ever have to face such evil, no one should ever have to be dehumanised in that manner, no one should ever be treated in that manner. International community, support the people of Ethiopia in ushering in new transitional government, so the fascism In Addis Ababa doesnโ€™t become what sets Horn of Africa in flames. Today is the day to the do the right thing. Donโ€™t be on the wrong side of history. Donโ€™t be on the wrong side of history. This is General Abdullahi Ali Caanood, the spokesperson for the Somali Ministry of Defense declaring to mobilize insurgency groups within Somaliland, Jigjiga, and Godey. I am not going to provide word for word translation but in a concise summary of his statement, General Caanood revealed that they have initiated contact with former Somali soldiers in Hargeisa, Awdal, Jigjiga, and Godey, aiming to instigate insurgency activities from within. Additionally, he says efforts have been made to recall ex-Somali army members residing in the diaspora to return and join. When questioned about how a war with Somaliland/Ethiopia is realistic, he mentioned his men are going to utulize speed boats provided by EU Delegation Somalia and Arab countries to launch attacks on Zeila, a coastal city in Somaliland's Awdal region, with the intent of disrupting the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Somaliland and Ethiopia. And If you do not know about General Caanood, he is a Somali military general and ally of president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud. Gen. Caanood is also the brother of hardline cleric "Sheikh Mustafa Ali Caanood" who recently announced a fatwa "authorizing the killing of Sufi followers in Mogadishu". To add to this. On 27 Nov 2023, EU Council said it had adopted an assistance measure worth โ‚ฌ1 million to support the Somali National Army with military equipment designed to deliver lethal force (Statement: My humble question with a concern: Are the taxpayers of European Commission European Parliament European External Action Service - EEAS ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ aware of this? Breaking News: Amhara Fano Forces Conduct Mission in Addis Ababa, Targeting Government Security Forces Unverified video footage has emerged depicting a daring mission carried out by Amhara Fano forces within the capital city of Addis Ababa. Reports suggest that the operation was executed without harm to civilians, with the sole objective of targeting government security forces. According to local sources in Addis Ababa, the Fano forces involved in the operation are believed to be affiliated with the larger Amhara Fano forces, which has been engaged in war with the regime of Abiy Ahmed, whom they accuse of perpetrating genocide against the Amhara people. The purported mastermind behind the mission, Major General Nahusenay, reportedly chose to take his own life rather than surrender to government security forces. Surrender is viewed as a dishonorable act in Amhara culture, dating back to ancient times. The Ethiopian regime has been taken aback by the strength and resilience of the Fano forces and has responded by intensifying crackdowns, targeting innocent Amhara civilians in Addis Ababa. Disturbing reports have emerged of ethnic Amharas being transported to concentration camps reminiscent of World War II standards. The international community is urged to remain vigilant and condemn the atrocities committed by the Ethiopian regime. This incident underscores the fragility of the Ethiopian government and highlights the Amhara Fano forces as potential allies in stabilizing the Horn of Africa. However, the targeting of Amhara civilians in the capital city cannot be ignored and must be met with condemnation and accountability. There has been reports of police beating protestors and using teargas. #JusticeForEthiopianMuslims #JusticeForEthiopia The demolition of Mosques currently happening around Addis Ababa, by the #Oromo Tribal government, has caused widespread shock and disbelief in #Ethiopia. Additionally, disturbing reports of the desecration of the Holy #Quran during the Mosque demolition process has added another layer of anguish to the situation. By demolishing Mosques and disrespecting the Holy Quran, Ethiopia's ruling Oromo Prosperity Party, Prime Minister Abiy and the Governor of Oromia Shimelis Abdisa have demonstrated that their narrow tribal interest supersedes the universal rights to freedom of religion. Ethiopia on the Brink of Full-Fledged Civil War: Ethiopia is on the verge of a full-fledged civil war as ethnic Oromo soldiers march towards the Amhara region, chanting slogans of aggression and targeting the ethnic Amhara population. This alarming development marks a significant escalation in the country's ethnic tensions, which have been fueled by inflammatory rhetoric from leaders within the ethnically Oromo-dominated Ethiopian government. On several occasions, leaders of the Oromo Prosperity Party have made statements inciting violence against the Amhara community. In one particularly instance, a party leader proclaimed that Oromo youth would no longer be sent to destroy the "Neftegna" (a derogatory term for ethnic Amharas) with mere sticks, but with full military backing, including drones. This rhetoric has been matched by actions, with the Ethiopian government's military resources increasingly being deployed as an ethnic tool against the Amharas. Video footage from Oromiya Bale shows Oromo youths, fully equipped and chanting "we will break Neftegna," heading towards the Amhara region with the apparent support of their local population. These videos have also captured Ethiopian military forces declaring their intent to target Amharas, showcasing the clear and dangerous intent of the state apparatus against this ethnic group. The Amhara Fanos, are fighting back against what they perceive as state-sponsored genocide. They have garnered the full support of the Amhara population, who see their actions as a necessary defense against an existential threat. This war is rapidly evolving into an ethnic civil war with a state-sponsored dimension. The Ethiopian military, security, and government structures, heavily dominated by ethnic Oromos, are utilizing all available resources to arm Oromo youths, effectively transforming a political struggle into a civil war. The situation is exacerbated by the governmentโ€™s explicit endorsement of these actions, as evidenced by the hateful and violent statements made by its leaders. The international community must recognize the dire dynamics unfolding in Ethiopia. The clear shift towards a state-sponsored ethnic war requires urgent intervention. The world cannot afford to ignore the clear signs of impending genocide and must take necessary measures against the Ethiopian regime . The global response will be crucial in determining whether Ethiopia can avert a descent into further genocidal chaos and bloodshed. Ethnic Targeting and State Cruelty in Ethiopia: "Listen to the heart-wrenching plea of a mother, her voice laden with unbearable agony, as she begs Ethiopian authorities for the return of her son's lifeless body. In the shadows of neglect, the cries of Ethiopian mothers echo, their anguish overlooked by a world that inadvertently emboldens a tyrannical regime." The state media's release of video footage exposed the harrowing reality of for ethnic Amharas. In one agonizing frame, Nahusenay Andarge Tareke, an ethnic Amhara youth, lay bleeding to death while the state's national TV cameras rolled. Instead of rushing to aid the wounded, security forces callously watched, even laughing callously as a life slipped away. It was a reprehensible act, a betrayal of humanity, where saving a life should have been paramount, regardless of circumstance. The footage captured Nahusenay's excruciating pain, his desperate pleas for help falling on deaf ears. Such brutality serves as a stark warning, a chilling message meant to quell dissent against the ruthless regime reigning over Ethiopia. Abezergashaw's lifeless body, another victim of the violence, was also showcased, further highlighting the regime's disregard for human life. As if the atrocity wasn't enough, reports emerged of torture inflicted upon Habtabmu Andarge, a captured youth, adding another layer of horror to an already grim reality. Disturbing accounts of torture from Ethiopian prisons continue to surface, painting a picture of a regime devoid of compassion or mercy. The cruelty didn't stop at the scene of the shooting. Families, grieving and desperate for closure, traveled from the Amhara region of Gondar to claim the bodies of their loved ones, only to find themselves arrested upon arrival. In a heartbreaking audio clip, the anguished cries of a mother pleading for her son's body echo the pain felt by countless families torn apart by senseless violence. The arrests of grieving family members underscore the regime's ruthless grip on power, extinguishing any hope of justice or solace for those affected. This tragic incident is part of a larger pattern of ethnic targeting and persecution in Ethiopia. For months, ethnic Amharas have faced mass arrests, arbitrary confiscation of wealth, and systemic oppression. Businesses owned by Amharas are seized, their owners imprisoned, and their livelihoods destroyed simply because of their ethnicity. The orchestrated attack on the Amhara community, including the demolition of infrastructure and the targeting of youth, amounts to nothing short of genocide. Ethiopia has become a living hell for ethnic Amharas, with many fleeing for their lives, while the world remains largely indifferent to their plight. In the face of such unspeakable cruelty, one cannot help but question the absence of humanity and the deafening silence of the international community. As atrocities continue to unfold with impunity, the cry for justice grows louder, a plea for the world to open its eyes to the suffering of the Amhara people. Reports today indicate that Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is heading to Addis Ababa to meet Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed. This is a grave mistake. Ten months ago, the president was detained in Addis while attending the AU Summit. Throughout 2024, Ethiopia and Abiy schemed to dismember Somalia and annex its sea and land. They havenโ€™t stopped. Less than a month ago, Abiy stalled the Ankara negotiations for seven hours, objecting to the inclusion of the phrase โ€œSomaliaโ€™s unity will be respectedโ€ in the communiquรฉ. Now, the Turkish president is reportedly planning visits to Ethiopia and Somalia to mediate and normalize relations, expected in Addis and Mogadishu within days or weeks. So why rush to Addis nowโ€”a country actively scheming against Somalia? Doesnโ€™t the opinion of the Somali people matter? These are the same people who stood by you. Why throw them under the bus? Abiy and his deep state know how to manipulate and push their interests. Theyโ€™re creating a wedge between you and your people, setting you up for betrayal once they have you exposed. What is wrong with you? Why canโ€™t you read the room? Somalia has built strong allies like Egypt, Djibouti, and Eritrea, who stuck their necks out for Somalia and for you as a leader. They risked and strained their relationships with Ethiopia and Abiyโ€™s enablersโ€”those who wish ill for Somalia. Are you throwing that all away too? Why act as though nothing has happened? This is the same Ethiopia that sought to seize Somaliaโ€™s seas 500 years ago, still wants them now, and will likely want them 500 years from today. The irony is that you and your officials privately admit to Somalis that their worst fears about Abiyโ€™s intentions are trueโ€”nothing has changed. Instead of engaging with Abiy, focus on making peace with other Somalis. Go to Puntland and assist in their fight against ISIS. Provide them with some of the resources the world has given to Somalia to tackle this terror group. Reconcile with Mogadishu politicians, including the two former presidents, past prime ministers, and opposition MPs. Make peace with Jubaland. Thatโ€™s how Somalia can move forward, enabling elections and an agreed-upon constitution. You have real internal issues to addressโ€”issues that can be solved. Yet, you seem to be chasing a mirage: Ethiopia is a rational state with two clear objectivesโ€”to keep Somalia destabilized and to seize its sea. You have said this yourself over the past twelve months. Have you forgotten? Mr. President, Abiy is an intelligence officer, and he is entrapping you. He will not cajole or arm-twist regional leaders who oppose you, and even if he tries, it will come at great cost to Somalia and to you.

Following my recent post regarding General Kassaye Chemeda, who is now a delegate representing Addis Ababa city in Abiy's national dialogue, I got many questions that need clarity: General Kassaye Chemeda was a former Derg military high-ranking officer who was, in 2019, reinstated to advise Prime Minister Abiy. General Kassaye made several speeches calling for mass murder, two of which are worth discussing. The first statement was against Oromo youths (Oct 2019), and the second was against Tigrayans (Nov 2020). In the following video-1, he spoke while training the Ethiopian army and teaching how to mass kill in his words, "devils" (meaning Tigrayans). He says "Shoot with a single bullet; if you are Christian, before you shoot against them (Tigrayans), say in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; if you are Muslim, say Bismillah, I can assure you that these devils won't stop before you." Clap by the army. In one of his media engagements (video-2), he said: "Those youths carrying sticks (Oromo youths) to protest against this government (Abiy administration), the Ethiopian Defense Forces should tell them to put the sticks down; if they refuse, they should shoot on their heads, it is an emergency time, nothing is above Ethiopia." Now, he is chosen to represent Addis Ababa in Abiy's national dialogue! He should have been investigated for major atrocity crimes perpetrated in Ethiopia. A Cry for Justice: Teenager's Heart-Wrenching Plea Amidst the Tragedy in Amhara region of Ethiopia. In a heart-wrenching video that has recently surfaced, a young ethnic Amhara teenager stands amidst the ruins of his brother home, tears streaming down his face, shouting to the heavens, and desperately pleading with God to end the nightmare that has befallen his family and his nation. The video captures the raw anguish and despair of a teenager whose world has been shattered by a brutal murder, a murder that occurred within the sanctity of his own home through a drone strike, a painful reminder of the dire situation in the war-torn Amhara region of Ethiopia. With a trembling voice, the teenager cries out, "Nobody can live in peace while Abiy Ahmed is still in power." His anguished words are a stark indictment of the more than two years of war that have plagued the region, leading to man-made starvation and unimaginable suffering for its inhabitants. The teenager's voice cracks as he mentions his brother, Belete, known as the honest farmer, who had struggled throughout his life to survive and provide for his family. Belete was tragically killed, leaving a void that can never be filled. In his plea to God, the teenager expresses his deep agony, claiming that he lost not just one but two brothers due to the actions of the Nobel Prize-winning Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed. He repeatedly cries out "Egziabher," the Amharic name for God, while wishing for the end of Abiy Ahmed's rule for the pain he has caused. The teenager recounts the horrors of the air strike, describing how one brother was burned along with their home, while the other was brutally murdered. In the backdrop of the video footage, a scene of devastation unfolded. The remnants of a demolished house testified to the brutal air strike that had befallen the teenager's family. The roof and significant portions of the house lay in ruins, a grim reminder of the tragedy that had unfolded. The teenager's sister, carrying a picture of the deceased, followed a solemn Ethiopian tradition to express her profound grief and the grim reality of an air strike that had claimed her brother's life. This video is just a glimpse into the unimaginable suffering that has unfolded in the Amhara region. Reports from local sources suggest that the tragedy captured in this video is only the tip of the iceberg. Atrocities, war crimes, and massacres that amount to genocide have allegedly been committed by government forces, with full knowledge and complicity of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed. The plea of this grief-stricken teenager and the harrowing scenes captured in the video highlight the urgent need for the world to break its silence and take decisive action against the brutal regime in Ethiopia. The suffering of the people in the Amhara region demands a response from the global community, a response that acknowledges the immense human cost of the ongoing war and seeks to bring an end to the cycle of genocide and destruction that has gripped this troubled nation. The dark day of 4 February 1991 is a day I will never forget. It is the day when the SNM, together with the TPLF-led regime, massacred the Gadabuursi people in Borama, Saylac, Lughaya, and Baki. It is a black day, a day that the community should remember together for the atrocities committed against our people. They killed 1,000 people within 24 hours the SNM, which is now called โ€˜Somaliland,โ€™ together with the TPLF-led regime of Ethiopia. They also inflicted severe injuries on many people. An estimated 2,500 civilians mostly women and children were wounded. They displaced 500,000 people and turned them into refugees. When they were supposed to be held accountable, they hid the truth because they were under the protection and power of Ethiopia, which is why the current system was built on that massacre. This system that calls itself โ€˜Somalilandโ€™ is still continuing the massacres and the oppression of civilians. Evidence of this is that in December 2025, they killed peaceful civilians who were demonstrating they shot 35 young people, and many others were wounded, with around 250 young people still in hospital. Our people have still not received justice, but we hope that peace-loving nations will investigate these incidents and the ongoing killings. Hon.
