“𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜…” ⬇️ Shri Kiren Rijiju called out the Opposition’s desperate lies in the House after Akhilesh Yadav and others tried to portray the FCRA Bill as an “anti-minority” conspiracy, without citing a single provision to support their claim. Shri Rijiju challenged them to...

It must come on record that despite widespread protests & repeated demand from Opposition to send #TransgenderBill to a #Parliament Committee, Govt insisted on pushing it through by making unsubstantiated claims! See video👇 First, it's rare that debate on one Bill is stopped to take up another Bill. The debate on #Finance Bill was going on and Transgender Bill was listed AFTER it, but Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju asked for the Transgender Bill to be taken up & 'passed' today and for Finance Minister to reply to debate on Finance Bill tomorrow. It is only when a Minister is not available to respond to debate on a Bill, that it is postponed, but Finance Minister is sitting right there! What is the rush to pass #TransBill in #LokSabha today itself? Second, as Rijiju seeks sense of the House, several MPs from the Opposition, in fact, oppose and categorically demand that Bill be sent to a Select Committee to consult with stakeholders from Trans community. They even say that they raised this demand in Business Advisory Committee meeting as well and Rijiju concedes to this. Rijiju himself says that Congress, SP, AITC and NCP(SP) made a request for Bill to be sent to Committee. And then Rijiju makes several unsubstantiated claims: 1. It's not a major amendment Bill - amendments to exclude self-identification are not major? 2. Extensive debate have already happened on Bill - When? The Bill was never placed in public domain as Pre-Legislative Consultation Policy 2014 mandates. Where has this debate happened? Who participated in it? 3. The amendment has come after a year long debate in Standing Committee - When? Which Committee? In the last 1 year, the Standing Committee on Social Justice & Empowerment has not produced any specific report on any topic related to #Transgender persons. Even the Statement of Objects & Reasons of the Bill doesn't mention any recommendation from a Standing Committee report. 4. We are not going against any community - why are people from trans community protesting the Bill then? So, if the Bill is very good, very important, for the welfare of people from Transgender community, then why is the Govt not willing to send the Bill to a Committee? Rijiju keeps saying - Bill has to be passed today, let's not delay. An MP can be heard in the background asking - "itni jaldi kya hai"? Indeed, why the rush? Why does Govt keep taking short cuts for law making and avoid public consultations?

Constitutional Amendment Bill (N0.3) unanimously passes to committee stage The contentious Constitutional Amendment Bill (N0.3) unanimously passed to the committee stage in the National Assembly earlier in the afternoon after the opposition neglected or failed to call for a critical division of the house for MPs opposed to the legislative changes to vote against it. About 30 MPs were opposed to the bill in its entirety after a record-breaking fierce debate. The failure by the opposition to call for division of the house let the bill, which has far-reaching political implications, pass to the committee stage unanimously, without formal opposition. In terms of process, the presiding officer first judges the will of the house using a voice vote ("Ayes" vs. "Nays"). If an MP challenges the presiding officer's ruling, they then can call for a division of the house. Bells are rung to summon all lawmakers to the chamber, the doors are locked, and MPs must physically move to opposite sides of the house (or have their names recorded) to provide an exact, verified tally of votes. A minimum simple majority was required to pass the bill to the committee stage. The committee stage of the bill is the third step in the legislative process. It is a detailed, clause-by-clause examination of the proposals that takes place after the second reading and general debate. During the committee stage, the house resolves into a committee of the whole house rather than meeting as the standard legislative body, allowing for more conversational and repeated speaking opportunities. Members meticulously scrutinise each section or clause of the bill. The committee goes through the bill clause-by-clause sequentially, voting on each clause or block of clauses. MPs and ministers can propose specific alterations, additions, or removals to individual clauses. Any proposed amendment is debated, and the committee votes on whether to accept or reject the change. Once the committee finishes reviewing all clauses and finalising amendments, the bill moves to the report stage, where the committee officially reports its work back to the house for final confirmation before the third reading. Because it is where the exact wording of the proposed law or amendment is finalised, this phase is often heavily debated. For example, this bill required intense, late-night debate in the National Assembly last night before advancing to the committee stage. After the amendments have been adopted, another vote is called in the house to pass the bill by a two-thirds majority before the same process is repeated in the upper house, senate. If senate makes some changes to the bill, it then goes back to the lower house, National Assembly, for voting before being to sent to the President for assent.

In India, the world’s largest democracy, senior Hindu leaders from Narendra Modi’s ruling #Hindu nationalist party are openly calling for the social and economic boycott of minority Muslims. Please take a look at the accompanying video to find out how much the Hindu #BJP leaders hate #Muslims in #India, how they incite attacks against them, and how they target to marginalise them in the Hindu majority nation. Saumitra Khan, a prominent BJP leader in West Bengal and a sitting MP, is advising Hindus not to rent out apartments to Muslims or sell them lands or houses. Another BJP leader, former MP Arjun Singh, is asking Hindus to socially and economically boycott Muslims. He is advising Hindus to adopt the means to push minority Muslims to the bottom of society. He tells Hindus not to buy anything from Muslim-owned shops, not to use vehicles run by Muslims, and not to give Muslims any work or engage in any business transaction with them. Over the past years, many international organisations have repeatedly reported that Hindu nationalist groups in India have routinely persecuted minority Muslims and Christians and that the perpetrators have largely gone unpunished. Since Narendra Modi’s party came to power in 2014, the persecution of the religious minorities has increased steadily. We all know that the Hindutva groups who attack and persecute minorities are patronised by the BJP and act as the party’s foot soldiers on many fronts. A large section of Hindus derives a sadistic pleasure from witnessing the persecution and suffering of minorities. They believe that only the BJP can “treat" Muslims and Christians “the way it is needed". Indian law prescribes punishment or imprisonment for delivering hate speech. However, after issuing hate speeches —particularly against minorities— Hindu leaders usually escape accountability. A few Hindutva leaders have faced brief jail terms for openly calling for the extermination of minorities or urging Hindus to carry out violent attacks against them. However, after being released, they usually resume issuing the same sort of hate speeches against Muslims as before. In India, they are considered bigger Hindu leaders who are more aggressive in their speeches against Muslims. In the BJP, these leaders win handsome rewards like election tickets or are given other plum party positions. The BJP-led Indian government and the Indian mainstream media often claim that minority Hindus in #Bangladesh are being persecuted. But can anyone present a single instance where a senior Muslim political or religious leader in Bangladesh has issued openly aggressive calls against minority Hindus, the way the BJP leaders in India often call for the social and economic boycott of minority Muslims? Can anyone show evidence of a senior Muslim leader in Bangladesh asking Muslims not to rent out houses to Bangladeshi Hindus, not to sell them land or a flat to them, or to boycott them socially and economically? No, they will not be able to present such evidence. We can safely assert that Muslim-majority Bangladesh is more secular than Hindu-majority India.

“Do You Support Israel’s Right to Exist?” Mehdi Hasan FIRES BACK Mehdi Hasan: I've been debating hardcore Zionists, Israeli supporters of Israel, for years. And the conversation always comes back to one talking point: “Do you, or do you not support Israel’s right to exist?” If you don't, you're an extremist, you're an anti-Semite, you want to wipe Israel and millions of Israeli Jews off the map. But you don't have to concede on this point. It's a bullshit argument. Number one: Right to exist where? Israel is the only country in the world that refuses to define its borders. So if you want me to recognize Israel's right to exist, does that extend into Gaza, the West Bank, the Golan Heights, East Jerusalem all considered illegally occupied territory under international law? So, right to exist where? Number two: What is this right to exist? Where does it come from? States don't have a right to exist. People, individuals have a right to exist. Human beings have that right. Not states, not countries. The USSR broke up into Russia and 14 other states. Yugoslavia broke up. Czechoslovakia split into Slovakia and the Czech Republic. What happened to their “right to exist”? People have rights, not states. And number three: If there is a right to exist, does Palestine have a right to exist? Israel exists. It's a country with sovereignty, it's on the map. The idea that in a world where Israel is genociding the Palestinians in Gaza, ethnically cleansing them in the West Bank, and blocking their legal right to return the idea that Israel's right to exist is the one we should be concerned about, and not Palestine's, is both ridiculous and, let's be honest, racist.

#WATCH | Delhi: DMK MP P Wilson held a press conference regarding his meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, along with representatives from Christian organisations, to discuss issues related to the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA). He says, "...We, the Joint Action Forum on Minorities, have been convening various meetings among ourselves throughout India since April... we decided to give a detailed representation to the Home Minister. We had given a representation to the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister's office forwarded it to the Home Minister, and we were called by the Home Minister for a meeting today, and we all had a meeting with the Home Minister. We clearly spelt out the illegalities in the amendment bill. We pointed out clause by clause and also certain provisions in the existing Act which, according to us, are unnecessary. Even if a license is going to be cancelled, even if a registration is going to be cancelled, there was no necessity to take over the properties of these organizations, including their activities... this was also clearly explained to the Home Minister that these bodies have employed expert hands for running these organizations, institutions, hospitals, and by taking over it will clearly destroy the organizations, including the hospitals. We have also said that it is not good even for the people as well as for the majority for whom we are serving… We clearly explained the repercussions and how draconian it is, how it affects or violates the constitutional guarantees to the minorities, including to the extent of taking over the places of worship; also, we pointed out. The Home Minister spent about an hour discussing with us, and we had clearly explained to him with an open mind. He heard us, and he said that he'll look into this matter."

Today, Hon'ble TMC (The Mamata Company) Speaker; Shri Biman Banerjee suspended Smt. Agnimitra Pal, Shri Bankim Ghosh and Shri Biswanath Karak, apart from me, till the end of this Budget Session of the West Bengal Assembly or for 30 days, whichever is earlier. Our fault was that we raised our Voice in favour of the Hindus and demanded to hold a discussion within the Assembly on an Adjournment Motion, which highlighted intimidation & obstruction by TMC Party Leaders at various places in the State of West Bengal, over organising Saraswati Puja earlier this month. The Anti Hindu Mamata Govt through their subservient Speaker suppressed our Voice and suspended us. This is the fourth time, Hon'ble Speaker have suspended me since 2022. Earlier for a total of eight months, I was kept out of the House, as per the instructions of Mamata Banerjee. Our undemocratic suspension is a concerted attempt to silence the voice of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly as BJP West Bengal is the principal and only opposition. Hon'ble Speaker must remember that the House belongs to the Opposition. Regarding the conduct of the Mamata Banerjee as an Opposition Leader, I would like to remind Hon'ble Speaker about two instances:- a) 04/08/2005; Lok Sabha: When Mamata Banerjee was denied permission to hold a discussion on the illegal immigrants from Bangladesh (how ironical) in 2005, she tore papers and threw them at the then Deputy Speaker; Shri Charanjeet Singh Atwal, but blamed the then Speaker; Shri Somnath Chatterjee for not allowing the discussion. b) 30/11/2006; West Bengal Legislative Assembly: Despite not being a Member of the Legislative Assembly, Mamata Banerjee stormed into the House and encouraged her underlings to shatter the heritage British-era furniture, including the benches where stalwarts like Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Das, Sarat Bose, Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee, Dr. Nilratan Sircar once sat as members of the Assembly. That day her minions engaged in unprecedented vandalism within the Assembly premises. Nuh Mewat just exposed itself to the entire nation and the picture is damning. Rahul Khan was not some petty thief. He was running a full scale criminal gang. Cyber fraud. ATM robberies. Multiple cases registered in Meghalaya. This was not a secret. The neighbourhood knew. The village knew. The entire Shantidoot community knew exactly what Rahul Khan was and what he did for a living. And not one shantidoot ever reported him. Not one Shantidoot ever cooperated with law enforcement. Not one person ever said this man is a criminal and he needs to be stopped. Instead, the moment Meghalaya Police arrived to arrest this known criminal, a WhatsApp message went out and the entire Shantidoots locality came RUNNING. To do what? To rescue a cyber fraud accused. To snatch an ATM robbery accused from police custody. They came with one purpose and one purpose only, make sure the criminal does not go to jail. This was not a confused mob reacting to a sudden event. These Mu$lims knew EXACTLY who Rahul Khan is. They knew he runs a gang. They knew he is wanted by police. And they showed up BECAUSE of it. Because he is one of them. Not one of them as a neighbour. One of them as part of the operation. The entire ecosystem from the man committing fraud to the people sheltering him to the mob that attacked police is ONE criminal enterprise functioning as a unit. The WhatsApp message did not say an innocent man is being taken. It said come and rescue OUR man. OUR gang member. That one message proved what the entire country can now see — this is not one criminal hiding among innocent people. This is an entire network where crime is a collective enterprise, arrests are treated as attacks on the collective, and law enforcement is the enemy. Every single person who stepped out after that message is a participant in organized crime. Every person who stood in front of the Meghalaya Police is an accessory. Every person who raised a hand is an attacker of the state. The Meghalaya Police did what needed to be done. They opened fire when the mob endangered their lives. Five went down. One is critical. The rest ran like they had never heard a gunshot before. And the police left with their man in custody. No negotiation. No compromise. To every investigative agency in this country, do not stop at Rahul Khan. Investigate every phone that received that WhatsApp message. Investigate every person who showed up. Trace the financial trail. Because where one gang member operates with this level of community protection, dozens more are hiding in plain sight. The law came to Nuh Mewat and Nuh Mewat showed its true face. Now let the law respond accordingly.

Extremely exciting times in Indian politics. One MAN stood up against the combined might of the Indian Corporates and the political outfit that they rented - the #RSS #BJP Rahul Gandhi had something that none of his adversaries had - Love and Commitment to the Nation. It took time, but right now, the people of India are responding back to him - with faith in his leadership and resolve to join the fight to live free under the provisions and protection of our Constitution. Every single institution of India's democracy ranging from #Media, #ElectionCommission, #Bureacracy, and a significant portion of the #judiciary has entered in a pact with the traitors who are working overnight to liquidate the Constitution, destroy democracy and establish oligarchy. Even sentiments of religious fanatics were exploited by promising them a Bharat that would mirror the Islamic Law style of Governance, but using the (non-existent) Hindu tenets. So, they created a socio-political narrative and called it Hindutva. This has nothing to do with the religious faith of the Hindus. It pledged Nationalistic commitment to an Imaginary Nation called Akhand Bharat - a geography that covers many independent republics that practice totally different cultures, faiths and language. One MAN singularly shouldered the responsibility of calling their bluff, to uproot them and regerminate and nurture the true spirit of India that is Bharat. To pursue the task left unfinished by the founding elders of the Nation. After driving out the British, India once again took the journey to become the land of multiple cultures and religions, living in peace and harmony, and growing economically to become a prosperous yet benevolent Nation. The #RSS #BJP fuelled by greedy corporated have tried their best to disrupt this journey and pull back India into the mediveal age. Thankfully, Indians have NOW understood the FRAUD that the khakhi Thugs had played on them. People of India are UNITING under #INDIA to chain the TRAITORS who did TREASON against the Nation ...and pull them down from their High Chairs. #Congress party along with other political parties will together set India back to its Golden Age. Rahul Gandhi's humility and fortitude has earned him a place in every Indian's heart and soul.

𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 It is time we ask ourselves some honest questions. Are we preparing our children for the future, or for a world that no longer exists? 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭 The traditional “one-size-fits-all” school system is 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝. It was built for a different time and a different kind of economy. Today’s world demands something 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫, something 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞, and 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬. We also need to take a 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬. Many of them 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐧𝐨 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 or 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 advantage. Still, many parents continue to spend large amounts of money on them, not because it is the best choice, but simply because it is what they have always known. 𝐀 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐚𝐲 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 Now picture a different approach. One that is 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧, 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐟𝐮𝐥, and tailored to your 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝’𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 and 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞. What if we focused on day schools that use technology well and that are rooted in the social and economic realities of their communities? The result would be education that feels more personal, more practical, and far more powerful. 𝐀 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐓𝐨 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭, current or future, this is not just about education policy. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝’𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞. And your 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲’𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲. Think about this: What if you chose a good day school instead of boarding school? And what if you took the money you would have spent on termly boarding fees and quietly invested it in 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐲 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬, 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐬, or 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐬 every year for 16 years? By the time your child graduates, they could have a 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 stronger than any inheritance. Money they can use to start a business, fund further education, or simply explore life with confidence. They might never need to look for a job. They could be the ones creating jobs. And through this one bold decision, you would give them something even greater: 𝐚 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞. A future built not on old traditions but on 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦 and 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐟. 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐭 This is a moment to reset, to rethink not just how we educate our children, but how we raise them. 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞. 𝐈𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐢𝐭. So let this be your reminder to pause, reflect, and act. The future belongs not to those who follow blindly but to those who think ahead, choose wisely, and invest with purpose. The real question is: 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦?
