Right now

Already out of control

Currently, it looks like that 22-storey building wants to fall. I am around there, my house and Mama's shop is close. Fire fighter trucks seems like design, not helping. Only God can stop it

We ca feel the heat of the fire, we not even close to it

The 22 story building is completely covered with Fire 💔💔

If dem no put faya how dem wan reclaim insurance money? Ontop detty december and new year pressure.

This is becoming an annual tradition

You sure say Mountain of Fire Church no dey around that side, maybe they don shout Fire of God come down too much ooo Just saying btw Merry Christmas

Fire fighters couldn't even save Great Nigeria house #ISLAND #greatnigeriahouse #lagosislandfire

Insurance ti je gbese. I pray no life is lost.

At 3:43 am when I drive past there the fire still dey on high level. Lagos fire service should do better please

The most useless and clueless organization is Firefighters

Nothing is working in This country the system is dead

Here is the update! They aren’t battling anything!!!! They couldn’t control the fire. A very failed country!!!!!

Whoah. That's sad

Damn 😐

😭😭🫣

That's not what I saw when I was there. That building looks like it will fall definitely.

Dis building burns everytime

This building is still on fire 🔥

💔😕

What's the latest on this fire incident?

@followlasg @jidesanwoolu these fire outbreaks are now becoming an annual event. It’s beginning to look less random especially when no tangible investigation is done to find out what causes these fires and there is also lack of preventive measures.

God abeg 😭😭😭😭

That's a sad report

You mean as big as that building is and modern as we are in this 21st century, there is no extinguisher or safety measures put in place for this kind of situation Unfortunately the name of the building should changed sef

Hope there are no casualties

Year in Year out, same story No Emergency Preparedness Plan

Goooossshh 😭🤬🤬... People's investment have gone just like that.... This is quite sad

There is no December that there’s no fire outbreak at this plaza 🧐
