It's like they don't know that rank 1 is 1.5s(1s imp) cast time vs 3s(2.5s imp) at max rank So the amount of proc that can be fished for is also 2.5 time less, and we can't kite anymore because we have to stay in place an extra 1.5s each cast. +mana It's a triple nerf...

Down ranking should be gone forever. Stuff like this holds back future buffs. It’s the same with “power shifting” with Druids and the old seal twisting with Paladins. I’ve never cared for having three different ranks of one spell bound. I’m glad the change is in.

Frost Mages needed some change, prior to this they could reset endlessly via polymorph and get back to full health and full mana until they blow through the opponent’s cooldowns and win the duel. That doesn’t sound very fair to me. At least now there’s a chance they’ll go oom and not get to reset.
