Hard to say for sure, but production of the $59K AWD Cybertruck may be just getting started here on this early and soggy morning at Giga Texas … this version is much harder to visually distinguish from the premium AWD versions, so I’ll come back on Wednesday and we’ll see if this is in fact happening. I hope so as there are many new Cybertruck owners eager to get their truck! Cybercab production is also proceeding slowly as Tesla told us it would be early on, but there are still dozens of new Cybercabs in the outbound lot today. I hope we start seeing more of these soon & perhaps introduction into the Tesla Robotaxi fleet soon. I (along with many others) want to give them a try!

I can't believe I'm sharing this, but here is 13 year old Tom, vlogging on his youtube channel from his bedroom. This a video from a channel long since shut down, from the year of our lord 2010. None of it is my proudest work - but I got better as I got older. I learned skills and made friends, some of whom I still know to this day. Making these silly videos over time taught me so much about video editing, talking to cameras, and being effective on social media. I failed a lot before I got better. But I had the chance to try. I developed skills that have helped me enormously in adult life. Had I not been able to make silly videos on youtube - and get motivated/excited about thousands of people watching them - my subsequent life would have certainly looked very different. Some might argue that would have been for the better, but it would have certainly been for the more boring.

HAPPY FINAL SPACE FRIDAY! How bout some music?! By Jake Sidwell Jake is working on the soundtrack with the novel. Right now, I'm descending into madness. Trying to gather all the pages into an order so the letterer can continuing lettering. This is an unexpected time vortex because certain pages are different sizes, resolutions, and labeled differently since this was before we set protocols. We were learning as we went, it's all good, it looks great together but I also need to find more help. A few artists have contracts with bigger publishers and my novel is getting pushed to the side with a few of them...which I get it, it's work. I can't get mad at the hustle nor a artist getting work. So I'm meeting with some new inkers and colorist next week. Daz, Noah and Chiara are still going strong! Slowly but surely we're making this thing! It's exciting to see the pages stack and reading them as complete pages. I still have to finish writing the last chapter and I feel myself holding off as long as possible because I know that's it. That's the last time I'll have time to spend with these characters but it's time to finish it, Daz is almost done with Part 6. My time with these character is coming to an end. You would be surprised how many times I’ve had this conversation 🤦🏻‍♂️ Not all AAU programs are equal. There are some good ones out there for sure. I benefited as a player by playing for a club. But then… There are some bad ones. And with the bad ones comes a lot of wasted time, money and effort. Empty promises when it comes to development and exposure to college coaches. Some kids on these teams can’t make 10 free throws in a row or dribble with their weak hand but we have them playing 80 games a summer expecting it to magically improve. Then they go back to their HS Coaches as the same player they were the year before but expecting different results. Now kids should make more time for their own skill work as well but some of these programs require 4-8 hours a week at their “practices” plus travel and games every weekend…. Have you seen some of these AAU practices? Skill development is non existent in a lot of these. But isn’t the point to make the kids better? Just get better every summer and have a great high school season then worry about getting recruited. Some of these kids are on their JV teams expecting to get scholarship offers 🤦🏻‍♂️ There are bad trainers and bad coaches out there as well. I understand that. This is just my perspective and experience with the kids that have been in the gym with me over the last 7 years.

Almost three years ago I had a really tiny Chewie (he’s three now) and I was terrified that the stray dogs would hurt him every time I took him for a walk. I walked with sticks and I used to be quite alarmed if any stray dogs would come near us. Gosh they growled! I got the best advice from a friend. He said instead of carrying a stick and getting alarmed, start making friends with the stray dogs. Your dog (Chewie) will mirror your reaction to the strays. I wasn’t convinced but slowly I started meeting the strays when I’d walk out alone. I slowly started getting Chewie out and started walking him just near the area of the strays so that they got used to seeing me around with Chewie. Next I started walking with the strays. I did have some growling at Chewie but I kept myself calm. Chewie was quick to learn! He is such a friendly Shihtzu ! Not because he was somehow born that way but because I kept his world without fear. Now the strays play with him. They wag their tails when they see us. They surround us when we walk in their “area”. Protecting us. You know that’s what they’re doing. Once Chewie ran out and two strays started playing with him pushing him back to the house. I wish I had the camera! They knew he had to go home! This takes time. Months even. But all strays are trying to do is protect themselves. Once we understand that. We can coexist peacefully with them. I see such idiotic takes on this platform. I resist my urge to tell people that the monsters are us humans, we’re the ones who can’t bear to share our spaces with the very animals whose spaces we have taken away. #liveandletlive

I walked with sticks and I used to be quite alarmed if any stray dogs would come near us. Gosh they growled! I got the best advice from a friend. He said instead of carrying a stick and getting alarmed, start making friends with the stray dogs. Your dog (Chewie) will mirror your reaction to the strays. I wasn’t convinced but slowly I started meeting the strays when I’d walk out alone. I slowly started getting Chewie out and started walking him just near the area of the strays so that they got used to seeing me around with Chewie. Next I started walking with the strays. I did have some growling at Chewie but I kept myself calm. Chewie was quick to learn! He is such a friendly Shihtzu ! Not because he was somehow born that way but because I kept his world without fear. Now the strays play with him. They wag their tails when they see us. They surround us when we walk in their “area”. Protecting us. You know that’s what they’re doing. Once Chewie ran out and two strays started playing with him pushing him back to the house. I wish I had the camera! They knew he had to go home! This takes time. Months even. But all strays are trying to do is protect themselves. Once we understand that. We can coexist peacefully with them. I see such idiotic takes on this platform. I resist my urge to tell people that the monsters are us humans, we’re the ones who can’t bear to share our spaces with the very animals whose spaces we have taken away. #liveandletlive

As climate changes, so does the natural disturbance regime. The frequency and intensity of extreme weather events has been increasing affecting scores of wildlife over last few years. A century old banyan tree came crashing down in Solapur due to stormy winds and along with that hundreds of birds - painted storks and herons nesting on them. Some adults, older fledglings and sub-adults made their way to safety but many perished, and many suffered injuries or are now orphans. RESQ CT RESQ Charitable Trust team and Solapur FD worked together to extract as many as possible. There are ones beyond help, but there are over 56 who have a great chance of going back post rehabilitation. We had a terribly long night stabilising them yesterday one by one, and we anticipate a few months of cacophony ahead (for whoever knows the noise these buggers can make!). Animals are resilient, they will (and have no choice but to!) adapt with changes in the environment over time. But for the ones that are still coping now - the goal for now is to rescue, rehabilitate and reintroduce! #wildliferescue #indiaves

Sometimes even i wonder whether something i do, while not intended to hurt anyone, might still make someone around me uncomfortable.
