Demi Lovato literally collaborated with the Jonas Brothers to write "La La Land," a song about staying true to yourself despite the pressures of Hollywood. She was calling out Hollywood's fake expectations at the very start of her career and doing it under the Disney umbrella. The music video even featured the entire Sonny With a Chance cast to help promote the show. Trying to erase Demi from Disney Channel's golden era is just rewriting history, y'all. It's also one of my favorite Demi songs ever. The message was way ahead of its time, and keep in mind she was only 15 years old when she made it. Her impact during her Disney years should never be underestimated. When Demi had her moment, she absolutely owned Disney. You can never erase the mark she left on that era. She is by far one of, if not, the strongest singer to came out from Disney Channel and I stand by that statement 🤷

October 12th was the day that Kate left Liam, abandoning him while he was in a vulnerable state when Geoff specifically asked her not to. Liam made a joke, “You act like this is the last time you’re ever gonna see me,” because Kate was supposedly pouring her heart out to him, telling him “how much she loves him and how much she’s going to miss him.” Liam was going to be in Argentina for only a few days more. In reality, Kate could’ve stayed. Nala isn’t an excuse; she boards her a decent bit and has multiple friends that continuously watch her. She could’ve had whoever was watching her in the first place, stay a few more days with her. If she loved Liam so much, and she was going to miss him so much, then why didn’t she just stay? Why didn’t she stay to protect him and ensure that he was okay, as she was supposed to do? Because he WAS going through a hard time and leaving him alone was the last thing she should’ve done. Yes, he was with Roger, but remember that Kate said she didn’t trust Roger. She claims that was a bad influence, which IS true. Kate hasn’t shown any remorse for leaving, so her posting this video is quite strange to me. This needs to be talked about. In Kate’s newest TikTok, she talks about how Liam encouraged her to do social media, how she wanted to give up and he wouldn’t let her. Liam actively tried to stay off of social media and Kate wouldn’t allow him to, forcing him to be in her videos for the attention it gave her. Liam also mentioned that his team tried to push the TikTok wave onto him, but that he just didn’t want to do it. He openly spoke about how this caused tension. Kate then goes on to talk about how she took “about 8 months” off. She didn’t take an actual break. All she did was post less than she does now. Right after Liam passed away, Kate admitted that she deleted social media for about THREE DAYS. She said that she was “ashamed” because of how quickly she redownloaded TikTok. Her “8 month break” wasn’t an actual break; it was her posting ONLY Liam-related TikToks that centered around HER — not Liam himself. She never once spoke up in his defense, she never once tried to keep his legacy alive. That was just when she started making up lies after lies, contradicting herself, and being unable to keep track of her previous stories that she had already told. She immediately knew that she had to do something to keep her relevance and to keep her name attached to Liam’s. Earlier, it had been raining, and we were filming in a traditional Thai house. I knew the crew was being extremely careful about safety. By “extremely careful,” I mean they wiped the floor dry over and over again. But since it was a traditional Thai house, and she was wearing shoes while walking, you know. We were shooting with a wide-angle camera, so I couldn’t stand close to her (though I wasn’t that far away either). Then, at one point during the take, she started walking a little faster. It was the very last take of that scene because we’d already finished filming all the other camera angles. Then… she slipped!! The first thing that crossed my mind was her hand because she instinctively put it out to break her fall. The floor where she fell was like 2 steps, and one of her legs hit the higher step. Thankfully, the actor who was in the same scene with her caught her in time, so the hand she put down didn’t take her full body weight. That’s why only her leg ended up getting injured. Can you believe that the moment it happened, everyone rushed over like zombies? We all swarmed in, the director, the assistant directors, the crew… everyone. I even jumped over a little table that was in the way to get to her. The first thing I asked was, “Are you okay? How do you feel? Does it hurt a lot? Can you move?” I had to ask because if she’d said she couldn’t move at all, we would’ve needed to provide a different kind of first aid. But she said, “It hurts,” while still laughing at herself. The crew quickly brought over some ice to help with the injury. And can you believe the very first thing she said was, “P’Mook, go ask for the video clip!” 😂 She was still joking because she had no idea how badly it was going to bruise the next day.

I had to go back and watch #BasketballWives Season 5, Episode 5 with a notebook like I was filming an MTV Pop Up Video episode because I genuinely needed to understand why people thought it was funny that Evelyn didn’t put her hand back up after Tami snatched a fork out of her hand and started banging on tables demanding she do it again. Tami was completely unhinged in this scene. Even after the break between Seasons 4 and 5—reportedly taken after the chaos between Tami and Evelyn nearly pushed things too far—she came back with the exact same energy. In the series, they were super bright and cheerful and they are even brighter in real life. They’re so cute when they’re together.

A 2-day-old foal bouncing with excitement to see her mom 🐎💞 I watched this video and found it so adorable 🥰 It’s just a little filly, only two days old, named Miss Tehya. They were leading her out of the barn. And yet her legs kept bouncing, her head stretched forward as if she was about to meet someone very important. She wanted to run to her mom. Her legs were still clumsy, her steps unsteady, but you could clearly see how happy she was. It was as if the only thing worth doing at that moment was getting closer to her mother. Foals can usually stand up and follow their mothers just a few hours after birth. That’s an instinct that keeps them from being left behind. But watching Miss Tehya, it didn’t feel like just instinct. It felt more like a little child eagerly running toward the person she trusts the most. Miss Tehya was born at a rescue farm and is being raised safely. But while watching the video, I didn’t think much about that. I just saw a baby horse happy to be with her mom, and it made my heart feel a little lighter. For people who raise horses, this moment probably means even more. It reminds us that the bond between a mare and her foal starts very early, and that keeping them close from the very beginning really matters. Just a two-day-old foal, bouncing along toward her mother. But it was enough to make me smile ☺️
